Morning Ladies -
Well - I tried to do a rest day today. I even kept my PJ's on and was just going to stretch, but I popped in Yoga Booty Ballet AM Latte and did the warm up/aerobic secgment (x 3) to make a 45 minute cardio workout (only moderate though HR 128-145) and then I did AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH....Yoga in the Garden of Serenity and it felt soooo good. I highly recommend this DVD from Fitness Oganica if you want something to destress or if you're sore from a workout and need to get the kinks out. I was really sore from yesterday.....guess I really do need to cross train more. I forgot to add on my checkin that I did Crunch's Super Slim Down yesterday after my Kickboxing workout. Between the kickboxing (haven't done in a while) and the yoga/pilates blend workout, I'm sore in places I never get sore today! The yoga felt really good....especially on my piriformis that has been spasmed!
Susan - Another yoga recommendation (and you could probably look for Bryan Kest on this site also) is Yoga Shakti from Shiva Rea. I think I paid $25 for it on CD Universe, but it has TONS of stuff on it. It uses a Matrix system and you program what you want to do from the DVD when you do it. She is advanced and it has everything from gentle lying poses to very vigorous power yoga on it. The girls at VF love this DVD for it's versatality. I use it mostly for the stretching poses.
Have great workouts or rest days everyone. Speaking of rest days - when I tried to convince myself to take one this morning, I looked thru my exercise log. I took the partial rest day in October and the last full rest I had was in Vegas x 5 days at the end of August. I'm due for a trip to Vegas at the end of April, so I'll get my 5 rest days again then!! In the meantime, I'm gonna start crosstraining more with cardio. I ordered Cardio Coach #4, but now I'm wondering if I should order #3 as well.
I also can't decide what to get from Collage with my $30 model credit fee. I was thinking about preordering the new Jari Love DVDs.
I don't know what we're going to see today. I know we'll see Running Scared, but I don't know what else. I'll report back later. Off to soak in my tub with my Sex Bomb (one of my fave's and I can smell at the moment, so I better go quickly)!! I think the prednisone I've been on has been making me hungry and fat. I sure hope it helps my polyps!!
