Hardcore Fitness Maniacs Check in for Saturday March 11

This morning I did Cardio Coach 4 (finally rec'd it). I used my rebounder and an incline step for the hill intervals. I ran on the rebounder and ran up the step incline. I probably should have done a rest day today since that's what my rotation called for and since I strained an inner thigh muscle doing yoga the other night, but I wanted to try out my Cardio Coach. I couldn't use the equipment in the basement cuz the DH was using the bike and didn't want me down there. I had an okay workout, but I was interrupted by having to tighten my belt for my CD holder several times since the CD kept skipping.

I also did 1/2 hour of yoga ....a DVD which I didn't care for so I'll be selling it on E-bay. I popped in another DVD to do some hip openers so I could feel a little better.

Sorry I wasn't around yesterday. I had a really bad day at work and my boss had me in tears (first time -- I couldn't take it and broke down). My system is now all stressed out....I started my period 5 days early and my stomach problems have kicked into gear. I think I may have a touch of a stomach flu also. I'll see how I feel tomorrow and maybe I'll just do yoga tomorrow.

I hope everyone is doing well. I'll have to try and go back and read some threads later today after I get my bath, etc. Have great workouts everyone.
 
Lora, how did you like cardio coach? I am anxious to hear your review :) SSoryy you had a bad day at work yesterday. I cannot get over the fact that they let people like her in management!

Well I slept in this morning and it felt good to do so. I am going to do the gymstyle marathon today. Doing upperbody this morning and legs in the afternoon. That means I will do todays rotation workout tomorrow. I will be doing light weights on the legs. I would also like to do a cardio sometime today but will have to see. If not I will do one tomorrow.

Today I am going to do Imax 3, and not sure if I will ride my bike or not??

Lora I know I have said this to you before, but I really think you need to start looking for a new job!! Ya know all that stress is bad for you!!

I spent my morning with little league tryouts!! My dh usually takes the boys, but he had to work......so that left me... I am so happy that my ds10 has his dads sence of direction because try-outs were at a local college..(big campus) and I was not sure where to go?? He got me there no problem:D

Sabrina we drove to Disney last year, and I have to say the memories we made was worth the drive:7 *We* no longer can eat pringles chips...I took a bunch of cans....Now we always laugh about pringles and how we can't eat them more or less look at a can...LOL Then on our way home they kept having these big signs for asportinggoods store... My dh took the exit to go to this store, and it was a little place about the size of my garage:7 Oh we laughed our heads off about that one..

Susan hope you had a good week with dh home!! I have to tell you..YOu made up one killer workout for me!! Thanks:)

Terri glad to hear you had a sleep in day. Got you all rested for the GS marathon haha. I tell ya I did GS legs yesterday, and I think the standing leg work alone could do wonders??? what are your thoughts?? I am missing my ss although susan did put firm it up on week 4:7

We just got back from a movie and dinner. I feel like a fat, bloated piggy. We had pineapple pizza, lite on the cheese, salad and minnestrone soup....it was good, but I'm a blimp!

The movie was Failure to Launch with Matthew McConahay (spelling?) it was funny and pretty good. I laughed a lot (needed that!!).

The jury is still out on Cardio Coach. It's different. I'm more of a visual person, but it was a nice change. I'm going to try it on a piece of equipment and then decide if I need another. I have a 20% off coupon cuz he didn't see my order when it came in and it took me a while to get it. If anything, it's good for the rebounder, since they don't make many rebounder workouts. I would like it better if the music was different.

I want to buy a few pilates DVDs for more crosstraining but I have no idea what to get. I was looking at the Body Wisdom ones cuz they are a set of 3 DVD's with 6 different premixes on each DVD. They have them at CD Universe for $25.00.
