Morning Ladies -

This morning I did Jillian's Frontside Circuit. I added ankle weights and a 12 pound DB for abs. I used Cathe's BodyMax 2 stretch for the stretch. Circuit with stretch was 1 hour and I burned about 300 calories. I also added on The Firm Core Solutions - Functional Core abs 10". Last night I did Hemalaya Behl's Evening Bath yoga routine.

Speaking of The Firm - that new firm instructor I said is ripped is a Fitness Competitor. She is the most ripped Firm instructor I've ever seen. Very inspiring.

Have great workouts ladies -- I'm off to eat breakfast and then I have to clean.
 
Suz - I just read back to Saturday's tread and seen the post you did about your 62.5 mile ride. Why did that guy react that way to your inhaler? That's odd, especially if that is the kind he uses. Can you figure out why that happened?

This morning I'm doing the first BM. I'm getting siked it's such a long workout}( Has anyone seen the new FDA approved weight loss pill Alli? It is always sold out when I go to wal mart and drug stores.
Lora great workout today I would like to see that Firm instructor that's awesome! I'm not sure when the presale starts, but i'm so exited

This morning was Pull and I worked Back, Biceps and Traps. 2 minutes rest between everything:

Back
Deadlifts: 65# - 3 sets/6 reps (up 5#)
Bent Over Rows: 75# - 3 sets/8 reps (up 5# & PB)
One-Arm Rows: 40# - 10/9/8 reps

Biceps
Chins w/legs out front: 10/8/6 (last week did 8/6/7)
Dumbbell Curls: 25's - 10/9/8 (Did drag curls last week but they hurt my wrists. These hurt my wrists as well)

Traps
Barbell Shrugs: 110# - 3 sets/10 reps (same)
Dumbbell Shrugs: 47's - 2 sets/12 reps

***Battle Scar #1: When I went to rack my 25's I pinched my finger between the dumbbell and the rack. Didn't think much of it as I do this on a regular basis. Started my next exercise and seen blood all over the place!! Oy!

***Battle Scar #2: When I was doing my last exercise I got to the 2nd set of shrugs and felt an aweful pain in my middle finger of my left hand. I tried to do the 3rd set but couldn't even grip the DB. I'm thinking I broke a blood vessel because my finger is all purple, swollen and I can't bend it. Geez! Hope this doesn't last long. I iced it right away, I hope that helps.

Workout was an hour. Hope you all have great workouts!
 
Randi, heard it has some foul effects on your bowels if you eat anything bad...Greasew etc...

Today is a rest day. Gotta run to the 1st surgeons to pick up a refund check this am , then i am off to work.Mon is my evening shift...


I am really sore. Legs and bi's are killing me..

Went to VS for a convertable bra.. The bras were all 50% off. So, as you know i bought some ... 20 verse 50 is like yes...
well, gotta get a bath and get movin...

Good Morning, I didn't check in yesterday. I started to and one of the keys on my computer was stuck. Then I just got to busy and was in and out the door all day. Got a lot of shopping done for out camping trip next week. We had a birthday party for my granddaughter to go to as well. Today I am doing Ripped 1000 and will add another workout for cardio. I am expecting Kimberly Spreen's Cardio Camp any day. Yesterday I took another rest day. I just had so much to do and have not been sleeping well.

Morning Maniacs! I'm so sore from yesterdays 8 mile walk, that I can't even take a full stride! I feel it in my hip joints. Like I walked 300 miles or something. LOL! Not sure if I will get in a workout or not today. Hopefully my hips will losen up by this afternoon.

Lora- I don't see that the pre-sale has started. I'm just waiting...and waiting...

Randi- Haven't heard any good things about Alli, just "stay away".

Debbie- I smashed my finger last week with 2 dumbbells. I still have a blood blister under my fingernail. It HURT! Nice workout and great poundage!

Anne- Did you get a full refund? So, you are using a new surgeon next?

Diane Sue-You've had alot of parties latley.:) You deserve some rest days.

Just finished BM! I cant decide which one is harder I think the 2nd one might be just a little:) I'm not going to take alli I just thought since it is alway sold out figured it might actually work.?

Good morning:)

I had to redo my rotation for this week since I missed my workout Sunday. Me and my family took my sis out to Golden Corral on Sunday for her birthday. I tell ya, I ate like a pig:9 this is why I don’t like buffet restaurants I don’t know how to stop. I end my meal with a bowl of ice-cream and 2 slices of carrot cake:9 Then on saturday, me and sis went to Steak & Shake, I liked it. I told my sister NO more..........That's enough fast foods for me.......

Workout tonight, will be Strike Zone and Leg & Glutes (standing)

I got surgical fees back. 6 grand.. It will pay most of the next. Better than lengthy court battles...

Good afternoon!

This morning I rode by myself. I wanted to do a fast ride to make up for Saturday. So I reset my bike computer and rode as fast as my legs would take me. I booked it. On the way back I checked my average speed and guess what? I HAD ACCIDENTALLY TURNED OFF MY COMPUTER!!!!! You can't tell b/c it will still show you your speed and your cadence but if you try to check your distance or your averages that's when you can tell. I figured I wouldn't check until I was almost home. Arrrgh!!! I know that I went "about" 21 or 22 miles but that's all I know. I can check my overall time later on my HR monitor and I suppose I can go and drive my distance and do the math. Sheeesh! I know I was flying b/c of my speeds when I would look at my computer. And my legs were fried.

Debbie - I don't know, but that guy told somebody that he shouldn't have taken a hit of Albuterol "during" a ride. But the directions and my doctors say if you're having trouble to take an additional hit or two during exercise, so I don't know. Maybe there are different dosages and he's on a lower one??? All I know is I felt terrible and I'm just glad I didn't give him a heart attack. Your poor finger!!! Awesome workout!

Anne - I'm glad you're getting a refund check. So he must know he did something wrong, right?

Diane Sue - What kind of food do you take on your camping trips? DH wants to do some camping and for me I'm thinking veggie burgers and stuff. I'm sorry you're not sleeping well.

Dallys - Isn't that crazy how sore walking makes you? It kills my hips too!

Randi - Great workout as usual.

Teddygirl - You had quite the marathon of eating this weekend. :9

Better get back to work. Better go preorder too. I always regret not preordering early enough.

I got my workout it. It was extra long because Kimberly's Cardio camp and Criss Cross Cardio both arrived:) I started with Ripped 1000 went slightly higher than Craig on it this time and used an 8 inch step, then I did Tracey's Sweatfest Step section 1 no w/up, then I did Cardio Camp skipping the w/up. Felt like I needed more weight work though. It won't be long and I will be ready to hit the Heavy weights again. I ran some errands because I forgot the small cd's for our video camera and wanted to film the 4th campout. Today is my granddaughters actual birthday so I took them to Panera Bread to pick out a treat. I ended up with a iced caramel cappucino(loads of calories) will have to keep everything else low fat and no more sugar:) Funny though one picked a carton of chocolate milk and the other got a mango smoothie. Neither was interested in the pastries. Should have done lunch there as the birthday girl loves their chicken noodle soup. They are pretty good about not caring so much for sweets and junk.

Debbie, I remember once twisting around from the bench to put a dumbbell on the rack. I felt a slight twinge but didn't really think anything of it till later when my finger turned all black and blue and swelled. The next day it was pretty much back to normal.

Suz, when we go camping I take nuts, apples and cheese sticks for munching. Usually some jerky. Lots of bottled water. We cook chicken a lot. This year each family is bringing a meal. Mine is centered around chicken. I also sometimes by those rice packets that you just heat and eat to go with our meals. I like to get the brown rice ones. I think someone is bringing steaks for one day and baked potatoes that they will grill. Last year we did chicken and beef kabobs with peppers and onions. I also stock the trailer with cans of tuna and la tortilla factory low carb wraps.

Deb - what ab workout of Cathe's did you do the other day and say it was the best one she's done? I can't remember and you made me want to do it.
