Morning Maniacs -

This morning is total body day. I'll probably do some yoga also. I'll be back in a little bit.
 
This morning I did Cardio Coach #6 with Sean. Great workout and even though I ate a lot of bad things yesterday, I actually felt really good this morning. No chocolate hangover headache or upset stomach. I didn't really eat all that bad, but did have a lot of chocolate.

I did the ab work from Step, Jump & Pump as well. Love that ab work. Workout was 1:07 was in my zone for 46 minutes and burned 382 calories!!! Woo Hoo!

I was a full fledged maniac before getting pregnant with my son but now I am just a maniac waiting to happen:) Some of my workouts lately have been pretty hardcore but there are other days that I can only fit a 3 mile run in.

Im not sure what todays workout will be. Yestersay was a rest day so todays workout will be a good one! I will be back later to report.

Hi Lori!! How is that baby?? Gorgeous I am sure!

Morning Lora and Deb and everyone else. I had a pretty crappy weekend, but it was nice spending time with my mom and dad yesterday.

I have a new focus today. I realized that "this", working out and checking in on this site, makes me happy. SO it is pretty dumb of me to not do those things, no matter what is going on in my life. Plus, with my Sarcoidosis, I need to keep up with the exercising, cuz I have been in quite a bit of annoying pain the last week in all my joints. SO again, pretty stupid to not be doing my best.

SO, that said, I need to get something to eat and hopefully be able to crank something out.

Lora, my son Chase loves that song Everything by Buckcherry. He calls them Upcherry! LOL There are not many songs appropriate for children, but we like to listen to that one in the car. TOo cute to hear them singing it!

DS- how is your puppy? I have been praying for him.

I ended up doing Kimberly Spreen's Progressive Strength with combat section 60" and then I did Mindy's All About Arms Tubing segment and Barb Benagh's Yoa for Beginners (45"). During the 60" weights and combat part, I burned around 300 calores.

I'm getting ready to take Brooklyn to the Vet and I'm a nervous wreck cuz I'm not sure if I'm going to get her in the cat carrier without her flipping out. She may be little but she's down right wicked and maniacal when she's caged!

Good Morning, I am getting ready to leave for the vet. Puddle has both legs on one side swollen now:( She keeps looking at me like why aren't you feeding me. The vet had said no food or water so he could put her under anesthesia. So far my workout has been Cardio and weights step cardio premix and abs, then the abs that I was supposed to do for my M&F rotation today. That was 3 sets of decline reverse crunches and 3 sets of cable crunches. I used a 10# med ball for the reverse crunches and 160# resistance on the Bowflex for the cable crunches. I am hoping to get in the chest and triceps today as well.

Morning ladies, I have spent all morning trying to get this stupid Zen Micro working. Won't sink with my music library. AARGH.... I got the cardio coaches in it though...

I had a birthday hangover to remember.. Went out Sat night and i got hammered, a big time. I was sick all day yesterday... Never again...
I did have fun, what i remember....My daughter has pics i will see if i can get them later..I was in Rare form...
Gonna do MMax again. I need a total body kick me back in shape...
Today is diet and back to norm... Thou shall not drink... , the 12th commandment. The 11th is thou shalt not cut thy own hair..I am Misses Moses...

Hey Maniacs! Wonders never cease! I got my workout in this morning! YeeeHaaaa!

Did NROL Fatloss-1, Workout-A. 45.sec rests.

Warmup was one set of all exersices with light weight and no rests.

*Superset
Squats 3x10x59
Cable seated row 3x10x70
*Superset
Supine hip extension 3x10xPurple band
DB shoulder push press 3x10x20 (gonna be awhile to get past the 20's)
*Superset
Rotational lunge 3x10x33 plate at chest
SB crunch 3x10x20

Followed be 25 min. HIIT-10min on treadmill, 10 min. on St. Bike.

Workout was about 1.hr. and burned 303 cals.

I had to leave puddle with the vet. He is not sure what is wrong since now two joints are swollen. He was going to make some calls. I ran a couple of errands and came home and finished the M&F rotation week 4 chest and triceps:

Chest: incline dumbbell flye 25# 10 reps 3 sets
no pec dec so I did Bowflex flyes 50# each hand 10 reps 3 sets
Incline dumbbell press 35# 8 reps 1 set, 30# 10 reps 2 sets
decline bench press 25# dumbbells 10 reps 3 sets
Triceps: press down on Bowflex 80# 10 reps 1 set, 8 reps 2 sets
seated overhead dumbbell extensions 25# 10 reps 1 set, 30# 10rep 1set
triceps dips 75# barbell 10 reps 2 sets

I had to break my workout but I got it done. I did MM earlier and I just finished a 7 mile run:)

Anne, Im doing good with the baby but it also helps that he is a good baby. He is getting to the age though where he likes to be picked up so he will only "hang out" for a while before he wants to be played with. Like right now, I need to do some housework but he wants to be played with....so I guess the cleaning will have to wait:) Darn it!!!

Hi guys. I did B&G earlier, skipping the floor work. My legs still feel like jelly everytime I get up LOL!! It was a really good WO. I hate one legged squats!!!!! They kill me, so maybe I love them!!!!!
I felt really good after.

DS- I will keep praying for the pup. I am so sorry he is not well.

Late check-in for me! And what a nice surprise - Lori is here! Hooray!!!! Welcome! I see you're still a running fool! Good for you. That baby is just adorable. And you're as beautiful as ever. How is your DD enjoying being a big sister? Are the doggies being good with the baby?

This morning I did CC#6 on the bike (trainer). Maybe I should try doing a Spinervals workout once. Hmmmmm...but I'm having so much fun! My HR lowers so fast anymore so I know my heart is in good shape. Yay! Gotta do weights tonight.

Get this - my sister went to the doctor this morning b/c she had to get more thyroid meds and her doc won't do it without seeing her every so often so the doc said it had been over a year since her last pap and my sis said that she was putting it off so her doc said that since she is low risk she could get one every THREE years. She's 10 months older than I am (she's 45). SOOOO, since I'm scheduled for one next Friday with the same doc and I had one last year, I called to see if I could get on this 3 year plan myself and just go in for a checkup! I'm waiting for the call back. :) Have you ever heard of this?

Diane Sue - I hope you get good news on Puddle. That's so weird. You don't need any more sad doggie news. :(

Hey Maniacs! Might go on a Mt. bike ride when DH gets home...we'll see. Kinda cool and gloomy outside.

Suz- Yes! My Doc told me that when I went off the pill. If you are on the pill you need one every year to get the new prescription, but it's every 3 years if you aren't on the pill. I was sooooooooooo happy about that! Course, in 3 years I'll be even more major uncomfortable going in.

Diane Sue-Did you hear back from the vet yet? I can't believe another joint is swolen. ??

Meg- Good job on fryin the legs!}( Keep postin, cuz we need your motivation too!

Lori- Welcome! Sounds like you already know people here.:) 7 miles and MM! Oy!

Randi- Great workout!

Marietta- I love working out in the mornings, but I never get up early enough or I like to dawdle on the computer to long. Gotta make new habits.:)

Dallys - Well that is SO cool. I can't believe they don't tell you that. They just let you go in year after year after year for paps. Interesting. We'll see what they say when (if) they call back.

Yup, Lori and Charlotte and I used to be on a check-in that Lori had. But Lori ditched us when she got pregnant. :p She just left us floundering.

I left Puddle with the vet overnight. He took blood and sent it to the lab to check for Lyme's disease. This would have the symptoms she has. If this doesn't show anything he will put her under anesthesia and pull fluid from the joints. I thought it better that she stay there because with Mudd and the grandchildren she will not stay off of her feet. He gave her some stuff for the inflamation.
Has anyone here ordered any of Tracy Staehle's new dvd's? I ordered the new strength one. They have all been shipped out.

Hi ladies! Tonight's WO was S&H Biceps and Triceps and Body Max Biceps and Triceps followed by a very short Gilad abs segment. My legs were fried from yesterday and even though I wasn't working them today, I sure felt them and felt very fatigued overall. I am going to bed early tonight but I just wanted to pop in and see what ya'll were up to today and wish you a good evening.
