Morning Maniacs -

This morning I did Pick Your Level - Fat to Firm with Michelle Dozois. This was a weight/cardio circuit workout and since I'm being careful with my foot, the cardio wasn't that intense. I also didn't feel like I got that good of a workout so I added on the tubing segment of Mindy's All ABout Arms. Workout was 67" long and I only burned 290 calories.

No time for yoga this morning as I have to clean. I'll be back later.

Good Morning, today I did Amy Bento's Hi/Lo Extreme for the first time, I stopped at the stretch and went to the all interval premix and skipping the w/up did all of it w/ stretch. I really liked this workout. Not dancy anc was fun. I am going to go back and do abs and yoga. I thought I was going to be taking grandchildren to school this morning but that has changed. BBL

Good Morning Maniacs!!!

So I didn't do Cardio Coach yesterday. Energy level was not there in all honesty. Gonna just work my legs with weights today since yesterday I rested. lol. I want alittle more leg work as I feel my legs are not getting enough just walking around so much at work. lol
 
I just finished my ab work and have Rainbeau Mars Dawn Yoga loaded up:) For abs I did Bosu Blast abs adding a little more weight, then Ab Ripper X using a 10# med ball for v up rollups and leg climbs, and 5# for mason twists. I need to run to the store for Excedrin:( Hoping the yoga helps.

Charlotte, I hope you get your picture in Oxygen magazine. Fingers crossed for you:)

Hi Ladies!

Whew! I've been BUSY today at work! But I'm hoping that I don't have to come in tomorrow now. I rode 30 miles with DH and our two friends. It was sooooooooooooooooo windy. Our one friend was just diagnosed with exercise-induced asthma. He's normally SUPER fast. Today he REALLY struggled. Moreso than I did. This was the first time I had ridden with someone who experiences what I experience in the wind - someone who is usually so much stronger than I am. I felt really bad for him but at the same time for once in my life I felt like it's not all in my head b/c I saw somebody else struggle through it too. It was awful.

I had my neurologist appt. today. He was NOT pleased with my weight loss again. I've lost 8 pounds since I saw him last - 3 months ago. But I tried to explain to him that I've been steady since the beginning of June(actually the end of June, but...). I told him I'm doing a lot of cycling and I'm not trying to lose any more. He was just writing as I was blabbering. I honestly don't get it. You think they would be happy you are healthy and taking care of yourself. Now I have to go back in a month instead of 3. Because I'm getting more migraines though, not b/c of my weight - surely. He scheduled a cat scan which I don't need b/c my migraines are hereditary and if it was anything serious I'd be dead by now. :p

Diane Sue - I'm so sorry you are still fighting that headache/migraine. I hope the Excedrin works.

Char - Fingers crossed for you!!!

Okay, back to work so I don't have to work much tomorrow. Tonight is the PD's new (potential) hire physical fitness test. I like to go help to see how many sit ups those guys can do. I think having a girl hold their feet makes them do more and hopefully pass! :)

Suz, it is probably good that your doctor wants to rule out anything else. I had a CAT Scan once for my headaches too. Sorry he had problems with your weight loss. I have never had a doctor worry about my weight before. Seems odd to me. I don't think you look underweight in your pictures. Maybe this doctor has dealt with some eating disorders.

Diane Sue - Yeah, I suppose. I don't get what's up with the weight thing. It's him and my regular doctor. And they had a problem with it when I was at the weight in those pics. I'm probably about 4-5 pounds less than those pics now but that's it. Maybe you're right and they've both dealt with eating disorders. Or maybe b/c they've been seeing me for about 8 years and all of a sudden my weight changed. Freaked 'em out. I was going to ask you if your docs ever said anything to you. Maybe I need to flex my muscles so they see I'm not all skin and bones. :p

I had to do my workout for Saturday this evening because my cousin's and I are going to Amish country tomorrow. We are leaving really early so I didn't want to get up at 5:30 to workout. I don't care for working out so late, but I had an excellent workout anyways.

[font color=blue]***I tried using a rope at the end of my bar for these. Almost cut my hands in half with the first set! Went back to using a towel.[/font]

Pullovers:
30# - 15 reps
35# - 12 reps
40# - 2 sets/10 reps

Barbell Press:
55# - 10 reps
60# - 8/7/7 reps

Wide Grip Upright Rows:
55# - 10/10 reps

Single Arm Lateral Raise:
12# - 3 sets/8 reps
[font color=blue]***These are humbling. The left side of my low back felt not so good doing these. I have a really tight muscle that runs down that side and gives me grief every now and again. I could really feel it when I was working my right arm. Not sure I will keep doing these but I really liked how it isolated my shoulders.[/font]

115# - 12 reps
125# - 8 reps
Drop sets (no rest except to change the plates):
