Morning Ladies -

This morning I did Janis Saffell Strike Zone kickbox aerobics. I only had time to do about 50 minutes of it, as I overslept again. It was regular kickboxing with jumping jacks to get the heartrate up for the first 30 minutes and then she goes into strikes and kick drills using paddles and she stops to explain each punch/kick....so I hopped up on the rebounder and jumped, punched and kicked on it for the rest of the workout. Boy, you can really get your heartrate up kicking and punching like this. I had mine in the high 140's and low 150's. I've especially found the harder you press down into the rebounder on the down jump, the higher your heartrate. The rebounder was great for this.

I waited to see the foot doctor for 45 minutes last night before he even got to me! I hate that. Good thing I went, as I have some complications from my toe surgery and my toes are not healing right.....and he had to cut me again! Ouch! Him and those silly plyer/scissor things he uses!!

Where are you maniacs??!!

I did the Extended version of LowMax this morning...I started with the warmup and then started with cycle #7 and worked my way back down to #1...You know, just to change things up a bit. I like doing the extended because the added legwork gives you more BANG for the buck!

Susan is having her little baby now...how exciting!! Times sure does fly doesn't it?

Lora - Glad you could still workout this morning even though the doctor had to do some more cutting....You da woman!!

Hey Everyone,
Today I did 36 minutes on my bike I used the arms about 70% of the time :eek: (8.8miles) Nice and warmed up to do TLT finding your core:D

Lora gosh you and your feet:( So sorry to hear you are having trouble!! Hope they heal quickly!!

Marietta you are just the motivation I need:7 I was so THANKFUL today to see you only went 36 minutes, but I know you do sometimes like to go longer. I am up for the challenge}( I know if I stick with you I am going to be looking GREAT:7

Susan am thinking of you!! I can't wait to hear about the baby:D

Lora, and Dallas today when I did finding your core I had a heck of a time with those glutes things on the ball. I had to take a quick break and get back on the ball:eek:

Diane sue I thought about you today. (now I will always) when I do those over head presses. I TRIED with 10lbs, but had to drop down to 8 lbs?? I will keep trying though!!

I am getting ready to do lowmax and ctx kickbox. Later tonight I have to do a SS workout as I am seriously adicted to these :)

Good afternoon,
Today I did P90X Plyometrics,I Max3 intervals 1-5 & Stretch. I may do X Stretch later today. I am going to go look in couple of stores this afternoon for vacation things, I will take my granddaughter with me.

Nicole, when I start to up weights I keep the original weight handy so I can drop down if I need to. At least if I get a few reps in heavier eventually it will get easier.

Lora, sounds like it was good you saw your doctor. Hope it heals quickly.

Busy day so far, it is payday. It only happens once a month. I have tons of things to do and pay. lol

Lora-Sorry you had to wait at your appointment, I hate that too. Ouch on the cutting again. How can you be jumping on a cut toe??

Hey Nicole...you have more cardio to do. Go back and look at yesterday's post.

I did 10 min of cardio in BootCamp and about 25-30 minutes when I did intervals 6-10 on IMAX2 in addition to my 36 minute run.

I gotta go to ANOTHER meeting...I'll be back

Hey guys...

I have been really busy today...I have sat in meetings for over 3 hours today...uggghhhh!!!

I went for a run at lunch today and it lasted about 36 minutes...same as yesterday. Since I did legs this morning...I skipped strength training, plus I had to get back for a meeting.

Nicole - Sabrina is right...you got some more work to do!! Now for tomorrow, you'll have to do 36 minutes, plus however long the cardio portions of Low Max is. I'm thinking about 30 minutes...what do you think?

Sabrina - Pay day!! Woo-hoo!! I know you have things to pay, but hopefully you get to buy something for YOU. Hope the times flies at work today.

Where is Dallas?? Hope all is well...

Diane Sue - Good workout!! Let us know how the shopping goes...hope you find lots of good stuff!!

Tonight I have to a person that I will be doing some personal training with...Don't worry Nicole, I won't be doing anything (at least I don't plan to). I should still make it home a decent time though...oh, have to get groceries!! Does the madness ever end??

Well I got my 50 min. in:7 The 2nd time around I was a bit slower. (11.5 miles) and I did'nt use the arms as much. Marietta you are a tough coach:7 Tommorrow I plan on doing cardio dvd..... I know I will definitely ride my bike for 36 min., but not sure if I will up it to 30 min. We will see}( I was telling me dh about what happened today LOL the 36 min. ride, having to ride again for the 50 min. He found it amusing:7

Sabrina sorry you are having a ho hum day;( Nice that you can drop in here though :D Are you really enjoying your new job?? Hope so!!

Terri I thought the SS gave my legs a workout, but I am telling ya riding the bike, and having Marietta as a coach is very high rep workout:7

Diane Sue thanks for the tip I will keep both my 8, and 10 lbs near and try and work up to them. I am trying to do this with pushups. I doing the legs, and then go to my knee when it becomes to hard.

I probably have missed everyone by this time. I did get lowmax and ctx kickbox done earlier today. It was actually very doable. No OMG once! I am still struggling with the idea of a SS workout tonight. WHat do you all think if there is any one around.

I actually did some shopping today. I purchased a couple of halters tops and a skirt and a pair of pants to travel in. I didn't like the swimsuits and I need to know what suit before I pick a cover up. Most stores seem to be already out of my size or never got it. I may have to mail order. I have Venus swimwear and Victoria secret swimwear and covers memorized I think. I was out at the stores for 3 hrs.. My granddaughter was so well behaved through it all and offered her advice:)

Terri, Go for it if you have the energy. I usually poop out after 6. If I have it in my mind as a goal I can push through it though. I am not a real good pm exerciser. I am working on it though.

Good Evening everyone!

Whew, it was another busy one! Not a whole lot of computer time. I think my house is back in order, at least for the rest of tonight and tomorrow AM. ha ha! I think I know why Ilike having the parties out of the house.;-)

This morning I did SS -Shape it Up. I was still planning on doing CM #2, but SIP is sooooo long! I feel my quads and my hamstrings again. I like that these workouts get in there good! I went to a Pilates class this evening. I really enjoyed it. I think I covered the core work today in that class. She used this styrofoam roller thing. Boy, when she had us roll our legs over it. I was like, ouwie, wowie! ha ha! How do you spell that?! I'm going to try and do to her class once a week.

My dsister needs some prayers. Her son is fine, but other things in her life are not great. I've spent a lot of time of the phone with her the last two days. :-( My heart is aching for her! Thanks everyone!

Diane Sue ~ I've never ordered from Venus, but I have from VS. How do you like their suits?

Terri ~ How's the January rotation going? Did you get your SS in?! You crazy girl!

Hi Diane Sue and Dallas,

I just finished Tone it up from the SS. I am so glad I did it especially after reading Diane Sue telling me to go for it! I was so happy that I already had :)

Dinae Sue-Ahh I am so envious of your rip but you and DH sure deserve it. So glad you had a good shopping trip!

Dallas-I am liking the rotation. The 90 minute workouts are not that bad really. Not as hard as August cathe rotation that I did. The pilates class sounds fun. I may have to try one. DO you feel good and worked out? How is your foot doing? Yes I got your e-mail and I will reply soon but yes count me in!
