Today I did LIS Athletic Training.

Ok ladies, maybe not Debbie, you are not 50 yet, but since turning 50 I have a little bit of stomach I need to get rid of, any thoughts, should i cut out carbs? I do notice some days i am low on calories, could be that any suggestions

Roselyn, I think we all have different needs. I am 62, it doesn't take much to get a little fluff across the abdominal area. I can usually see ab definition. My husband made comment on my ab definition recently, I am a little surprised because I have been eating a lot more fats than I have ever eaten (healthy fats). I am not wanting to sound like I am bragging. Sometimes the area is more defined than others. Too many starchy carbs and particularly sugars, most types including fructose, some are better than others. Dairy is another thing I have had a battle with so, I use more coconut and almond milk (unsweetened). Too much sodium will make a difference and it usually takes me 2-3 days to make up for all of the fluid retention. I work my abs a lot which may help but diet is one of the main things. Maybe someone else will have ideas. I wish I could offer an exact formula but I really don't know for sure what that would be. Most fitness competitors have great abs. They generally are very strict with their eating to do that. I don't think health wise we could live with that all of the time. I still will have cheat times too.
 
Hi everyone! Today is my rest week but I got up today and did Run Fit. I had a great workout and may do one more day of something and then take the rest of the week off. My body needs it.

Workout today was 52 minutes, I ran 3.4 miles and burned about 353 calories.

Roselyn - I do have a little fluff in my abs area that seems to not want to budge. It's very irritating!!!
