Morning Ladies -

This morning I did Billy Blanks Tae Bo Elite - Fat Blasting Cardio for 20 minutes and then did P90 Masters Sculpt 5/6 and my 10 minute yoga routine by Rainbeau Mars.

I can't believe how sore I got from P90 Masters Sculpt the other day. It's only a 45 minute total body weight workout but it's a good DVD. I used as heavy weight as I could and was feeling strong the other day. I think I'm going to like this rotation (so far). I again played my own music during the workout. I guess I should do them all a few times with the sound on to hear tips on form, etc....before I start rocking out!

Have great workouts everyone. I'll try to check back later.

Charlotte - I can't wait to hear about the concert! I listened to ShineDown again this morning and Seether yesterday. Good music!

Today I plan on doing Lomax. I am going to check out and see if any of the premix's interest me???? Then I will do 1 set of BBM workout and ride my airdyne.

Marietta yesterday I posted to Sabrina that I am having difficulty doing more than one set of the BBM workouts too. Do you want to join our 1 set of BBM Club:7

Susan I am really feeling my glutes from SIM. I really like that one, but I like them all!! Could you come up with a rotation using these and Cathe strength???? I would like to do PS or SH rotation, but I really want to keep doing these!! Any idea's on how to work them in??? Great to hear everyone is doing well!! Spencer will be growing like a weed!! I love the newborn stage..... It goes so quickly!!

Terri what are your thoughts on the BBM..... do you want to join our club!! Ha ha. I just find I get so bored doing it on my own??? One set is all I can stand!! I think 1 set is something????

Marietta, did you look at cathes march rotation? I may do it and add more cardio. I have a question for you though. Will using Slow and heavy and pure strenght bulk my upper body? I like the definition my uppserbody has now and don't want to bulk. I would still do freestyle for legs. Whta are your thoughts?

Lora-I love the was you do several workouts at once! Do you also have p90x?

Good morning Ladies!!

This morning I did High Step Training....I was supposed to do Muscle Max, but opted for HST to get a little cardio as well. I think later I'll run and do chest.

Terri - I do like the March Rotation...I think I may start it on the 12th. I say that because that's when I start training for my half-marathon and this type of rotation would fit quite nicely. Also, I don't think the slow and heavy will bulk you. You would only be doing them for one week. If nothing else it's a nice change of pace.

Nicole - I like the idea of doing just 1 BBM set per day. I'll join that club! You asked me about Low Max premixes and to be honest, the only one I like is the blast only. Really, Low Max is not a favorite of mine, but when I do it "extended" style I tend to be able to appreciate it a lot more.

Lora - I think your music is making you a happier person...keep it coming!!

Sabrina - You were cracking me up talking about your son having a fit at the store...I remember those days.

I'll be back...gotta go to a meeting.

Good Morning,

I'm just popping in real quick, but just wanted to mention a few hours after doing HSC I was in a great deal of pain...not the good pain either. I think it may have been those darn jumping jacks.
I'm better this morning, but I might have to put dear Cathe back on the shelf and go back to the TLT's. They didnt bother me.

Nicole, I'll work on a rotation for you using TLT and Cathe. I really felt my gluteus MAXIMUS after doing SIM once. I thought it was because I'm out of shape. I might do that one today.

Good Morning Everyone!

I didn't get any sets (BBM) in yesterday. I meant to when I got home from the gym. I ended up doing the elliptical for 45 minutes, pilates class and then 30 minutes of yoga. My friend showed up (finally) and wanted to stay for yoga. I'm glad I did.:7 I overslept again. Today, I'll do a SS DVD and finish off PUB (C&T). I'll do one set of the BBM too.

Terri ~ No! It was cold at the bus stop this AM. There's no sun either. :-( My dh said it's supposed to rain. Good questions for Marietta. I don't bulk up on top. Now the bottom half is a different story. Thank goodness we found freestyle!

Sabrina ~ How many b-days do you have to shop for? I have to find shorts for my kids and myself. Sandal shopping was a success yesterday! One thing off the list!:)

Nicole ~ Another good question for Susan. It's so hard getting it all in, isn't is? Being a neat freak is exhausting. I feel like I can't sit still for too long! :-(

Lora ~ You got a good workout in today! How was sleeping? Not so good over here. You jinxed me...ha ha!;-)

This may not be an *exact* rotation, but these are ways I'd vary the TLT's with Cathe. I wasnt specific with Cardio.

Week one:
FYC, GS-Chest and Triceps
SIM, Cardio
BBBB, GS-Back, shoulders, biceps
EFM, Cardio, TB Stretch
Core Max, GS-Legs
IMAX (of choice)
Off

Week two:
BBBB, L&G(standing), C&W abs
FYC, Cardio
SIM, GS-Chest and Triceps
GS-Back, Biceps, shoulders, short cardio, SJP abs
Cardio, ME abs
EFM, PLB floorwork and GSL floorwork
Off

Week three:
PS-Chest, Shoulders, Cardio
FYC, PS-Back
SIM, PS-Legs
HSTA, ME abs and BC abs twice
EFM, PS-Triceps and Biceps
Cardio, Stretch Max

SIM, SH-Chest

Dallas, The pain was in the area I had my surgery. I had to take pain medication for it. My ds6 does the same thing when I workout. He puts some stuffed animals in a triangle and bowls them over. Keeps him occupied for a little while.
 
Susan THANK YOU!!:7 This looks GREAT!! I am going to start this on Mon. I think you are right to go back to doing TLT's until your body is ready!! You know a c-section is a big deal!! Your inside incisions are healing as well so take it easy. You will be workiing out to Cathe again soon!!:D

Terri I am still working on a drawer:D I have decided I am going to be doing a little everyday..... Just little by little and than it's not such a big deal to do it:7 How about you??? HOw are you coming along?? I WISH Dallas lived near us!!! Then we could just have her and her dh come over to our houses and get the job done:7

Marietta happy to have you join the club!! :7 It is not that big a deal when you do the first set, but gosh it gets bad when you get to the 2nd. We are still working our glutes so this should do something!!

I did get FIU and PUB (C&T) done. Boy, that sure was a lot easier doing PUB that way. lol

Ha ha Nicole!!:7 Hey, maybe dh and I can start a business like they have on TLC. What's that show called where they come and de-clutter? lol!

Nicole/Terri ~ do you feel it during the chair FIU exercise where you bring your leg up in a bent knee position and then extend your leg. I tell you that is one exercise I really feel it while I'm doing it!

I picked up this book from Shape from Sam's Club yesterday. It has exercises broken down by body part. I skimmed it. I thought I could get some more ideas for this lower half of mine. Anyone else have this one?

Off to a play date. I didn't get the BBM or my version, but I'd like to get some cardio in later. So, I'll do them then.

Afternoon ladies!

I eneded up going to Peoria shopping. Had some luck but not enough. lol

Dallas-I have my DH-March 5 and my youngest, Ethan-March 19. Exactly two weeks apart. Dh I bought clothes for him and Ethan I am almost done except I have a geo trax item to find (and I am not having any luck) and a Franklin DVD. I better start surfing the net. lol Glad you had some success shopping. Maybe we just need to go together. ;-)

Susan-Take it easy! We don't want you in pain.

Nicole-Have fun folding the laundry. Want to do mine too? I hate folding laundry. I hope to get my BBM set in this evening. I am going to tan at 5 and then wee are grilling out. Woo hoo. I love to grill out.

I have things to get put away before the older boys come home. I have to hide some chocolate long eared bunnies (I know of a place they would never be found!! :9 }( :p ) LOL!

I had to search for this thread...we fell to the second page. I guess everyone is busy today...I know I certainly am.

I went for a 4.5-mile run and did some back and abs at lunch.

Didn't get around to BBM today...but my HST workout gave me plenty of butt work.

I have been in about 4-hours worth of meetings today and it's driving me crazy...I'm working on a project that is surrounded by corporate politics (lovely!)and it's keeping me pretty busy this week. Hope I don't go crazy before it's all over with.

Susan - sorry to hear you had some pain...you know what that means so I will just leave it at that (smile).

Terri - Let me know what you think about my suggestions...the upper body is not very easy to bulk...I mean, that would have to happen over a period of time. I don't think you have anything to worry about.

Dallas - Sounds like you had a good time at the gym last night...sounds like a nice place to hang out sometimes. I think I've seen the Shape book you are talking about...a friend of mine has it...it's a good book.

Oh...I gotta go. I'm not ignoring anyone...just really busy...now I have to get to dance practice. Just wanted to drop in.

Susan ~ How are you feeling? Yeah, my ds gets bored too while I'm working out. That's when he breaks out the pretend food and makes me breakfast. ha ha! I have to get my lazy butt out of bed and get it done first thing before anyone gets up. This hasn't been a good week for that.

Marietta ~ Sorry work has been so crazy. I bet your days fly by though.

Sabrina ~ Did you find all the things you were looking for?

I have to say the last time I did the elliptical my foot was a **little** tender the next day. Today NA-DA!!! Yeah, I hope it's almost there!:7

Today I did I Max 2 w/u & intervals 6-10, iFIT World level 3 treadmill, P90X B&B, ab ripper X and 100 kneeling crunches and fifty seated resisted crunches with the Bowflex. I got out and fixed my nail. I wanted to get a Mystic tan but the place I went wanted to sign me on for a year contract or charge 100 dollars membership fee plus. I told him to forget it. I have been using the build a tan stuff.

Nicole, my daughter is doing ok. She took him to a military facility today and dropped him off. He is in the reserves but had put in for this a long time ago.

Dallas,my son in law left today.I am not sure exactly when he leaves the states. Here is the German chocolate cake recipe
Icing
1 cup evaported milk
1 cup white sugar
3 egg yolks beaten with 1 tsp. water
1/2 cup butter
1 tsp. vanilla
1 cup chopped pecans
1 cup flaked coconut
In large saucepan combine milk, sugar, egg yolks, butter, and vanilla. Cook over low heat, stirring constantly till thick. Remove from heat and stir in pecans and coconut. Spread on cake while still warm.
On the cake I use a mix but add 1 package instant chocolate pudding,4 eggs, 1 cup sour cream, 1/2 cup warm water, 1/2 cup vegetable oil, and 1 cup dark chocolate chips,
and bake it at 350 for whatever time is on the box.

Susan, take it easy you don't want to overdo to quickly.
