Hardcore Fitness Maniacs for Finally Friday March 14

Morning Maniacs -

This morning I did Steve Cotter's Extreme KB - Cardio KB Circuit and Cardio KB followed by Abs and Core and Goddess stretch. Workout was 70" and I burned 463 calories. This was not as hard as the KB beach workout with Keith Weber which is still my fave. My HR only stayed low to moderate and it wasn't that tough....however, I only used my 15-20 lb KB's mostly and only used the 25 once. This had a lot of Windmills, Turkish Get Up's and squats with arm locked overhead ....all of which require me to use lighter weights due to shoulder issues.

I'm going to have to stop wearing my HRM for KB workouts, as the KB's clank on the monitor and I'm afraid it's going to break it and I don't have money for another one.

I'm so freakin tired this week. Must try to get to bed earlier. I've only been getting 4 hours and 15" sleep a night for a long time now. It's starting to "get" me.....but it's also TTOTM...so I'm sure that's not helping.

Good Morning Maniacs!!!

Didn't do my workout yesterday. Felt like 100 year old woman. Oh, woe is me! Gonna try to find some energy somehow and do it today. So far, from doing the X workouts, my upperback is more defined and arms are said to look larger and more defined, by hubby. Only problemo is abs and lower back don't look as defined as last year...I have more work to do in kitchen (stop snacking on chocs.. and I need to dance more. lol.

So with all that fussing said, I am gonna do Upperbody Plus and ab work today. I need to get mad or something before I do pullups. I HAVE TO DO AT LEAST 12! AT LEAST!!!!! HOLLER AT ME!

I would be tired as hell if I only slept 4 hours and 15 mins plus all the workouts and TTOM. I believe we are hard on ourselves, no? lol.
Well I sold off my Glowing Vulva and Sugar Moon. Sugar Moon is not bad, but was not a big hit for me.

I'll be back later to chat more.

Did BC from 4DS. I have an incredibly busy day today so I won't be on much. I'm actually in a bit of a rush right now. Just wanted to check in.

It is DONE!!!! This was tha last day of this rotation, have no idea what I am going to do next week, I do know that it WILL NOT involve heavy weights! Today was done in supersets of three sets of 12 with a 1:30" rests.

Chest/back
Flat Barbell Press
12/12/12 - 93# (up 3#)
Pullovers
12/12/12 - 48# (up 3#)

Quads/Biceps
Bulgarian Split Squats
12/12/12 - 75# (up 5#)
Zottman Curls
12/12/12 - 25# (up 2#)


Triceps/Shoulders
Close Grip Bench Press
12/12/12 - 73# (up 3#)
Front Raises
12/12/12 - 15# (up 3#)

Then did some ab work on my own. Tired of all my Cathe ab workouts.

Anyone - Is there a recommend or required hight for the back leg in Bulgarian Split squats? I am using my high step and was wondering if it matters how many risers I use, I think I might be going to high which is causing me some balance issues.

Lora - Go to sleep! How in the world are you functioning on 4'15". Your certainly not getting sufficient rest to recover from you workouts. I need at least seven and most the time that doesn't feel like enough, sometimes eight isn't even enough.

Char - I hope you fell better soon but since you asked for it here it is .... LISTEN TO ME MISSY! I WANT YOU TO GO DOWN TO THAT BASEMENT RIGHT NOW AND GIVE ME 12 PULLUPS! NO, NOT 10, NOT 11, I WANT 12 AND I WANT THEM NOW! (how was that?)

I am still waiting for the cable guy.No internet at all this morning. Networking is still not working no matter what I do:( My new grandbaby is coming for a little while:D This mornings workout was Amy's Hi/Lo Dome. I did all the hi low then did the interval premix. I followed with the dome workout. I then did Tracey's Glute Camp standing lower, and then Body Max 2 upper body, abs and stretch. Finished with Tracey's Parts Series yoga and stretch segments.

Linda WOW on your weights! I'm not even sure myself on the Balgarian squats, I use my weight bench which I think maybe too high as well. So, what cha gonna do now? Did you see my post from last night? It was late. How are you doing with your sweets, good for on bypassing the peanut butter M&M's you can do it, you have to find the strenght within, same for me too!!!

Sandy - Hey Sandy, I did see your post. Doesn't matter how old they get they are always your babies, aren't they?I am almost 40 and my mom still refers to me as her baby. My kids are doing better today, DS feels better, it's just that his lungs aren't clear. DD is on antibiotics and is much improved! As far as the Bulgarians go, I was using my bench too, which seems to high, but then I got tired of having to move the bench so I switched to the high step with six risers which is the same hight. I just seem to have balance issues with that hight so on the last set this morning I dropped to 4 risers and it felt a lot better, just hoping that's not too low. What am I going to do next? Well, next week I have no idea if I'll take the week off or just do some light stuff, but after that I am restarting the full body rotation, but with a different mix of exercises. The version that Debbie's doing now.
