Morning Ladies -

This morning I was late getting started (due to technical difficulties), so I did Gunnar's Core Secrets Head to Toe Extended (45"). I used much heavier weights then they do in the video and added weight to all of my ab work since the rep count is lower. This was a functional fitness workout with jump rope intervals. I wanted to do a bit easier of a workout today in anticipation of the new Cathe's and Barry's.

They just announced on the radio that Buckcherry's coming back to Austintown, which is about 20 minutes from where I live. I might go and just go to work the next day (on three hours of sleep). It won't be like that's the first time I've gone with 3 hours sleep.

Have great workouts............gotta run. I'm running late this morning.

I am teaching step class tonight with pushups and ab work to end it, so I'm getting geared up for that. Got some new music so it's just what do I start with tonight. ;-)

Good Morning Maniacs!!!

Yesterday was awful. My shoulder is throbbing again. Woke up like this. It bothered me so bad yesterday that I only made it thru pullups. I did 8 this time. I have no choice to rest upperbody today. I will work lower today. I may just have to go back to chiro again. I am really depressed. Was making some gains on bench.

ETA: However, I did do coremax 2 by myself and w/weights. Dh did not want to.

Good Morning,
Today I plan on doing Ripped to the Core and cardio. I wll probably run on the treadmll. Yesterday I did Amy Bento Abs#1 off of Abs& Str. adding more resistance than she does. That is all I did this weekend:) Today is a busy day I am taking dh to the airport, dog to the vet for shots and running errands before I pick up the grandchildren. So I am not sure how much I will be around during the day. I have no real plans on workouts this week as I am waiting for Cathe's to make a rotation plan.

Charlotte- sorry about your arm. I am sure a day of rest will be goodd for it. If not, I think you should go back since he helped you last time. I wish you the best with it. I am sure you won't lose your gains. You are too strong! (your will and strength!) Cute avatar!

Lora- I checked out some AMy Bento vids on her website. They seem pretty good. I am thinking of getting her new ones.

Marcia- Have a great class tonight! SOunds like fun!

I am thinking a rest day. It is the 7th day, and I did good with PUB lasts night. I hope to maybe throw in some yoga, but we will see if time will allow that.

Good morning everyone! This morning I got on my treadmill for an hour. Just did a steady state and kept my HR around 138-141. I did about 2½ miles. With stretch and all workout was an hour and 6 minutes, I was in my zone for 50 minutes and burned 323 calories.

Tomorrow is leg day, not sure I'm looking forward to it!

Charlotte - so sorry to hear your arm is worse. Take it easy today and just rest. How frustrating that must be for you. :(

Charlotte - sorry your arm is bothering you. Did you injure it lifting?

My Barry's Bootcamp has arrived - at least according to the computer. I just checked my click and ship. I'm glad. i was feeling guilty for doing an easy workout today.......but now I don't feel guilty any more!!

My legs are so sore today. Yesterday I did legs at the gym and today i did the first 3 intervals of Imax 3 and the blast section of KM and High Jog for 1 min. And i want to take a nap but I have to work :(

Thanks for asking and thinking of me. Yeah, I injured it awhile ago. Got better from seeing chiro and so did the pinch nerve thing I got going on too, but both are worse for now. I have to learn not to go too heavy for now!!!!! Damn!!! How am I suppose to do that???? I am a crazy woman. I will find ways to amuse myself thru this. I am not gonna let it bring me down.

Hope you all have a good day. Now I got to clean dishes, put away clothes and workout to legs and glutes.

Done with legs. Did 3 sets of 12 deadlifts with 100# and then Legs and Glutes with 5# ankle weights and used more weight then Cathe. Not sure I will be able to walk tomorrow. lol


ETA: I'm gonna leave my scary face up until Halloween. Hope you all don't mind me in all my craziness.

Marcia, are you a step instuctor? I guess you must be if you are teaching tonight, doh! LOL! Have fun with the new music.

Bionic scary upside down girl, That sucks about your shoulder! My DH has a similar problem and he has decided he can't go as heavy as he wants on Chest presses, just keeps getting the same injury. He just adds more reps now. It's just not worth going heavier, if you keep getting the same injury. Great workout on legs today. You will be sore tomorrow, I'm sure. Did you do overhand or underhand grip for pull-ups? Great job!

Are you insane? Did you take breaks?I would be cramping.....Falling over dying.
I just don't do that one that often. I like GS legs.

Dallys, I looked at the Amy Bento new ones. I liked the weight w/o the rest didn't seem to impress me.

I would love to get certified to teach, but i think i would suck at it. I don't know if i could break things down so people could learn and follow and what if they hated me or i made it too hard or too easy...
OOOOH, too much to think about.
