Morning Ladies -

I never heard my alarm this morning. I'm just getting started. I'm doing an easy day. Just some lite/moderate cardio and yoga. I'll be back in a bit.

I ended up doing 50 minutes of CIA with Gay Gasper - All Out Infused Step. I also did Rainbeu Mars Yoga for Beauty - Dawn Series and 20 minutes of Classical Stretch. I only burned 280 calories (that won't even cover my chocolate consumption for the day!! Darned Hormones!! LOL).

This step workout had the best music until the cool down and they ruined it playing a song I hate....that song by KD Tungstall. No offense to anyone that likes her....but that song grates on my nerves.

Didn't have that much energy today. It's TTOTM and my pain is flaring and I just feel blah. Hopefully I'll have more energy for tomorrow.

Have great workouts everyone. I"m off to do the normal Saturday routine. It will take me all day to list my Ebay stuff on this stupid computer. It locks up after each thing I list and I have to reboot and sometimes run maintenance to get rid of a reboot error. Drives me crazy every Saturday! Have great workouts. I'll be back later.

Deb - Looked at the rotation. It looks good, but I don't know if I have the focus to stick with it changing that many DVDs, etc. Also, if it takes a normal person 1 hour and 20 minutes, it'll probably take me 1 hour and 40 minutes. I can never finish workouts in the amount of time they are ......ADD girl here. I have to go back and see how much cardio is involved also. If you ever make a simpler one to follow that just uses one DVD for weghts and 1 for cardio, I'd probably follow that better than just doing parts of different workouts.

Diane Sue -oh - your baby got fixed! I have to get Brooklyns claws out once she's had all of her shots. I hate when they come home all drugged up and bandaged. It makes my heart hurt!! I have to take her to the Vet tomorrow for shots, etc. I hope she doesn't freak out like she did last time I put her in the carrier. Also, I hope I can get the little spitfire in their without her tearing me up with her claws. She gets wild when we give her medicine. My DH has scratches all over his body from last time we had to give her medicine.

Dallys - clean from drugs, alcohol & Self Destructive Behavior!! :) BPAL doesn't count as a "self destructive behavior" ....it's a "smell good behavior"....LOL!!

Toasty - I love Hellion!! If you ever see a bottle up on Ebay - let me know!

Thanks for all of the congrats ysterday. Of course, good ol' Mom bought me a bursting box of chocolates! Like I really need those!!! Oyy!! TTOTM and chocolate are lethal!!

That Quentin Tarantino & Robert Rodriquez movie was not that good yesterday. I fell asleep for part of it. Big disappointment!

Good Morning, today I will do the M&F rotation Shoulders, and abs. I will do cardio as well. Not sure if it will be step or kickbox as I didn't workout on Thursday. I kind of messed up my usual pattern. I might do cardio tomorrow but I usually don't get up early enough on Sunday to get it in before church. Puddle got up and moved around a little more this morning. She is still hobbling but puts her foot down once in awhile. Her appetite seems to be picking up too. Mudd tried to take their tug o war rope over to get puddle to play and came back with it looking sad.

Lora, I remember getting kittens from my grandparents farm that were wild and would claw me all up when I would try to hold them. Once they were tamed they were sweet. I hate having to give the pets medicine. Puddle didn't want me to pry her mouth open this morning to give her the pain medicine so I had to rub some broth on the pill to get her to take it.

Hi to everyone,
I hope you all have a fun Easter

This starts Phase 5 Week 9 of my M&F rotation. 4 more weeks to go and then I'll start a superset rotation that was in the latest M&F magazine. Should help me shed some body fat and get a little more defined.

Today's workout was 3 sets/12 reps with a 3 minute rest. Not sure what is up with these long rest periods in this rotation but I'm following it. Must be some reason behind it. I know next week is only 1 minute rest with the same workout I'm doing this week.

Today was Chest, Tri's and Abs:

Chest:
Barbell Bench Press: 80# - 3 sets/12 reps
Incline DB Press: 35's - 3 sets/12 reps
Incline DB Flye: 30's - 1 set/12 reps; 32's - 2 sets/12 reps
Decline DB Press: 32's - 3 sets/12 reps

Triceps:
Dips: 65# - 3 sets/12 reps (these killed for some reason)
Kickbacks: 15# - 3 sets/12 reps (these killed too for some odd reason)
Overhead DB Press: 35# - 3 sets/12 reps (Was all I could do to complete 12 reps with each set)

Abs:
Kick, Punch & Crunch Abs

Workout was WAY over an hour, I think about an hour and 30 minutes. Glad I'm doing these on the weekend, I have time for longer workouts.

Hope you all have a great workout and day!

Debbie, I tried to make myself take longer rests between sets yesterday. I am not very good at waiting for the next set. I think it is supposed to help you lift heavier. My legs are sore today from yesterday's workout. I accidentally did phase 4 on the legs which was pretty much the same except the addition of lunges. I don't know how I turned the page on the rotation :7

Diane Sue - I'm really weird when it comes to rotations, I follow them exact. I don't think it matters much that you did the wrong week of legs. Just do the one you skipped next week.

Anne - Its not a "diet", its a way of life. Keep telling yourself that. :)

Hey Maniacs! Today, so far, has been CleanXtotheMaX. Was hoping to get in a bike ride, but DD wants to go to lunch and then Mom's having our first-ever Easter get-together. Oy! So, it's going to be one of those days where the workout is probably not gonna happen. One day, I'll get in the routine of doing morning workouts. I know that's the only way to be consistant with minimal distractions for me. One day, it'll happen, I swear.

Debbie-3 min. is a long rest. I have a hard time with long rests, like Diane Sue. I've been really good at following the rest periods with NROL. I'm estatic now that I'm down to a 45 sec. rest! But, in another week it'll go up to 60 sec., then going down gradually over the weeks to only 30 sec. and Giant sets! Should be really fun by then. Oy!

Diane Sue-Lora- I used to groom cats and I'll tell ya, thems are some wild animals! I'm so glad I quit grooming them! Even the "perfect cat" goes completely wild at times...no warning! If they were declawed--they were biters!

Anne- Happy Birthday! Can't remember if it's today or tomorrow. I think it's tomorrow.:) Sorry your fridge is on the fritz.

We are gonna miss Char around here aren't we?

Hi to Meg and Jen and Suz and Marietta and Randi and everyone else.

Good Morning!

Well, I went to Red Lobster last night and had soup, salad and bread (THREE pieces and almost the whole bowl of clam chowder!), so since I worried that might interfere with my big plan of 10 pounds in 10 weeks, I rode the bike on the trainer for 2 hours this morning. :p I didn't kill myself on it since I DID kill myself yesterday doing CC#6. I don't want to overtrain my legs and then not be able to ride if the weather ever decides to get nice. It's snowed overnight so the roads are all icy. It was 17 degrees when I got on the bike. I forgot to check when I got out of the shower. I'm supposed to go roller skating later but you know I don't want to drive if the roads are icy b/c of my monster mud tires. :( Anyway, gotta do weights later.

Diane Sue - That is so sad about Mudd. Poor baby doesn't understand. I hope Puddle gets better.

Debbie - Your workouts are killer. You should take some more pics!

Anne - Sorry about your frig! My friend stopped by here yesterday with her 2 daughters on their way home from Denver after their surgery for their new @@'s. They had to fill their ice packs. They had another hour and a half to go to get home. They felt pretty good (the girls, not their @@'s - I didn't feel them! - well, actually one daughter told me to touch one to see how hard it was, and it was!). The mom took them down for the surgery so the one husband could stay with the kids and the other one's boyfriend didn't want her to get them so he didn't want to go.

Lora - Ah, trading one addiction for another (chocolate! - yummy!). Much better choice. :)

Dallys - Your workout rotation sounds cool. I'll be doing that with supersetting in four more weeks. I can't wait! Short rests, constant movement. Thats the only way to shed some fat! :)

Suz - I will. As soon as I start tanning again I plan to update my picturetrail. Dang, 2 hours woman! You are insane! Great going!

I have been busy baking for tomorrow. I will have a houseful. I still need to go stuff the plastic eggs and set things up. Wanted to clip Harvey's claws before we take pictures with the bunny:) We did that last year. I bought a plastic basket and put Bunny hay in it. Today's workout was Turbo Jam Punch Kick and Jam, w/up and cardio, then Kick Max cardio only, then I did the M&F rotation shoulders and abs, I finished with KPC abs two times and the stretch( I used the timesaver dvd to do this).
Workout was as follows:
shoulders
barbell shoulder press 35# 10 reps 1 set, 40# 10 reps 2 sets
wide grip upright rows 35" 8 reps 1 set 40# 8 reps 2 sets
Made an error was supposed to do 2 sets of the next two exercises
dumbbell lateral raises 15# 10 reps 3 sets
bent over lateral raise 12# 10 reps 1 set, 15# 10 reps 2 sets
barbell shrug 35# 10 reps 3 sets
dumbbell shrug 15# dumbbells 12 reps 3 sets
Abs: hanging leg raise 5# ankle weights 15 reps 3 sets
decline crunch 12# dumbbell 12 reps 3 sets
On KPC abs I used a 15# med ball for most of the ball work other than the pikes.

Dallys, Puddle's has been a little more active but her leg is swelling now and she still is not eating a lot.

Anne, have fun tonight:)

Suz, I love clam chowder. It would be worth the extra work:)

Debbie, I know the rest times are part of the differences in the workouts. I really did try to wait more today. You are right I can just switch up when I hit the other week.

Aaarrrggghhh!!! It's so icy out. My sister said she went to Wal-Mart and fishtailed going around a corner. My friend was also out and said the same thing happened to her. If they're sliding in their cars I can only imagine what I would do! So I called my mom to tell her I might not meet them for lunch tomorrow depending on how the roads are so she asks her husband if the roads were icy when he was out! Like I'm lying. He said they weren't. Then he said only in spots. Well gee, it's those spots I'm worried about! Thanks for your concern mom. I really wanted to go to church but I guess I'll be watching my old church from LA on the internet. :(
