Morning Maniacs -

I'm getting ready to go do High Step Challenge and maybe some additional cardio and yoga. I want to try some more of my Hip Hop Abs. I have lots to do this morning so I'm not sure when I'll be back, but I'll be back later.

Toasty - I wore Saw Scaled Viper yesterday and I need more! It's great. I love cinnamon and cardamom though....spicy and sexy. What's The Secret?

Meg - Got your PM. I think those tapes work you much differently than traditional leg work, etc. A lot of woman who bulk from weights do Lotte Berk/Bar Method work and ballet for their legs exclusively. I forgot, I also have The Bar Method - Fat Free. You can also look at the reviews on Amazon for Lotte Berk and The Bar Method. I did just the blast segment from a Lotte Berk (only availble on the DVDs) and it was only 10 minutes long but I felt it in my lower abs and butt the next day. I think they are good to do when you want to change things up a bit. Read over the reviews at Amazon and let me know.

Good Morning Maniacs!!!

Today is P90X Leg/back work and ab rippppppeerrrrrr x too. Not sure I will get in a bonus or not. I have a pampered chef party to go to tonight. Not much into cooking anymore as we eat plain, but I will go just to visit a neighbor friend of mine that I haven't seen in awhile and chill with the ladies.

The Secret..check out the open discussion forum..post THE SECRET IS OUT and it has information. Basically alot of positive thinking, about your own energy and in ways you can use these things to make great gains in your life..at least that is what I got SO FAR from this. You can get the book or dvd. I want to get back into reading again so I got the book.

You and your Avon. Oy! You make me laugh. I know it gets on your nerves to do deliveries in nasty weather. I feel for ya. Don't like this kinda cold either. Girl, hope you are dressed like a Eskimo.

Good morning, today is the Muscle & Fitness Hers rotation last day of phase 1 and some cardio. I am getting a later start than I wanted too since there is a lot to do. I have been having a hard time getting my computer to work right in the mornings:(

Lora, it sounds like you have a good workout planned. So are you liking the Hip Hop workouts? I looked at them but thought they just didn't have much of an attraction for me. I am curious though. Sometimes things are better than they look. Maybe it is the presentation. How is your heel? I have plantar fascitis that flares sometimes and it hurts in my heel down through the center of my foot.

Debbie, that is to cold to be out delivering Avon. You are a good representative. I would be calling people and saying when the weather warms up I will come out :7

Charlotte, enjoy the legs and ab ripper. I think I gained some strength the month I did P90X as I have been able to up a few things:)

Morning Everyone,

I ended up doing Cathe's High Step Challenge and then I added on a some Firewalkers (also tried doing them walking forward and backwards also (for the heck of it) and a set of speed skaters using my gliding discs. I also did about 25-30 minutes of Hip Hop Abs Fat Burning Cardio 2 (Advanced Level) and then I did Yoga for Athetes with Kim Fowler. My workout (before the yoga) was 1 hour and 50 minutes and I burned 630 calories. The yoga session was 55" and felt great.

Diane Sue - My foot is still hurting. It hurts along the inside of the arch into the inside part of the heel. Still not sure what it's from, but I actually quit my cardio sooner than I wanted to because of it. I do think I also have plantar fasciitis (also have arthritis in my feet per the foot doctor). It feels like it has a spasm in it (I can feel it when I roll it out on the foot roller).

Yes, I'm enjoying Hip Hop Abs very much. I think it is much better than it looks. When I previewed it, I was feeling a bit disappointed cuz I really thought I wasn't going to like it and wasn't sure it would get my HR up...but when I actually did it, I had fun and really liked it. If you put a lot of movement into it and follow Sean with some of the higher impact moves (as they have a person doing lower impact like in Turbo Jam), you can really get your HR up. The only way I can explain it is like taking some of the moves from kickboxing and funking them up to work your abs. Like doing funky kicks and contracting your abs and doing knee ups (funky while contracting your abs). Then they have their own "signature" moves and sometimes you look like your dancing like they do in those hip hop videos. They do a move that is like the "Housing It" move in Turbo Jam. All of these moves really do feel like you're working your abs and dancing. The music is a hip hop like sound track and I did notice the "Dontcha Wish Your Girlfriend was Hot Like Me" song by the Pussy Cat Dolls in the cardio DVD from yesterday. He also does some higher impact stuff in the advanced one, funky jumping jacks, plyo like moves, etc. His personality is really fun also.

Meg - Ths Yoga forAthletes DVD that I just recently bought is really good. My case arrived smashed - therefore, they are supposed to be sending me a replacement. When I receive it (if they really send me one), I think you might like to have this one.

Amber - So glad the package arrived before your vacation. I can't even remember which ones I gave you.

Tryed to take off to the post office with flat tire. Just got new tires in December for this car. Didn't realize it was flat at first. Sucks. Got 4 other cars I can drive though;-) so I will try again.

Morning Maniacs! It's a rest day for me, but hopefully if the weather and work and the stars and moon all align, I'll get in a good walk with the dog. Ebay is so fun!!! It's like a strategy game. I bought this purse the other day..a real hard to find discontined Banana Rupublic bag. It's getting so rare that it's going for $150 to $200 bucks. Anyways I lucked out and got it for $79. Caught a first time seller at the right time. Now, I have people emailing me, "I want that bag"! It's hilarious! I'm like, Oh so sorry, it's not for sale. LOL!

Lora- That hip hop sounds fun! I'm still on the fence about it. I have hardly used my new Turbos. If anything it would teach some dance moves to this ole fogie. LOL!

Debbie- Rest day for me to, but it'll be in the upper 40's here.:p

Char- You'll have to tell me how "the Sercret" is. It sounded like the same ole, same ole, to me on Oprah. But you never know. Keep me posted.

Diane Sue- What's up with the computer? I hate when the don't work right!

Ebay can be like a game of chess when it comes right down to it. Last night I was bidding and wondering if a sniper was gonna come along and grab it at last second so I bid up item to ridiculous amount CUZ IT IS MINE! I am thinking...wth am I doing??? Best thing was there was no one still bidding and I got it at a good price. When I got that book, The Secret, I just went to advanced mode...hit only Buy It Now options and got the price I wanted to pay while other people were bidding up same item sky high. lol. Sometimes when you got something up there that is so unique, it is quite difficult to win it unless you don't mind paying big bucks. I will let you know how the book is though. I am just curious. Got to know, ya know? Probably already know the secret and I just don't know it and somebody should pay me. he he.

Just took my parents to the airport to go to Pasadena CA, to see my brother, wife and baby. Yeah I get the house to myself! I posted last night that I went to the gym and did legs but i'm not that sore:( So I might do cardio today legs and abs or would it be bad to do legs twice?

I get my BC/ME workout today it said it is out for delivery!
Lora How do you workout so long?! YOu have so much energy! Where do you get the hip hop workouts?

I got the house to myself too!!!! YEAH! FIL just left for most of the day! I can workout in private..I can grit my teeth and let my eyes roll back in my head if I want and not care if anyone sees me. lol. I can scream too or communicate with the animals like never before. LMAO! Just kidding, but not really. ;-) :eek: :+ :p

I don't know how Lora can burn a 1000 calories, etc. That is scary. I bet she is getting very buff from it all.

I ended up doing LIC Lower body premix and LOw Max 1st 5 intervals and LIC abs.

Char isnt so nice to have peacefulness when you're by yourself when you workout. I cranked up the music and made as much noise as I wanted to!

I just finished up warming up before I get into my workout. Took FIL's poodles outside and one of them took off..could not find her for about 5 mins. Then she appears and then I have to chase her around the house 4 times before I got her. lol. They are still shy around me. The others would not go do their business outside..so I now I got to try again soon. Oh, this is gonna be something when FIL is gone for half the month. Have to get them on leashes then.

Yes, he is leaving them with me, but yes, he is just gone for today. I don't really mind the dogs. Really. They are afraid of everything and everyone..only problem I am having.

Another busy day today, here is what I did today.

Power Max, all 64 min. of it. It was a great cardio!

Tonight will do Yoga for an hour.
