Morning Ladies -

This morning I did P90 Masters Sweat 5/6 and then 10 minutes of Push aerobics on my rebounder and a 10 minute mini yoga routine.

My body is feeling really weary today. I haven't been sleeping again (since last Friday). It's starting to catch up with me. I hope I can sleep tonight. I'm falling asleep sitting at the computer now! Work's gonna be fun!

Where did Diana Sue go on her vacation?

Thanks for all of the compliments on my picture in Collage. That's very kind of everyone.

Have great workouts everyone. I got some new Yoga DVDs the other day and I'm looking forward to doing them over the weekend. They always make me feel so good. I must find time to do some yoga during the week.

I had a weary workout day yesterday. For some reason, I just felt completely worn out. I did shoulders and bi's, but never finished doing tricep work as I knew I would have to go down significantly in weight to make it thru so I just don't bother and will just do it today along with KPC. I will work to KPC with my DD and her friend after school today as I have alot of cleaning to do. I do hope your sleeping improves. I don't know what to tell you as I never had this problem except for maybe an ocassional night. Girl, I am thinking about you and you will be in my prayers....that is a long time to go without a good nights sleep (since last friday).

Morning:D,
Today I plan on doing EFM a short cardio(not sure which one yet???) Whatever trips my trigger :7 A total body stretch, and I will ride my airdyne later on in the day.

Lora try and take a power nap at lunch today. Hope you can get one in. Also is there something that is really bothering you???

Christine I excited that you are going to get the rest of the TLT's. Every time I do one I think thats my favorite LOL. My body is feeling better since doing these.

Susan happy to see you got a chance to post yesterday. Sorry that you are still not up to using Cathe, but hey has anyone told you......YOu just had a baby:p The positive side is you are stepping!! You go girl!!!

Charlotte that is so neat that you workout with your dd!!

Lora-Wish the sandman would visit you soon. You need some rest. Is everything ok?

Nicole-That is about the way I choose a workout(when I do), is by what trips my trigger. lol

I guess I had better go and read yesterdays thread. We ended up putting up some wallpaper last night. Didn't get too far but not bad considering I never started taking the old down until yesterday. Tonight we have to go to my middle sons spring music program. Should be fun.

Susan ~ Yes, what Nicole said! Take it easy. I remember feeling like when would this body get back to normal. Then one day it just happened...of course, I didn't have a c-section.

Terri ~ BIG (((((((HUGS))))))! I'll keep your entire family in my thoughts and prayers.

Charlotte ~ You have another good workout planned!

Anyone have The Butt book by Tosca Reno? There are so many good recipes in there. I can't wait to get to the grocery store! Today, when the plumber leaves I'll do the treadmill and GS-Chest & back. I may through in some abs too.

Dallas--I always get upset too. lol What a pair we are! Where are you staying at Disney World? I have bought a couple books and have been looking at them. I hope we get to go in early December. That is when we are thinking about going now instead of at Christmas since it would cost us so much more then. The boys would just have to be pulled out of school for a week. Did you book yours online or thru a travel agent? Did you go with a package deal? Sorry about all the questions and you don't have to answer them if you would rather not. ;-)
 
Hey Sabrina, I can e-mail you with more details, but here's a few basics. The number I called to book the hotel was 407-WDW-MAGIC. They will even send you a vacation video if you ask. My kids like watching it. They are so helpful! That's where you book hotel, transportation, dining, etc. I've been on the phone with them a lot lately!

We are staying at the Polynesian. Last year we stayed at the Grand Floridian. It was very fancy. Nice, but fancy. I think the Polynesian is more our speed. It's nice because it's on the monorail. You get to all the attractions sooo fast. I hear a lot of good things about The Wilderness and Boardwalk. I have a lot of good places and things to see! I'm so excited for you!

Oh, this is getting too long. I'll have to e-mail you and continue...:)

Good Morning!

Today is KPC on the schedule and I really like that workout! You all know me though and I will do more then just that:) I am going to try BBBB the only TLT I have. I did it once but want to try it again. I did like it. I will also be doing some ab work and I have found if I run for even 20 minutes in the evening it gets rid of my stress from the day so I may do that.

Lora-I hope you can get some sleep tonight!

Susan - Great to hear from you. I'm sure you are being hard on yourself...as usual. I know you look fabulous!! Thanks for the P90X feedback too...I was thinking that I'd like it better also. Man! Just hestitant about making that move for some reason...

Toasty - Sorry you had a "weary" workout yesterday...did IMAX 2 kick your butt??!! When you guys do KPC, do you do it together?

Nicole - Let us know what ends up tripping your trigger...

Sabrina - You are right, you guys are making excellent progress considering you just started taking it down...you go girl!! Have fun at the program...enjoy them while they still have them.

Terri - Hey Lady! I did KPC yesterday...I like that one too. I know what you mean about the running....it's a wonderful stress reliever. Don't know what I'd do without it...I was sore yesterday from my Tuesday back workout...oh, what a feeling!!

Hope I didn't miss anyone...if I did charge it the head and not the heart. I'll be back...

Yup, Imax 2 kicked my booty all up and down and around!!!!! LOL! Yup, all three of us doing KPC today after girls get home from school. Hope I don't kick anyone~ LOL! Maybe I should do a set of BBM too before KPC w/o weights too like yourself? Just don't want to exhaust my leggy's too much or I won't be able to kick later. LOL!

Marietta I did the biggest loser high intensity workout and the stretch.:7 That really tripped my trigger......nice and short;-)

Sabrina did you catch the biggest loser last night??? I really thought that the marine wives would win, but in the end the Navy wives lost more and WON a extra week with Bob!! Lucky them haha!! I wish they would have done the whole show last night!! Remind me to watch next week!!

Good Morning (afternoon) you buff ladies you!

I did PowerStrike 1 today. Was supposed to do Chest and Tri's at the gym this afternoon, but my shoulders are sooo sore from PS that I think I'll wait until tomorrow and do FYC and the Superset premix of GS C&T (along with some cardio in the afternoon). I cannot believe how much that workout kicked my butt (oh yeah, that hurts, too!).

Lora - oh, I hope you sleep well soon! I'm horrible if I don't get enough sleep one night - I cannot imagine almost a full week. I'll be sending you good sleep vibes tonight!

Charlotte - How WONDERFUL! I'd love my DD to do KPC with me! That sounds like a blast!

Nicole - oh, the credit card is getting ready to smoke again. I'm doing FYC tomorrow - and taking BBBB with me to my dad's (I'm leaving Saturday - he lives in Maryland) along with a 3 pound "squishy ball". I'm so stoked to get the other ones! I get paid next week, so here I come!!

Sabrina - I just love school concerts! My DD is in the choir and she actually sang on Tuesday. Tonight I'm heading to the school to get her signed up for high school - when did she get THAT old?!

Dallas - Have a blast with the trainer! Let me know how it goes! I'm so excited for you! I love my trainer. Oh, and your trip to Disney sounds wonderful.

Marietta - Your tires will fit - you mount the bike by where the wheels attach, and the actual trainer part is adjustable - so there's plenty of room for any kind of tire. Don't know about the sales, though. But ya never know...

Everyone must be busy...it's very quite on this thread. I know...some of you have lives (smile).

Charlotte - You crack me up!! My dd's are not trying to work out with me...they run the other direction...fast!!! Hope you guys don't end up kicking each other...you'll have a blast though!

Christine - Tell us about yourself...How many children do you have and how old? What do you do...do you work outside of the home or are you a SAHM? How did you get into biking? Besides Cathe what else do you enjoy? Nicole is real good about getting people to want buy stuff...I think she is getting commission and not telling us..LOL!

Dallas - Let us know what trainer you decide if you're gonna get one. I may have to order soon if I want that sale price...hope it stays on sale until next week. That's when I get paid.

I guess that's all I have to say for now...

Marietta and everyone else... I have 3 kids, my own biological daughter who is 13, and 2 step kids who are 16 and 22 (girl and a boy, respectively). The two girls living with us full time and they are very close (100% opposite, but they bring out the best in each other - for which I am very, very grateful!). My DSD is a sweetie and we get along well, with the exception of when her hormones override her common sense as is wont to happen with ALL 16 yos. *shakes head* I work as a sales rep for a company that makes computer networking devices. I'm inside, so I don't travel at all, which is nice as DH travels a lot.

I started mountain biking when I was 32 (41 now) and living in El Paso Texas (ex hubby is military). I quit smoking and decided I needed a stress relief. Ended up becoming pretty good, and did a little racing, but I like biking for pleasure best. When I moved to Maryland (where my parents live) after my divorce, I lost the easy access to fun mountain trails, so I took up road biking. Did a few century rides for charity (100 milers), then met my current dh and ended up moving back west to California (my poor DD lived in 7 states by the time she was 6 - it's been California ever since, though). Fortunately DH loves the outdoors and I got him into biking (mountain and road) for a while, then I started Search and Rescue, got an Aussie and we switched to hiking. I've hiked Whitney (the tallest mountain in the lower 48) along with a few other 14,000 foot ones in Colorado (one of my best friends lives in Vail - and we climb together - last time we climbed Mount Yale then went to a chamber concert and sipped champagne while listening to fabulous music - a wonderful day! LOL). I had heard about Spinervals, and tried one, and now I'm hooked on cycling again (I like to do different things). I'm also a kickboxing fan and was actually really into Tae Bo when a friend introduced me to Cathe. I never looked back. I love her intensity.

That's me in a nutshell, sorry if it was long!

Dallas-I emailed you back with more questions. I hope you don't mind.;-) It is hard to plan when none of us have been to Disney before. I want to make sure we don't miss anything and the reservations in that we need to.

Terri & Marietta-Tearing off the wallpaper was a pain. My upper body is a little sore today. lol I will post some pic's when it is all up and the kitchen is back in order. I have to find some curtains or material yet.

Christine-Welcome! High school??! Ugh! I am not ready for that yet! Good luck.

Nicole-I didn't get to sit down and watch the show last night since we were papering the kitchen. I kept trying to take some peeks at the tv though. lol I will hopefully get to see the second half next week though. The papering will be done this weekend.

The school is going to be packed tonight and it is raining so I bet people will be there even earlier and they will be cranky. UGH!

I will possibly be back later! :)

Christine - Wow! You are awesome! I love reading about you...wasn't long at all. I can't believe you were questioning whether you were hardcore enough...looks like it is "I" who needs to question myself. What a wonderful life you have had...you've been all over the country and you've tried almost everything...what more can a girl ask for??

I have 2 daughters ages 10 and 14....they are total opposites as well. However, they DO NOT compliment each other..LOL! I've been married almost 17 years and I'll be turning 41 real soon. I took up running around 7 or so years ago. When I was younger I couldn't run a mile...I now can do half-marathons. I think I am going to do a full when I turn 50 because (I just made that my goal yesterday) then maybe I'll have the sense to slow down and let myself recover afterwards. I teach fitness classes and I'm a personal trainer also. I work at the Federal Reserve Bank in KC, but I live in Mission, KS...which is about 10-miles away from my job. I am active in my church and I just try to not sweat the small stuff...sometimes that's not very easy....

Love this check-in thread...I've come to know these ladies pretty well. They understand me and they like me anyway...wow!!

Marietta - you're too sweet! I have been blessed in travel and living in different areas. I've enjoyed it, but I'm happy to have settled down. It was time.

Yeah, you question yourself? I ran a 12k once and about died. I could never run a 1/2 marathon, let alone a full one. I'm really impressed. And I'm trying to figure out why you think you'll allow yourself to recover when you're 50... My mountain climbing friend is 55 and she creams my butt when we go.

You know... I've found that the women who love to push themselves and challenge themselves tend to be few and far between. Everyone time I find one we seem to click. Seems as if I found a whole group... I'm like a cat in a bed of catnip right now!

I really do appreciate the very warm welcome. You ladies are pretty awesome. I'm looking forward to being pushed!

You guys know I just *LOVE* when I get new dvds!! I remember......, I was in heaven when I got the Hardcores. I would have definitely been selling those...LOL

Christine I think that is so AWESOME that you are into search and rescue!! Do you travel alot for that or just do it in your area?? I just listened to a good thriller about about a lady that did search and rescue. I like to listen to books on tape when I am riding my airdyne:7

Btw I am 40 have 4 kids 2 girls 2 boys 6/8/10/12 my boys are in the middle. I am a registered Nurse, worked part time for a long time.... then decided to take time off 3or 4 years ago. I would like to go back someday:7 Maybe do something volunteer to help people?? I have worked out for years, but really started to get more serious about it 3 years ago :) Then I joined this check in I was a one workout girl, but now these ladies have motivated me to become a MANIAC haha. I have just added biking to my workouts (a little over a month ago).....I go from 20-50min a day on my schwinn airdyne, and to be honest I really hated it to begin with,(had no stamina) but now it is almost becoming addicting.

I love this check-in as well. This is a GREAT group to workout out with:D
