Morning Maniacs -

This morning I did David Whitley's Power Circuit workout. I used my 15 thru 30 lb kettlebells for this and I did kickboxing moves during the rest periods. Workout was 62" and I burned 442 calories. Kettlebells and kickbox go well together - someone should make a DVD like that! This had a couple really tough parts. It alternated body weight moves with KB moves and jumping jacks, squat thrusts, Hindu pushups...etc. Two minutes of squat thrusts was tough. I added a couple sets of slingshot catches, suicide lunges and hot potatos to the end of this workout cuz they are some of my favorite moves. I liked this workout....but Extreme KB with Keith Weber still ranks #1 with the AOS ones.

Morning ladies... How are we all. I crappy today. The back is hurting..
I got Cipro from the doctor .... I guess the culture showed an infection...So i am not nuts..
No workout last night. So i am gonna do Pyramids total body tonite..
I am getting a good 5 days in which i am happy with..

Good Morning Maniacs!!!

Today I guess I should rest before I start the new rotation with Debbie, but I do want to work my abs really good. I did lose half a pound. Oooh la la (being sarcastic). My legs are fried from all the leg work this week. Can't do much with them today so might as well rest. Going over to fitday and making sure I am targeted for right amount of cals for a non workout day. All I wanna do is get back to 118 and lose 1% body fat. So far my body fat is 15.2% and bmi is 18.4% (BMI is good..like that) I want body fat to be 14.2% instead though which will bring BMI down too (oh, well).

I knew your birthday was this month, but I didn't know the day. I am sorry I missed it. What did you do on your birthday? Did you eat any chocolate cake???? Your doing good with your workouts. And in the late evening!!!!
 
I had to do a short workout this morning. We are getting ready to go to our granddaughters play in a few minutes. My workout was Kelly Coffey's Cardio Sculpt Fitness Cardio premix with the abs. We have lots to do today since dh is off work. I will probably get my Total Body workout in tomorrow.

Anne, our anniversary was yesterday. Married 35 years:) Now maybe you can get to feeling better.

Randi, we had a nice time yesterday. Went to a retirement party for our Son in Laws Dad, and out to dinner. Later we went and got ice cream:)

I need more sleep. I am getting about 7.5 hours, but I am just so tired when it's time to get up. I think Debbie's making me work to hard! LOL! Anyway this morning was two straights sets of 15 with a two minute rest.

I have the Omrom body fat device. It can be accurate if you take measurement when you first wake up and empty bladder and you take the measurements like this daily so you know about where you are cuz sometimes it can be off like when you get close to TTOM, etc. The lowest mine was ever was 12.9%. I wouldn't want to get any lower then that anyhow.

Linda & Sandy: I am so very proud of you both with your workouts. I get a huge smile on my face everytime I see your accomplishments. Especially with the pullups! You are both doing so well with them. Seeing your progress makes me very proud!

Teddygirl - How old are you? You cannot be 92!!!

You guys, my husband gave me some awesome stuff for my birthday. ALL WORKOUT STUFF:

A straight bar. I've been looking for another one for months now. No one has any that are shorter 7'. What the heck do you need a 7' straight bar for?? Good God. He found a 5' one at Wal Mart. It's solid and it's awesome! So now when I do my supersets and need two straight bars, I have them.

The Perfect Pushup!!!! I finally have them!!! And can't wait to use them!!

Two workout outfits and they are both so cute! I love them!

A gift card from Dicks. I can add this one and the one I got for Christmas and I almost have enough money to get a leg press machine I want. Woo hoo! Hopefully I'll be able to order it at the end of April.

We're going out to lunch today!

He's a keeper, thats for sure!!!

Charlotte - Yeah, take you a rest day before you get started on your rotation! You'll love it I'm sure! 1/2 lb, I'll take that!

Linda - Woman, you are doing great on this rotation, I think we're doing the same one. It looks familiar. I'm gonna get all my sheets and see how I've come along on my lifting. I know I'm stronger that's for sure!

Debbie - Thanks so much, it's great to have a place to come where the women support each other and not compete with. I love it! I get so inspired here and I really can't thank you enough for the rotations and advice. Glad we're putting a smile on your face. Have you ever thought about competing??? I've got the Oxygen Mag with you in that one. Sounds like you had a GREAT birthday. I want a leg press too!

At least i know it is not the heavier weights giving me issues..
I need to w/o tonite.. One way or the other. May not happen till 8 pm, but i can handle an hour..

Sandy - Glad I can help you. No, I have no desire to compete. I just do this to be in the best physical condition I can be in and I do it for fun. When it becomes a job, which I think a competition would do, then I just won't enjoy it anymore.

It probably feels like Christmas and then some! That is great you are getting all that. Would love to have that leg press machine...your gonna really be able to take off using that machine, as if you haven't already, but now it will be even sweeter!

I have been EXTREMELY busy today, haven’t had my lunch yet, super duper busy day, TGIF…………………:)

This morning, I did a 30 min jog and S&H tri’s & bi’s. I’m going over my son David tomorrow, I’ll check in there.

I forgot to mention I got my new Amy Bento today plus she sent me her In The Ring soundtrack. Hopefully I’ll get the chances to preview them. Have a great day all

Debbie - Happy to hear we are doing you proud! If I was disappointing you I don't know what I'd do, because there ain't no way in h*** I could possibly increase my weights any faster! LOL! Sounds like you had an awesome birthday! I am so jealous of the new toys! But now what am I going to do when you have leg presses in your rotations??? LOL!

Sandy - Hey you are doing great with your weights as well! I surprised myself the other day when I found that I had increased my weight by 25# for close grip presses. Which rotation are you doing right now? Is it the first 8 week one or the second one?

Anne - At least it must be nice to know you don't have an injury! Hope everything else gets cleared up for you soon! Oh and how creepy to work on a dead person!

It has been a crazy busy day today. I still have a lot to do. Just taking a break. We went to Panera Bread with our dd and her husband after our granddaughter's play. Then have been clearing out our trailer and storing things. I got my two new Amy Bento dvd's. Hopefully I can do them this weekend.

Linda, I eat ice cream occaisionally but it is usually lowfat and sugar free. I did go all out last night and had a mix with heath in it LOL I figured I could do it as breakfast was unsweetened applesauce and protein powder, I had no lunch and dinner was grilled chicken salad with a tiny bit of vinegrette on it. Oops, I forgot I had a piece of keylime pie with the salad. I think a splurge once in awhile is ok. I am doing pretty well today dispite the fact we went to Panera bread. That was breakfast and lunch though. Need to find something soon for dinner. We have been to busy to eat.

Debbie love the leg press, I just showed my hubby because he's been looking at one that costs around ummmmmm...1000+, after seeing this one he likes it and really likes the price!!! We're gonna look around this weekend!

I get ya on doing something you enjoy as a hobby and then doing it as a job, not as enjoyable then.
