Good Morning Maniacs
Took this weekend off of working out. Went to Pasadena Ca with my mom to visit my bro and his family. Did a lot of shopping there and went to the beach:)It is beautiful over there. This morning I'm doing S&H legs and Gym style floor work BBL

I ended up doing The Firm High Definition Sculpt followed by about 10 minutes of cardio. Workout was 1 hour and 4 minutes long and I burned 330 calories. Didn't have time to do anything else, as I have a job interview this morning.

I have to apologize for not being active here these last couple days. It's been a crazy weekend with my mom's 70th birthday party and all. Had a great time and she sure was surprised! The look on her face was priceless.

This morning was Chest & Tri's and truth be told, I so wanted to stay in bed. I am so tired. But not much can keep this woman down so I got up and had a pretty excellent workout.

Chest
1 min. rest
Barbell Bench Press (warmup): 85# - 2 sets/10 reps
2 min. rest
Barbell Bench Press: 105# - 3 sets/6 reps (up 5#)
1:30 min. rest
Incline DB Press: 40's - 3 sets/8 reps (up 3#)
Decline Flyes: 35's - 3 sets/10 reps (same)
Weighted Elevated Pushups: 20/20
**Notes: The incline presses at 40# db felt AWESOME! I was surprised I got them into position so easily today. That made me really happy! Pushups about killed me today with less time rest.

Triceps
2 min. rest
Close Grip Barbell Press: 85# - 3 sets/6 reps (same)
1:30 min. rest
Skull Crushers: 55# - 3 sets/8 reps (same)
Bench Dips: 45# - 3 sets/10 reps (up 5#)
**Notes: CG press felt great today, last week I was a little sloppy with them, this week I had great form. Same with the skulls, last week was a little sloppy so I stayed with the same weight to get my form down.

Ended up doing Gym style leg floorwork first then s&h legs and shoulders. Then I took a little nap:)

Good Morning Maniacs!!!

Doing Chest/Shoulders/Triceps/Abs today. Son usually has been working out with me, but has to work today. I am off today. My glutes are still very sore from P90X. Weird how this workout gets my glutes so sore and butts and guts does not, not like this, but Butts and Guts is way harder in my opinion too. Interesting though.
 
Debbie, before long you can just lift me.. Won't need a barbell..

Well, Dallys been working out for me. So far B&G and CC..
God i feel like i could workout and i am not. I may just go and walk on the treadmill for an hour or so. I am trying to be good.. Boredom is killing me..

All went really well. I will try to snap a pic for ya all later. I look like someone beat me up. Gotta run to the store later..
Need a few groc..Thank god for sunglasses..


Char, i can do any Cathe weight leg tape and B&G is way the hardest. I feel it the most.Must be fun working out with the son.

Gonna go to Wally world ang get a few CD's. I was going to download , but not always compatible with ipod..

Hey Maniacs! finished a 3.68 mile walk with Carma, listened to "Greenday" and "Free". Took 55 min. and Pedometer says I burned 246 cals. and my HRM says I burned 299. Either way, I was surprised at my calorie burn for just walking and I was surprised how high my HR stayed. AHR was 130 and it got up in the 140's and 150's at times. I never wear my HRM walking, because I figured it was wasn't really that great of workout. Maybe I'm wrong?

Char- Exactally the same with me. P90X legs makes me VERY sore and B&G doesn't but yet it's harder. Weird.

Debbie- Great workout as usual.

Hey Maniacs!

I got up early and did CC#4 on the elliptical. Only stayed on til it was over - 45 minutes. Tough workout though! Had to be to work early for SEEK - kids' summer camp. Last week of it. Woo hoo! Lots of lost parents this morning and teachers driving me mad!!! One teacher had only 4 kids (out of 7 - small class that I added late) show up so she calls me AFTER the class starts and wants to cancel it! Like I'm supposed to send these little 5-7 year olds home after they've been looking forward to it? In June she couldn't handle 15 kids (which her afternoon class will have this week) and now she doesn't want to teach with only 4 kids. Good grief! I told her no - she has to teach so suck it up. These parents have already paid too.

Randi - I'm so envious that you got to go to the beach in LA. :( I miss it so much. Glad you had a great time.

Anne & Dallys - LOVE that song!

Better get back to work. Better go visit some of the classes and make sure all is going well. There are 11 this morning and 10 this afternoon. We have about 300 little kids running around our college this week. I love it! :)

I was dragging this morning but finally got my workout in. I then went to GNC and got some vitamins and calcium. I ran out a week ago. Picked up some protein powder and got home and found it had high fructose corn syrup and sugar in it:( I should have read the label. Today I did Kelly Coffey Step Box stopping at the cardio weights segment, I then did Amy's Kick Box EX premix good nrg no w/up or str (had the core work in it), then Slow and Heavy Triceps, Biceps and Abs(added some weight here) finishied with Amy's Str#2 off of Abs and Stretch.

dumbbell triceps kickbacks 12# dumbbells 2 sets, 10# 1 set
triceps dips 45# barbell in lap 2 sets

I am takin it easy. I bored. Went to K-mart, dropped my sunglasses (broke)and got some stares.(2 black eyes)..
Bought some more arnica tablets and some wine. HEHE..

I just saw this check-in and don't know what you have to do to qualify to be part of it, but I just had to say that, Debbie, I thought I was doing pretty good with my strenght training but after seeing what your doing I am totaly blown away!!!!:eek:

Diane Sue - How does it feel to work bi's & tri's on the same day? Did you find your triceps fatigue quicker or about the same as when you work them with other muscle groups? Nice workout too, by the way! Also, what rotation are you doing now?

Debbie, triceps was first so it was the biceps that I was struggling with :) It is amazing how putting different muscle groups together or changing the pace can make it harder to lift what I am used to. My rotation is one I put together. I just spent 3 weeks doing Cathe's Slow and Heavy legs adding standing kickbacks and calves on the Bowflex and using Gym Style upper body. Now I have switched up to all Slow and Heavy. I also have been doing one lighter circuit on Saturdays. The last time I added Butts and Guts floorwork to it. I also am changing my days up a little with S&H.
