I overslept a bit. I'm off to do Barry's Bootcamp Abs & Arms. Maybe some yoga............be back in a bit.
 
Good Morning Maniacs!!!

No workout this weekend except for coremax 1 I did yesterday. Busy. Went to Lowes and got wall border for the rooms. Dh laughed at me cuz I was on the floor digging like a dog to try to find a roll. I don't care..I will find it. he he. Very happy with what I got....
Livingroom..Americana theme. Kitchen...coffee, welcome..country, etc. Familyroom...ships/map (gonna put up bookshelves next to fireplace..study room) Bathrooms...outhouse and 30ish bathroom country border for other. No curtains yet. Will get them next time. Got some nice pictures for livingroom and a mailbox.

Today working upperbody and plyo's inbetween.

Morning Maniacs -

I ended up doing Barry's Arms & Abs and the non-treadmill cardio - modifying some of it on the rebounder (sciatica flaring). I popped in Sharon's new CIA workout and did a cardio section but I was pretty fried at that point, so I skipped to the cooldown and stretch. Workout was 70" long and I burned 350 calories.

I had a hard time getting thru this workout today. I don't know why, but my whole body was feeling fatigued and I couldn't even get my HR up that high for the cardio. Don't quite know why I'm like this. Doesn't make sense, as I haven't lifted since Friday. Actually, Friday's Total Body workout is doing all body weight exercises (which I did) and per my doctor, I'm not really supposed to do body weight exercises like tricep dips and pushups, but I usually do them, only not in the quantity we did them on Friday! My pain from my injury is flaring horribly from that workout. I was miserable all weekend and now today's workout had more pushups and tricep dips, as well as Mountain Climbers and of course, I did them! I guess I'm hard headed.

Toasty - did you read the thread from yesterday? There was a BPAL update with April Fool's Limiteds and Monster Bait limiteds, as well as Milk Moon and it's companion scent.

Have great workouts everyone. I'll be around for a bit. Have a doctor appt later today.
 
This morning I did Cardio Coach #6 with Candace. Had a great workout, I really like this one because there are two challenges with sprints in them. After this I did the ab work from Step Heat.

Workout was 1:11, was in my zone for 46 minutes and burned 386 calories!

Good Morning, today is M&F rotation phase2. I will be doing chest, triceps and abs. I saw a move at bodybuilding.com for crossovers with tubing so I am going to try using something in my gym to put my tubing around for this:) I will do I Max extreme as well.

Charlotte, I remember taking quite a few days off from workouts when we were moving in this house. I shortened tham up as well when we first moved in because I have to have everything in order before I can relax. Cleaned all of the plantation shutters and window sills so they would be dust free. We bought a lot of new stuff too. Got a lot of things to decorate off the internet as well. I bet you are having fun:) Got your pm.

I checked out the bpal site! Thanks, cuz you know I like to be informed even if I don't buy. I have bottles to order next..just my favorite ones. I am done ordering the tals that I wanted...well I still got to get Aprodesia, but that is all. Just ordered Bastet's Laughter and should be getting here anyday now. Everyone here at home just loves it.lol.Smell reminds me of being in a carnival enviroment, which it happens to be right now anyways. I am as high as a kite. So any unique things about Brooklyn? Does she give you kisses,etc?

Yes, that sounds like me too! As soon as I walk in the door..I will be putting up the borders, etc. I will have everything moved in quickly. I am having a ton of fun already and my head was hurting yesterday when hubby asked what pictures I wanted and then said we only had 2 mins to decide. I was pushing slow people out of my way so I could see in the store. I had to hurry. Got a George Washington picture..very antiquish of him by his horse..some other american country primitive pictures with stitchery, etc. Rooster one, flags
 
Morning ladies. I am home and feeling alot better.Still congested and ace is pussy,but definitely better. I laid around and slept most of yesterday. I am going to w/o soon. Not sure what yet...I am not going to overdo me.
I am doing a afternon shift tonite. Trying something new. Mondays 3-9 so i can get a 1/2 a day off...

It is wierd being home here...

Morning Maniacs! Just took Carma for a 3 mile walk. Wanted to go 5 miles, but my Pedometer died and I wasn't sure if I had enough time.

Char- You sound so happy and excited! Don't forget to take cool pictures of the new decorating. I can't wait to see your mailbox!:p

I am happy with this. I am back to normal on most and up on the weanie biceps.
Decided against cardio today. Need to heal sinuses up more.

This month I'm starting a new rotation. I'm doing one of Debbies rotations Muscle Building and Defining Rotation,THANK YOU DEBBIE!
So today I will be doing S&H Chest and ME chest, since I dont have Power Hour. Then I'll be doing Coremax 1. I've done this one before over last summer got great results, Debbie you Rock!

My brother hooked me up with E Harmony for a 3 month subscription since he is the Director. I obviously i'm not meeting good guys at the bar. So we will se what happens. I am just so damn picky and I wish they all had pictures. This is real bad but looks are important to me:)

I finished my workout. Need to get a couple of things done before I go pick up the grandchildren. I did I Max extreme as planned and the M&F phase 2.I finished with Pyramid abs using med ball for some of the moves and the stretch which worked nicely for the weight work I had done. The M&F rotation had a couple of other moves added so took me 43 minutes to complete.
Moves were :
Chest: Barbell bench press 65# 10 reps 3 sets
Incline dumbbell press 35# 8reps 1 set, 30# 10 reps 2 sets
Incline dumbbell flys 25# dumbbells 10 reps 3 sets
Tubing crossover silver 10 reps 3 sets(wrapped tubing over
vkr tower handle
Triceps: close grip bench press 50# 10 reps 1 set, 55# 10reps 2 sets
triceps dips 60# barbell 10 reps 3 sets
Triceps pressdown with Bowflex 80# 10 reps 1 set,90# 10rep
2 sets
Abs: Reverse crunch with 15# medicine ball 15 reps 3 sets
crunch 25# dumbbell 20 reps 3 sets
added kneeling cable crunch with Bowflex 160# 15 reps 3 sets

Debbie, it worked pretty well using the tubing. At first I felt like I was being pulled back but once I got moving it worked. I had to try different tubing at first to figure out what was going to work the best.

I thought I was going to mow but couldn't get the mower started and Puddle kept barking at the lawn mower.

Anne- Yup, working on the doggies today (been getting yucky dogs in lately). I wish I could retire and just be home and not have to work. Maybe in 20 years. Oy! I don't know how you can work all those hours you do. You need more than 1/2 day off! Your daughter can handle it all. Geez, if she can eat all she wants and stay skinny, she can take over...it's only fair.:D}(

Randi-I hope you meet some nice guys with E-Harmony. Can't imagine finding many decent guys at the bars. Least I've never seen one. LOL!

Peeps!

This morning I did CC#6 (I know that surprises you) on the bike this time - on the trainer. What a great workout. I need to write a new program on my computer though to make some of the hills a little tougher. But the sprints were killer. It was a tough workout overall and my legs were screamin' at the end. Jeanette was right - I think this will get me in better cycling shape than Spinervals. I had Fox News on the tv for viewing only and I don't think I looked at it more than once. That's what a great workout this is! Today was supposed to be steady state cardio, as I have weights tonight, but I figured I would take advantage of no migraine this morning b/c I just never know what each day will bring lately.

Yesterday I weighed 135. Woo hoo! I can't even tell you when I last weighed that. In all my Mexico pics on my picture trail I weigh 141.

This whole stolen Visa thing is just a mess. I went to my credit union for some more info on "the next step" (i.e., how do I make sure I don't get stuck with all of these fraudulent charges) and they just had no idea how to help me. All they could do was give me the number for Visa Lost/Stolen Cards. Can you believe it? Sheeesh! Such great customer service. Luckily the gal I talked with at Visa was much more helpful.

Well, back to work. Such a crazy day!

I found out about it through a local radio station. They had the person that started the site on to talk about it. It's controversial because you turn in a profile and you have to rate at least an '8' (out of 10) in looks (must be fit and attractive) before you are accepted on to the site. Even the guy that started it was voted on. It's voted on by people who are already members. It's a popular idea that has expanded to other countries and they are planning a "baby boomer" site with fit people in their 40s and 50s seeking other fit people.

The DJs on the radio show had some great follow-up marketing ideas, like a tee shirt that says "I made it onto hotenough.org!" or "I was rejected by hotenough.org!" LOL! or registering the domain name...not hot enough.org. LOL! :)

I am not on this site (happily married, thank you!) and I am not endorsing it in any way....but it does peak one's curiosity!

Tonight's WO was S & H Back, BMax 2 Back, Low Impact Step and Abs, repeating abs twice. This was a good WO and I had more energy than usual tonight. I am enjoying week four of this rotation but I must admit my enthusiasm really took a nosedive on week three so I am glad to have my mental focus back. I am thinking of doing Deb's Get Ready for Summer rotation next. Then, like it or not, I've got to do something focusing on lower body...no more avoiding it!

Deb-I think I read somewhere that you had a few rotations in the works. Doesn't matter to me about when you have time to get them out (I have plenty to work with of what is already out there)-no pressure at all-I was just wondering what type of rotations you are cooking up if you don't mind me asking.

Diane Sue-I love bodybuilding.com. I get on there and somehow an hour goes by just searching all the content. Have you tried any of the rotations on that site?

Suz-I pm'd you back over the weekend but you may not have seen it. That is so awesome about your weight loss! You will not need 10 weeks to make your goal at that rate! Sorry about all the cc troubles...very fustrating!

Tonight I did weights - upper and lower body, but I'm not doing too much for lower as cycling nears - just did squats, leg extensions and leg curls. I made talapia - YUK - it was really fishy. I don't remember it being THAT fishy. I also made sweet potatoes (one for the birdies - the love 'em).

Dallys - No silly - I didn't start at 141. I was starting at 140, but then when I actually started I think I was at 138 accidentally because over the last couple of weeks before I started it I had been really watching it and lost a couple of pounds. I WISH I lost 6 pounds in one week!

Randi - I think looks are kind of important too. I mean, if you can't stand to look at the guy... :p
