Hardcore Fitness Maniacs for Month of May!

May already? Wow! I sure hope it starts to get warm here.

Today I did Cardio Coach #3 and had a pretty decent workout considering I almost didn't get up to workout. I'm beat this week, I have a lot going on at work. I'm glad I got up and did it.

Workout was a total of 41 minutes, ran 2.5 miles and burned about 355 calories.
 
Today I did Lean Legs and Abs with the bonus and Great Glutes standing and disc segments, 86 minutes, 406 calories. Heading out of town overnight so no workout tomorrow.

Debbie, it sure seems like it would warm up a little bit since it is May.
 
Roselyn, I think that you posted on April :). Out of town to close on the sale of our house. Hoping to do x train biceps and Chest Saturday. Maybe workout a plan for the following week. My new grand baby will be born Tuesday unless he decides to come sooner.

Today I did Gym Style Legs. Went fairly light but had a great workout. I don't have time to post my weights. I'll try to come back later and do it.

I also did the Core #1 ab work from XTrain. That is a good one. I didn't do the planks. I need to work up to those. My abs are so weak anymore. :(

Debbie, that is a good core workout. I did it twice this week
 
This morning I did X Train Ride, 57 minutes, 502 calories followed by X Train Burn Sets Biceps and Chest, 28 minutes, 168 calories. 85 minutes, 668 calories. I need to go to Target and pick up my Nutri Ninja I ordered. I am going to do the Fat Burning Man 30 day Green Smoothie challenge. I bought the App a couple of days ago.
 
Today I did 4 Day Split biceps and triceps followed by Party Rockin Step timesaver workouts 1 & 2. Workout was a little over 60 minutes and 429 calories. It has been a pretty busy day. My new grandbaby will be born in the morning and lots of activity so I won't be doing a workout tomorrow.
 
Hi all! I didn't workout yesterday because I had to be at work early and the same thing for tomorrow. I need to be at work by 6:30 a.m. :eek:

Today I tried Xtrain Bi's & Tri's! LOVED IT!!!! OMG, what a great workout. I love how the program guide shows what weights Cathe uses. I went a little lighter than Cathe so I get a feel for the workout and make sure my upper back/shoulder/neck doesn't get irritated. I wrote down all my weights but don't have time to post. Maybe I will have time later. I really think I'm going to love this series!
 
This morning I did w/u and disc from All out low impact hiit,11 minutes, then I did X train Hard Strikes timesaver no conditioning, 35 minutes. I then did X train Core 2 11 minutes. I finished with 4 Day Split legs and core with stretch, 42 minutes. Time was 1 hr 40 minutes and calories burned 675. I am having to make adjustments with 4 Day Split so I may do something else next week. I have only 4 risers that I can find right now. I just went to storage and found my high step topper. I used two risers on each end and the bench and did the leg press more like Cathe does it in Muscle Max. I have no clue where my ankle weights are so I used the blue firewalker band on the step for the outer leg raises.

Debbie, I really do enjoy X Train. The legs workouts are the ones I was a little surprised with. Not real heavy lifting on them. But they are still good. Just not what I expected.
 
Today I did XTrain Legs. I really like this one, too, but was sort of bummed that the Bonus Barre wasn't actually in the Legs workouts. It's in the book as being in the workout but I guess you have to choose it from the chapter menu if you want to do it. My legs and butt are really rubbery right now. I really liked the exercises she did. A few of them hurt my right knee, but not too bad. I'm still very sore from the Bi's & Tri's workout.

No Teddygirl, huh? Where are you Teddygirl???
 
Today I did Xtrain Chest, Back and Shoulders. LOVED IT!!! OMG, 10-Minute Trainer is a joke compared to these workouts. I really loved the exercises Cathe does in this workout. I did all but the last round because I ran out of time. I also went VERY light due to this being the areas that I have problems with, but I still felt each exercise. So fun! I can't wait until next week to do these again.
 
Yesterday I did 4 Day Split Chest and Back. I also did Sharon Twombly Zero to Sixty. Today will be 4 Day Split shoulders, calves and abs.

Debbie, I believe if you look at the premixes there is one with the barre work included. Also it would be in the bonuses on the menu.
Edited to add that it is premix 2 all sections which includes the barre work

Today I started with Pedal Power, 58 minutes, 567 calories.
I made my green smoothie from the challenge after the spin bike then did Les Mills Pump, Pump and Shred workout which was 47 minutes, 296 calories. Total time was 1 hr 45 minutes and calories burned 863. It felt nice to get a good workout in. I have not done Pump and Shred very much so it was fun. I always tend to go for the full length one. Funny.

Lying Tricep Extensions - 10's - 16 reps

Round 3
Seated Concentration Curls- 15# - 16 reps
One Arm Kickbacks w/Tubing - 5's no tubing - 16 reps

Round 4
"W" Curls w/tubing- 5's# - 16 reps
Seesaw Pushups - 12 reps

Round 5
Seated Hammer Curl on Ball- 15's - 16 reps
One-Arm Seated Overhead Extensions - 10# - 16 reps

Round 6
Preacher Curl on Ball- 12# - 16 reps
Side Leaning Overhead Extension - 5# - 16 reps

Round 7
SlowMo Eccentric Curls w/Tubing- 5's - 16 reps
Cross-Body Extensions - 10# - 16 reps

Round 8
Incline Reverse Curls- 12's - 16 reps
One Arm Plank Kickbacks - 5's no plank - 16 reps

Round 9
Hammer Curl Crazy 8's- 12's - 28 reps
Crazy Dips - Skipped

Won't do dips at all, that really irritates my shoulders. So now way.

Today I did a short workout. T 25 Gamma Speed 3.0 and Les Mills Pump Hardcore abs. 45 minutes, 326 calories. I needed to be done to take grandchildren to school and be back when one came to visit for awhile. Lunch with a friend tomorrow :D I think that I may do a Les Mills Pump workout.

Debbie, I am glad to see that you are enjoying the X train workouts. I knew you would. I return to them quite a lot.

Roselyn, I looked at After burn this evening when trying to choose what workout to set up for tomorrow.
 
Today I did Cardio Coach #1. Really had a great workout for going to bed late due to a really bad storm we had here last night. Our bathroom flooded again. And we're supposed to get more storms this afternoon. :rolleyes:

Workout was 36 minutes, I ran 2.25 miles and burned about 335 calories.

Diane Sue - I really am enjoying that series. I want to view Super Cuts and Burn Sets and maybe do them soon.
