Hi Everyone,

This morning I did TLT Better Burn, Better Buns followed by Yoga in the Garden of Serenity (great yoga/stretch type DVD to do after a stressful workout or work day - from Fitness Organica - for enabling purposes).

I think BBBB is doing something for my legs. They look a "tiny" bit more defined. I think it's great for people who bulk up from traditional lifting, or even just leaning the legs out after a heavier weight rotation.

I'm on my last week of my TLT/aerobic/weight rotation and then I think I'll do a Recovery Week before starting my P90 X or P90 Masters rotation, as I saw someone posted that it is suggested before beginning.

Does anyone know any good rehabilitative moves for your piriformis muscle? My right piriformis has been hurting badly. I think it might be from a lot of plyo - must start modifying a bit this week to help it. I think it's really spasmed too. I don't know if it's my car injury pain flaring up or what. My whole right side where I was injured in the car accident has been flaring lately.

Have great workouts everyone. I'm off to do my weekend soak in epsom salt.

Terri- - How was Brokeback Mountain? We're going to see Annapolis later.

Nicole - I think doing a TLT rotation after a heavier weight rotation would be the perfect thing....so I'll probably do the Firm/TLT 30-day challenge in a few months after I play around with the P90X and Masters Series. We'll have to try to do it together, okay?
 
Diana Sue - Sorry if I asked this before....but I can't remember what you said. First off, what sort of body type do you have and without diet and exercise, where do you store your weight? Also, did you do a specific rotation to get as muscular you are in your upper body? or did you do a combination of things? thanks in advance.

Lora-Do you like the BBBB workout? I have noticed that you have done it several times. What movie did you go see yesterday? Was it any good? DH and I rented Wedding Crashers last night. I thought it was pretty good. There were some very funny parts in it. LOL! Have a nice soak!

I am hosting am open house today from 1-3 for those of you that missed my post yesterday. Should be exciting. I hope I have some people come through, not sure what to do with them if I do though! LOL! My broker is suppose to be there when I get there to explain things to me.

I have to do some running this morning since one son is selling things for school and the other is collecting money for Jump for Heart. Why do they have to do this at the same time?! Ugh.

Yes, BBBB is my favorite and Tracie said it should be used twice a week in a rotation. I love it.

As far as the movie - there's not really anything playing...so we just saw Big Momma's house. It wasn't that good....but I didn't expect much.

Today I am going to run and do a SS workout. My calves however for some reason are killing me from yesterday! This should be fun:)

Tomorrow I start the January rotation.

Dallas and Marietta must be having busy weekends:) I haven't seen neither of them on here.

Hey Everyone,
Today is my challenge day:eek: I am going to do Firm Volume 4, and cardio sculpt blaster for TLT/Firm rotation I have been doing. Dvds that I don't have I just sub with on of Cathes.

Terri YES I think I could be a DDR addict:7 It is fun, and it good cardio, and it does not even seem like it:7 My dd loves it, and she asks me to come do it with her, and I will be ok one song, and then I will end up doing 1 more, and 1 more where it turns into 45minutes haha.

Sabrina hope your showing goes well!! Would'nt it be GREAT if you sold it!!!


Lora I did BBBB yesterday, and I really like that workout the time just Flew :D Since doing the TLT's I can really feel my core is getting stronger!! I am looking forward to the end of this rotation to see what the outcome is?? I am going to stick with this one:D So far I really like them all. Don't know which one I can call favorite yet, but so far I say maybe Jens?????

Terri the more I do these the more I like them!! I think you may to?? ha ha. }( They work my legs in a good way, and my legs are not bulking up from these ??? (I think they be looking better) Wish I had the time to squeeze in SS, but I really want to see what these are able to do for me on there own???? Maybe this is hopeful thinking, but my abs are looking flater:7 I will keep you posted. Btw Tracies is wearing your shoes in these dvds:D

Ok Nicole _ are you going to get me addicted to yet another set of dvd's? :) So far I have refrained from buying them! Oh don't you love those shoes? I do but then again I love pink! You should get some :) Are these workouts considered cardio at all? Or are they like SS which I really do not consider cardio. Anyway I am glad you are liking them.

Great now I want that one! Nicole and Lora you both got me addicted to freestyle for lower body and I love SS and will never go heavy for lower body again. I so do not want to buy more dvd's right now but lora had to say that! :)

Terri I heard College video will be carrying these soon :) I think you will like them. They really work you, but in a different way:D I think you will really like the leg work in these. I am getting that indent in the side of my butt. Lora have you noticed that to??? Tracie mentioned it in one of the dvds:7

Nicole - I thought you weren't going to do that TLT/Firm Rotation yet. I wanted to start it with you, but I thought you said you were waiting. Are you going to do it again in a few months?

Terri - I love the TLT's. I've noticed slight changes in my body since doing them.....but slight for me is good. My anterior deltoids look a bit more cut and as stated above my legs ....but just slightly. I also noticed my abs are looking a bit more toned and that's all of the core work I've been doing for the last month (It's not very long either).

Sabrina - sorry nobody showed at your open house.

Annapolis was pretty good ........it had a lot of boxing in it and was better than a lot of stuff out there. I'd give it a thumbs up, but it's not great...although what is lately? I liked Underworld Evolution better, but then you know me and my vampire movies.

I started the TLT/firm rotation on Mon. and I have to say I am really enjoying it!! To pull out Vol 4 today was fun. I have not done that workout in ages, and that really was a workout:7 When I get new dvds I always like to do them. I can totally agree with you on the core. I think my core is starting to look good:D I love how all the dvds work on that area (that is my problem area:-() I really like those squat and turns on Jens dvd, and all the reminders to pull that belly to the spine!! I have worked out 7 days in a row:D I thought today was my rest, but when I looked at the rotation it called for a challenge :7 Happy to hear you enjoyed your movie!!

Ok tell me more about the rotation. I am being sucked in :) Websites etc. You girls are so good and so bad for me :)

Nicole - Now I want to do that TLT/Firm rotation. I just bought the one DVD I didn't have too. I swear I'm going nuts cuz I thought I asked you if you wanted to do it and you said you'd start it in a month or so. Now I'm having second thoughts about what I was planning. Ugh......I thought I was going to do a P90X P90 Masters rotation and now I'm torn again!!

Terri - Did you review them on the site? They aren't traditional weight lifting, but functional fitness. I know when I first started doing functional fitness....I didn't really care for it, but the more you learn the form and technique, the harder you can work and appreciate them.

I'm going to try to go to bed now. I have a doctor appt tomorrow so I have to be up really early. I'm not even tired cuz I got too much sleep last night.

It is late but I thought I would drop in and say hi. I had my grandson yesterday after all. I got to bed kind of late so did a 1.25 mile treadmill run when I usually would have taken a day off. I needed to get energized before Church. I did P90X stretch dvd. My daughter came and hung out. We went to Chili's and met my Son in Law there for dinner. SO todays menu was McDonalds ceasar salad w/ SB italian dressing and a grilled chicken salad at Chilis w/1/2 of the dressing. It had oranges in it. I don't know what it was called. I had a small glass of lactaid skim milkw/ strawberried and protein powder for breakfast. I really blew my efforts to follow the diet plan. Next Saturday wil be a challenge as we are having a family get together at my daughters with games and food.

Terri, I did not get to go look for clothes. I thought I was going to be alone, but my grandson came. I always enjoy this. I am thinking I may have to do online shopping. I would have liked to try some of it on so I know it will fit.

Sabrina, I am sorry you didn't have anyone come in on your open house. I would think spring is a better time for showing houses though. Right after Tax refunds start coming in and the weather starts warming.

Lora, I think last week I stated that I was not sure of my body type. I read those things and think I may be this one and then I think another sounds like me. When I go for larger or smaller boned my wrist is 71/4 in.. Then I gain in some areas, but seem to stay leaner in others. Not dieting or exercising, I gain around the upper thighs,(those lumps that want to come out the sides, hips stay smaller, my belly gets round.) If that makes sense. Upper body muscularity seems to be the easiest area for me to gain muscle. I started showing a significant difference doing the Classic Firms with 10# and 15# dumbbells years ago. I had comments from people then. If I let it all go I kind of feel like I could look like a potato or a pear with toothpicks stuck in it:) As far as rotations. I could not give a specific. I have those that I have gotten results from. Some I have on my website. I alter them when I go back to them. I rarely do the exact same thing over again.
