Hardcore Fitness Maniacs for Monday Sept 24

Morning Maniacs -

I didn't know what to do this morning since I lifted yesterday doing my Jillian Backside workout. I did Preventions Slim Sleek and Strong which is a Pilates/band based workout. They used the yellow band and I used the green thining it would be enough, but I barely felt it. That was 50" long and then I did the HIIT segment off of Abs Diet 2 on the Rebounder but again, my HR only got into the 140's....so it wasn't a very intense workout. I consider it active rest. I'll have to try and figure out what I want to do for a rotation. Until then, I'll probably stick with some functional fitness this week. Workout was 1 hour 30" and I burned 402 calories.

Have great workouts or rest days. I've got to go apply for a job that was in the paper. It's an entry level secretarial job and I'm probably just wasting my time. I hardly ever get called for a regular secretarial job that only requires a High School Diploma and 1 year of experience. I don't know why, cuz I'll work for entry level pay!!! This is so frustrating. I'm sick of this emotional rollercoaster.
 
Back to the iron today and it felt GREAT! Was a little worried about my forearm but it feels good so hopefully it will stay that way. I stretched it out quite a bit between exercises. It still feels a bit tight.

Underhand Barbell Rows:
75# - 8/8/8/8
[font color=blue]***Loved how these felt. Low back was able to support me in a flat back position. That's really hard for me to achieve.[/font]

Dumbbell Pullovers:
45# - 10/10/10

[font color=indigo]Chest[/font][/size]
1 min. rest between everything
Barbell Bench Press:
105# - 8
115# - 6/5
[font color=blue]***Used a wider grip then normal, made this harder for me but I liked how it felt. It was hard to do full range of motion so I probably should have kept it at 105#.[/font]

Decline Flyes:
35's - 10/10/9
[font color=blue]***These felt good and no shoulder clicking for once.[/font]

High Incline Dumbbell Press:
40's - 8/8/8
[font color=blue]***Got a great pump with these. I always feel really strong with inclines.[/font]

Good Morning, I started my workout with Tracey Staehle's High Intensity Kick Box w/up and KB, then I did Amy's Kick Box Extreme Great nrg premix skipping the w/up I did the bonus bag segment twice. I am going to do Push Pull Lower 3 sets in a few minutes.

Morning Maniacs! Todays plan is a TT workout with HIIT and if it's not raining later today, I'll go on a bike ride.

Good morning!

This morning I did Power Hour. I love this workout. It's one of my all time favorites. Since I haven't been doing legs much my legs were shaking SO MUCH! :) I wish I would have gotten up earlier to do some cardio. I got up at 5:15. I need to take lessons from Lora!

Dallys - Yup, it's raining here. We have a frost warning for tonight and rain mixed with snow.

Lora - Good luck on the job search again. I know you're so tired of it. Did you ever go to one of those temp agencies?

I finished up my workout. Now I have to get ready to take one of our dogs for her 1 year shots. I will take the other one Wednesday. I did Push and Pull Lower premix 3 sets, Core Max tough core using a 15# med ball, and yoga shatki backbend prep, lunge and supine poses(these segments seem to really stretch at the legs and hips well).
squats 65# 24 reps 3 sets
deadlift 65# 20 reps 3 sets
static lunge heel elevated 20#dumbbells 20reps 3 sets
leg press 25# 16 reps 3 sets
outer thigh on the stability ball 5#ankle weights 3 sets
inner thigh w/ ball no weight 3 sets
calf raises 25# 1 set
shins with stability ball no weight 1 set

Hi, all.

This a.m. I did B&G leg blast premix (is that what it's called? the one without the warm up). I did B&G's warm up, then the premix stopping before the stretch, did the bonus footage (leg press, sit n stands, glute squeezes, abs on ball) then did a stretch segment from Amy's abs and stretch.

BBL.

Finished workout:

Abs: various for 20 mins

Chest:
25# db's for bench 3 sets/10
35 pushups
decline flyes with 35's 3 sets/8

Back:
Lawnmowers w/40's 3 sets/8
Lat Pulldowns 80# then had to drop to 70# 3 sets/8
Chinups 5/5

Tired tonight that is why my numbers suck. I work tomorrow evening so I hope to do better as I will be more rested during day.
 
Lora - I'm sorry. :( Hang in there. You're so good at keeping up with your workouts when most people would crawl under a rock! You are a very strong woman.

Char - I don't think your numbers suck at all. I think you're too hard on yourself. Especially with all you've been through. You look great!

I'm so inspired with the women here. You all amaze me!
