Morning Fit Ladies-
I'm just getting going here. I'm going to do LIC Total Body and then add ons for Legs from Legs & Glutes & Mindy's All About Legs. I'll be back.
Diane Sue - I wanted to answer you regarding the Gliding Discs. I have the ones for carpet and they work beautifully. I really like them. I've been adding them into my leg routine lately. At first, I got sore but now I'm getting used to them. The good thing about them is that you can get lower into the movement making it harder. There are only a few workouts that come with them....so you don't have tons of options. The cardio that comes with them is for beginner to advanced. Mindy shows various options and has one person doing advanced, one in between and one low impact. Your HR doesn't climb sky high like in other aerobics, but mine seems to stay moderately elevated. She does cardio on the floor and then segments of leg work with a cardio factor called "strength sets" in between the floor cardio. Sometimes, I just put music on and keep doing the aerobic glide (you'll learn that) and just keep going until I feel like quitting. I've yet to find a Gliding DVD that does a ton of aerobic gliding and does it quickly. However, that being said, in previewing one of my DVDs that I haven't done yet, I noticed she did a lot more of that.....so I'll have to break that one out soon. I hope this helps. Also, yes, the Gliding Discs work wonderfully for the TLT's and they're are even a few spots in P90 X where he uses the paper plates and you can use your discs.
I'm going to go take my vitamins and get ready to work out.
