Hardcore Fitness Maniacs for May 2015

Today I did STS disc 2, meso 1, week 1, 56 minutes and added the extended stretch. I took my 4 and 7 year old grandchildren to the park for lunch and play. We walked some trails and they raced back to the play area :D
 
Today was supposed to be Body Beast - Tempo: Shoulders, but since there isn't such a thing, I did Cathe's Slow & Heavy Shoulders. It was pretty good and I really felt it. I know I'll be sore. I've been sore all week so the slow and heavy style is working, I just get bored with it too fast. Had a great workout. I also walked 1 mile on my treadmill.

Diane Sue - I thought you meant there was a Body Beast undulated rotation. I didn't know you meant a Cathe rotation.
 
Debbie, maybe you could put together an undulating program using BB and some other workouts. You have the total body, build, bulk and maybe the Lucky 7 workouts that could be blended with something else that might have a bit more endurance to it? Lighter weight days with it? I went and checked to see if they even had a hybrid program but did not see one.
 
Today was cardio with the choice of Cycle Max or Low Impact Challenge. I changed it up a bit and did Ripped with Hiit Low Impact Hiit 1 scrambled 1&2 mix, 29 minutes, 192 calories and Cycle Max Express premix 41 minutes, 9 miles, 288 calories. I finished off with Butts and Guts bonus stability ball abs, 16 minutes, 56 calories. Total time was 6 minutes and calories d 536.

This morning I did the P90X Cold Start 12 minutes, 43 calories followed by Low Impact Series Athletic Training 56 minutes. I then went on to do P90X3 Dynamix, 30 minutes, 135 calories. Total time was 98 minutes and calories burned 553.

Debbie, I was reading some posts at Beach Body about a BB sequel. Something about an announcement at the summit in July

No workout. I did do some yoga though. Just to loosen up a bit. I ordered Kelly Coffey's Lean Circuits today with a gift card I got for mother's day. I will get the other new one later.
 
Today I switched up the schedule a bit and did STS disc 26 Meso 3, week 1, Plyo legs, 46 minutes, 290 calories.Since I may only be aboe t goet my workouts in in 5 days instead of the 6 day schedule I will make up a bit with cardio on the weight days so I did Low Impact Circuit Cardio Blast timesave, 48 minutes, 350 calories. Total time was 94 minutes and calories burned 640. I was scheduled for chest and back but have had a severe headache and shoulder and neck pain for several days and it is getting worse so I switched to legs. More stretching today again for the area. I swear every time I quit using the TRX Flow and Mobility work that the pain comes back. I have my 1r old and 7 year old that will be staying with us for 8 days so am not sure how the workouts will be done. The baby will be sleeping in the workout room. I think anyway. Itthe quietest spot in the house. My granddaughter spent her own money on a workout challenge book she wants to do with me :) So I will need to try to figure that into things. It may have to mainly be a yoga week time allows.
 
I actually did workout yesterday, I just forgot to post it I did Body Beast - Bulk: Chest. Had a great workout. This is my last week of Body Beast Lean Rotation. :(

Today I did Bulk Shoulders and had another great workout. Walked on my treadmill for 1 mile.

I'm thinking of doing the STS rotation after my break next week. We'll see. I'm going to miss Body Beast.

Diane Sue - That is good news about Body Beast. I'll definitely buy it!!!

Today I still feel some of the neck pain and headache so I altered the workout again. I started with yesterday's planned Chest an Back meso 3 disc 25 week 1 but only did the warm up 2xfollowed by the 4 sets of bench press and barbell rows, I followed this with Kelly Coffey Muscle Up Arms and bonus abs doing the arms 2x since this is not a real long workout. It does 8 reps in supersets of biceps, triceps. I finished off with Kelly Coffey Athletic Conditioning Stretch, 25 minutes. My workout was 89 minutes and calories burned 292. Not much but I did get in a good workout. I need to be careful of the band work in a lot of Cathe's workouts. I think the band work and pull ups the last two weeks have precipitated the neck pain returning.
I know those moves bother but, once in awhile I get away with it :confused:
 
Today I did the Low Impact series Slide and Glide, 52 minutes, 269 calories followed by Piyo Sweat, 35 minutes, 153 calories. 87 minutes, 422 calories. I also did a lot of foam rolling and therapy ball stuff warming up and added stretch but did not figure that in. It really is my whole trap area that is sore. I tend to carry lots of tension in that area most of the time.

No workout for me yesterday, I had to be at work at the butt crack of dawn again.

Today I did Body Beast - Bulk: Back. Had another great workout. Tomorrow is my last workout of BB for a while, :(

I also got on my treadmill and walked a mile.
 
Today I did P90X3 Cold Start 12 minutes, 43 calories to warm up good followed by 30 minutes to fitness Kelly Coffey Muscle Up workout one , Back, Chest, and Shoulders to make up for the lacking Sts workout earlier this week. This was all 3 sets of e superset with 8 reps.. 30 minutes, 110 calories I then did Low Impact series Cardio Supersets Extreme, 64 minutes, 450 calories. Total time was 1 hr 58 minutes and calories burned 602. Tomorrow I will get in Low Impact Challenge or a spin bike ride and some core work. Then I will have to see how things go next week with the grandchildren.
 
Today I did Body Beast - Bulk: Arms. Last workout of this rotation and I am really sad about it. I loved it. I hope they make a new series with new exercises. I will buy it as soon as it hits the market!! I also walked/jogged one 1 miles.

My weight loss during this program was incredible. I started out at 144# and I am now down to 129.6# as of this morning. I haven't been under 135# in forever. I feel great and I am taking an active rest week next week. I will probably just do some treadmill workouts and no lifting.

Today I did Low Impact Challenge minus the stretch, 48 minutes, 304 calories. I then did Two thx solid step, step tabata, and core with upper body focus, and stretch 26 minutes, 158 calories. I finished with Ripped with Hiit Abs 1, 10 minutes, 40 calories. Total time was 84 minutes and calories burned 502.

Debbie, that awesome results :D I am happy for you.
 
still on bb rotation, got a week to go, my sickness stalled me. Today I did T25 speed 3.0.

Amazing results Debbie!, did you do anything with diet too?
 
I managed to get in Kelly's 30 minutes to Fitness Lean Body Circuit workout #2. 30 minutes, 203 calories. When it came yesterday I previewed and workout 2 didn't have all of the overhead weight stuff that workout #1 did. The only one was the clean and press. I used 15 lbs for the whole workout but think some of it I could have went a little heavier. I liked this. Kelly did a weight segment that and hit lower and upper then a cardio blast and a boxing section then back to weights throughout. I really didn't expect to get much if anything in. I figure once I get used to the grandbaby's routine I can work it in a bit.
