Today I did STS Total Body, followed by Lean legs and abs firewalker/chair and barre premix skipping the warm up. I finished with To the Max slide and glide tabata and core with upper body emphasis. Workout was 1 hr 57 minutes and calories burned was 603.

Today I did Burn Sets Chest, Back and Shoulders and had a great workout. I kept to the same weights as last time but feel like I can go heavier on some exercises next time. Love this workout!

Then my sister-in-law and I went to the park and walked 3 miles. It's getting humid here again so I was really sweating. I had two great workouts today! Now I'm starving!!!

Roselyn- Nice workouts!!! Love walking! My dh and I go to Metro Parks all the time and walk on the weekends.

Today I did Party Rockin Step 2 Premix Extreme 73 minutes and Cardio Core Circuit functional core only. 80 minutes, 600 calories. I was going to do weights today but I am still sore from Saturday's STS Total Body workout. My daughter and I took the children to the library for an improve performance. They had fun. Wednesday is the zoo so we will be doing lots of walking. I will have to get the workout done early so we can leave early before the heat hits. It rained a lot last night. and the winds really blew.

Debbie, nice job on the workout and walk :)

Roselyn, that is nice that you and your husband are going for walks together.

Today was supposed to be Xtrain Cardio Leg Blast - Premix 1 with Core #2 added. I just didn't have it in me to do the entire Cardio Leg Blast workout so I did Premix #7 which had Rounds 7-12 plus the Core #2. It was 49 minutes so I got a great workout in. I like the last half of that workout, the cardio and strength exercises are fun. I didn't care of the Core workout, though, that one really bothered my neck and upper back so I had to stop early on most of the exercises.

Had a great workout, though. I was sweating like crazy. It's quite humid here today even though it's not really hot.

Hope you all have great workouts!

This morning I did x train Cardio Leg Blast with Burn Sets Biceps but doing all the cardio first then all of the weights. Workout was 70 minutes and calories burned 514

Yesterday I did lean legs and abs today was party rockin step 1 and abs from max intensity Tomorrow I leave for the Bahamas so out of touch until next wed. have good workouts, I am going to miss mine, going to have to do alot of beach walks.

What is up with all this rain lately? OMG, our bathroom flooded again last night. I'm so sick of it! Why can't we just have a normal summer here? Last year it was so hot all summer you couldn't do anything, this year it's raining and you can't do anything. You can't win.

Sorry, had to vent....

Today I did Burn Sets Bi's and Tri's and had an excellent workout!! Love love love this one!!! I went higher in weights in a couple exercises. I really felt it and will be sore tomorrow!

This is what I did:

BICEPS
Dumbbell Curls - 20's - 2 sets 10 reps; 1 set 11 reps
Simultaneous Rotational Curls - 15's - 2 sets 10 reps; 3rd set 10 reps
Concentration Curls - 20# - 2 sets 10 reps; 3rd set 10 reps
Hammer Curl Double Arm Crazy 8's - Started with 15's, dropped to 12's - 24 reps

TRICEPS
Tricep Pushups - 3 sets
Lying Tricep Extensions - 12's - 2 sets 10 reps; 3rd set 12 reps
One Arm Kickbacks - 8's - 2 sets 10 reps; 3rd set 12 reps
Double Arm Overhead Extension w/Tubing - 10 reps - Didn't do the pulses, this one isn't comfortable for me to do, it hurts my upper back and I feel like I'm struggling too much to just get into position to do the exercise. Next time I might just do a dumbbell overhead extention instead.

Diane Sue - I'd take beach walks in the Bahamas over working out here at home ANY DAY!! Have fun!

Today's workout was X Train Chest, Back, and Shoulders 51 minutes, 235 calories followed by Burn Sets Triceps 14 minutes, 80 calories. I then did Kelly Coffey Home Gym Intervals workout 2 using the Tread Climber. This was 28 minutes, 302 calories. Total time was 95 minutes and calories burned 617. My heartrate monitor batter ran down. I just ordered a Polar FT7 from Amazon since it seems to have a lot of good reviews. I have sent the old one out to a Polar authorized dealer twice over the years to have the battery replace. I just figured with the expense and hassle of mailing it out I would just replace it. I have the FT60 and F4 somewhere packed away in storage. I don't care for the F4. I could work myself to death and still not burn any calories with that one and I know it is inaccurate.

Today I did Xtrain Legs and had an excellent workout. Of course Cathe's rotation calls for the entire leg workout which is 80 minutes but there is no way I am going to work my legs that long. I did the premix which does the Standing part and the Floor part and I had an excellent workout. I was able to do all of it with very little modification which made me very happy. My right knee was really bothering me this morning and I almost skipped the workout, but I did very well with it and that surprised me.

Tonight I'm going to walk with my sister-in-law. Hopefully we'll get 3 miles in.

This is what I did:

STANDING
Walking Lunges - 8#
Forward Leaning Lunges w/Cups - Didn't use the cups
Plie Wall Squats - 12's
Low Pulse Lunges - 8#
Side Lunge w/Disc
Warrior Lunge w/Disc

Single Leg Deadlift - 12's
Firewalkers - My favorite!

FLOOR
Clams - 16 reps each leg
Classing Inner Thigh Lift - 32 reps toes pointed/32 reps foot flexed
Straight Leg Lifts - 32 reps toes pointed/32 reps foot flexed
Elbow Bend Leg Lifts - 32 reps toes pointed/32 reps foot flexed
Weighted Pizza Press - 8 slow/8 cross over/16 presses (no weights)

The floor work is crazy but I was able to do the entire thing without stopping. I was really surprised at that, usually I get that burning going and I just can't keep going.

Love this workout!

Today I did Rock Out Knock Out and Les Mills Pump Core Attack. Since my heart rate monitor needs a battery I don't have the stats. Workout was 70 minutes. My new heart rate monitor shipped so hopefully I have it soon.

Debbie, X train legs seems to move pretty quickly for me :)

I thought I checked in yesterday - I walked over 3 miles with my sister-in-law yesterday and about 4 miles Thursday evening. My knees are talking to me, though. They aren't liking all this walking so I might have to cut back a bit.

Friday's workout was supposed to be Hard Strikes, just the kickboxing part again but I can't do that due to my shoulder. So I decided to just power walk with my SIL.

Diane Sue - Sorry about the post about the Bahamas. I realized it's Roselyn that is in the Bahamas right now, not you. I'm so jealous of her!!! Wish I was there!!!!

Hope you all have a great weekend!!

Yesterday the only workout I had was walking around the zoo. Today I did Les Mills Pump and Shred 47 minutes. I also did Pump and burn squat , legs and back, and abs tracks 15 minutes. I added on the Core Attack and Flow to this. Total time was 96 minutes

Debbie, I knew that you meant Roselyn:) That's okay. The Bahamas would be a lot of fun right now. Beach walks are awesome. BTW is the rain what flooded your bathroom? We have had quite a bit of rain here and my allergies are worse this year than in the past. I was trying to workout outside early in the morning but it just seems to make the allergies worse.

Hi guys last day in Bahamas fly out tomorrow:(

Did some good walks and I think my body needed the break from lifting and intense cardion I feel re-energized, I know you take weeks off Debbie and I now see why. The walks were good though.

Be catching up wed. with workouts

Superman "Y" on Ball - Skipped, these create knots in my upper back
Lateral Raise w/10-10 degree Tilt - 8's - 12, 10, 8 reps

Love this workout!

Diane Sue - Yes, our bathroom has flooded from all the rain we've been getting. We had another torential downpour again yesterday but luckily not long enough to flood our bathroom. WTH? Weird weather.

Roselyn - Yes, breaks do the body well. I usually try to take a week off every 12 weeks of training. It does help tremendously. Your muscles need a break. I hope you had a great time in the Bahamas!!!

Today I did Zero to Sixty with Sharon Twombly. 68 minutes. My new Polar FT7 came this afternoon. I hope it works well. I checked reviews for one that people said was accurate. We will see.

Debbie, I am glad that your bathroom didn't get flooded again. That really would be upsetting.

Roselyn, I am glad you enjoyed your break. It really does help to have some breaks.

Today I did Kelly Coffey Shape Up both workouts, 54 minutes, 301 calories, HR avg 120/max 154. I followed this with Cathe's X10 Step 26 minutes, 162 calories, HR avg 126/max 161. The new heartrate monitor seems pretty accurate on heart rate but the calories seem lower than I usually get. I am happy the heart rate is accurate because I always tend to want to kill myself trying to get the heart rate up there. I am headed out of town tonight so may get in something at the hotel in the morning or just have another rest day :)

Today I walked with my sister-in-law for 2 miles. Didn't want to do any leg workouts due to my knees hurting right now. I think I over did it with the walking last week. So this week I will forego the leg workouts and just walk with her. They are feeling better, but not well enough to lunge and squat. :( It's always something.

It's July, we need to start a new thread. If I post first tomorrow, I'll do that.

Diane Sue - Nice workout! Hope you have good luck with the new HR monitor. I gave up on them. Have fun!
