Hardcore Fitness Maniacs checkin for Mon. 4/23

I can't believe I'm typing this. This hasn't happened to me in YEARS! I set my alarm clock wrong for this morning. I am so pissed! I usually set my alarm clock to go off around 20 after 5. Well, I set it for 20 after 6!! That's when I start my workouts. So now I have to get my workout in after work and I hate hate HATE working out in the afternoon/evenings. I'm already planning to leave work at 3:30 so I can start at 4 and get it done by 5 so I can get dinner ready for Gene.

How irritating this is, not a good start to the day.

Anyways, hope you all have great workouts today!!!
 
Good Morning Maniacs!!

Supersets today and extra ab work. Been sometime. I got the equipment all set up in basement except for stereo system. Dh hooked me up with a new stereo system that is suppose to be dabomb. He has been very busy. Just got mailbox in yesterday afternoon. It is in crooked. lol.

I CANNOT WAIT TO WORKOUT TODAY! I had a hard time sleeping last night..feeling my muscles and wondering if they are going away and then wondering if I am turning to mush. lol

OMG Char, you are not going to mush in a week... Body probably needed a rest. You were lifting boxes, furniture etc..

You are in a new house. Sleeping will be tough for a couple weeks. You will be back on track in no time...

Debbie I hate working out out night too. I feel I don't have as much energy at night. Have a good day at work:)

Anne have a great UB workout. Why are your shins hurting?

I just finished B&G leg blast and ankle weight ab work. I was dying towards the end of the workout. For some reason I think that workout is harder then any of the the other Cathe leg workouts. I was drinched with sweat at the end!

Good Morning todays workout calls for chest and triceps. I will do either treadmill or kickboxing this am as well.

Debbie, I hate when my workout plans are messed up. I also hate working out later in the day. I never feel that motivated later. If it were me I would split the weight workout and add a little more time the next two days. Also on cardio I just do a little more on other days or workout on my rest day. That is how much I hate working out later:)

Morning Maniacs! Didn't get in any workouts this weekend. Had DD here all weekend. DH had bikes all torn apart in the basement and it was just to cold to be outside. How was that for excuses?:p Went with DD and DS to see "Blades of Glory." it was hysterical! LOL! I love those corny type of shows.

Debbie- You're human after all! LOL! I wish I had your discipline for morning workouts. I can only manage do it for a short time. I'm jealous of all you that can get up EVERY morning and get the workout in. I'd use this day as an unscheduled rest day and workout on your rest day.

Diane Sue- So happy to hear that Puddles is still doing good. Sorry, she is destroying things around the house. My dog, for the first time EVER, pooped all over the house when DH and I left her home on one of our bike rides last week (she's never done that before). She was soooo upset that she couldn't go with us, she made herself sick. She goes in the garage next time we have to leave her! She gets uncontrollably happy if she sees the bikes out. We've ceated a monster!

Randi- Good job on the workout! I love that one!

Anne- Sorry you have sore shins! Enjoy whatever workout you do. Have a great morning off work!

Char- Cool dh put a dabomb system in the basement. That will be blasting in no time. I'm sure FIL will hear it down the street! I think that all mailboxes are crooked. LOL! Don't worry about the muscles disappearing. I don't think "mush" happens that fast. I think you are safe.

Randi, i have been running. It was the downhill walk//run i went for at home. The hills here are really steep. Coming down hurt bad. Shins been bothering me since...

I sold a couple dvd's and the one lady won 2. Well, she e-mailed me and got smart over combined shipping. Didn't ask, told me if i won't combine, she wanted them shipped seperately. P'd me off. I always combine, but not with that attitude. So, i will ship them boys seperately....Seperate days too... I usually ship the same day...The one went out 20 min later.
Why are people so rude???

I am done with my workout. I have not done PUB in a while . I used 10-12-15 on chest and 5-8-10 on tri and shoulders 3-5-8 and biceps i almost cried at 8-10-12 back, was 12-15-20 ...
I am still not pushing it on chest work.. My biceps are fried. I think it is so many reps.


Dallys , don't you think the lady was rude??? To pretty much demand combined shipping instead of asking.Then say, well if you don't i want them shipped seperately??? Shouldn't they have done they before they bid? It was timesaver dvd and a beach body workout.

It shows you kindness gets you further and rudeness costs you...

Done with workout except for abs which I will do while dinner is cooking.

I could not find my vcr..damn it! So I just did my own version of supersets. I found it later where dh had put it. x(

Finally got my workout in. Was starting to think I wasn't suppose to workout today though. Got on my treadmill and my MP4 player wouldn't work! Kept saying "disc error". Lovely. I think what happened was I had it sitting close to my cell phone holder and it has magnets on it. I think it wiped out my MP4 player. So hopefully it didn't hurt it. I'll reload it later tonight.

Ended up taking my laptop into my workout room and doing Cardio Coach #6 with Candace. Workout was 58 minutes, was in my zone for 45 min. and burned 344 calories. Travelled 3.38 miles. I hate working out after work. My legs felt like lead, but I surprisingly did great with the workout.

No abs, just didn't feel like it. Maybe tomorrow.
 
I need some TLC. Worked out with snot running down my face. Was determined though not to let a horrid cold get in my way. I am wondering if this is the flu cuz I feel so rotten. I am still rather surprised I did what I did today..just trying to ignore the cold and still do WHAT I WANT. lol. So now I am dragging and my eyes hurt.

So yeah, I am back, but I still got alot going on. Need to find a job this time FOR REAL so I asked at the Vets where dd works and the lady says she doesn't need anymore help, but dd tells me differently so thinking the lady doesn't like me, but I don't care cuz it is her lost..not mine. I work my tail off at whatever I do. I will find something..I hope evenings. So you had a great workout too lead legs lol. I did my abs a few hours ago.

You are just full of funny things. I will not be able to go on ebay for awhile unless I find something to sell..no buying for now. Bought new leather furniture straight from Italy..see in pictures is the darker ones. Hardwood floors and a fence that cost more then both put together. OH MY! I still have custom shades coming..wish they were here by now. Tired of using tacky towels on windows...better yet, I just crawl out of bed into bathroom like a dog. he he. Hurts my knees. I think it excites the dh though. :p

Hey Maniacs! Haven't worked out yet! Been so busy, then had to run a bunch of errands. Spent like an eternity in the Post Office line. Now DH is working out and it'll be awhile. He's a slow worker-outer. LOL!

Char- Quit sneezing on me! If I catch that cold, I'll come over and round house kick ya...I will!

Debbie- The toaster is one of those under-counter kind. They quit making them along time ago, so they are rare and hard to find. DH won't give up his coffee maker space. LOL!

Anne- I was thinking on the Ebay thing. Being the cold and callus person that I am (lol). I'd send them both in a single package and still keep all the shipping money. Like Debbie said "Screw her!"

It has taken awhile to get on here but I did get my workout in this morning. I finally decided on Kickboxing. I started with KPC stopping at the abs, then put in Amy's Kickbox Ex and did the interval premix no w/up or str after the core work I went back and did the abs on KPC paused and did the M&F rotation chest, triceps and abs then KPC stretch.
M&F rotation
Chest- bench press 65# 12 reps 1 set, 60# 15 reps 2 sets
incline dumbbell press 25# dumbbells 15 reps 3 sets
decline press 50# 12 reps 2 sets
incline dumbbell flyes 25# dumbbells 20 reps 2 sets
Triceps- close grip bench press 55# 12 reps 1 set, 50# 12 reps 2 sets
triceps dips 70 # 15 reps 1 set, 20 reps 1 set
triceps pressdown Bowflex 80# 20 reps 2 sets
Abs- reverse crunch 15# medicine ball 15 reps 3 sets
crunch Bowflex 100# 20 reps 3 sets

Dallys, I bet you enjoy the toaster:) DH and I went shopping for an iron recently and he insisted on getting me the 70 dollar one. It is a nice iron though. I like it. I didn't know they sold irons for that much.

Charlotte, sounds like you are getting right in there on the workouts.

Debbie, good for you getting that workout in anyway. I thought most newer devices were not affected by magnets that much. I had a pda case that had a magnet closure. I thought that was odd.

So I switched my workout around and am doing cardio tonight. It's already 7pm and I haven't done it yet. Yuck! I shouldn't have done it that way. Now I don't wanna. But I have to. I'm freezing and the the thought of stripping down to bike shorts makes me go brrrrr....

Off to do an hour of steady state on the bike. :(
