Morning Ladies -

This morning was supposed to be my rest day, but I opted for a little cardio and yoga. I did Pam Cosmi' Steppin' Rhythm, warmup, block 2 and cool down (45 min). I just started working on this block a few weeks ago.....didn't trip over my feet and fall off of the step! If anyone wants a challenging, complex step DVD...this is it!

I also did Altar of the Heart by Tilak Pyle which is an hour an 15 minutes of yoga shot in the Blue Ridge Mountains. It was really good. I won't go into details cuz it doesn't seem like many of you are really into yoga. I just know yoga is making me feel a lot better and I need to find more time to practice it. It really opens my hips. I just need to figure out what's causing my pain to flare (shoulder blades/traps/neck).

Terri - sorry to hear about your father. I hope he is doing better. My Mom fell last week and hit the ground so hard that she was almost knocked unconscious, so she's recovering with bruised ribs, etc. She's not allowed to do anything for 2 weeks. She didn't have x-rays but the doctor doesn't think she broke anything, but she's badly bruised.

Hi to everyone else. Have great workouts. I'm off to soak in the tub and read my Oxygen. We're going to see Ultraviolet and 16 Blocks this weekend. I'll let everyone know how they are.

Good Morning Ladies,

Today I am going to do a kickbox workout and a ctx upperbody. Sorry I was kind of a downer yesterday. Too much going on, but I am better today and Dad is feeling better. I am excited for next week to See if Dave gets the job. He aslo has another interview with another company next week. Thanks for all your kind words!

Lora-I am so sorry your mom fell but thank god she didn't break anything! Have fun at the movies!
Diane Sue- Well you must be on cloud nine today !

Susan-I like the looks of the TLT's/cathe rotation. One day I might do that one.

Been cleaning house all morning. Ick! I have an open house to do from 1-3 today. I will let you ladies know how it went. Not sure what we are doing after the open house. I would like to go to Hobby Lobby but the boys are not in the shopping mode today, you can tell. I have brownies to make either this evening or in the morning for DH's b-day. Yummy brownies!! Then he wants to order Monicals pizza for supper tomorrow night too for his b-day meal. I will need to fit in several workouts for that! lol

Terri yes it has been a little over a month since I started riding my bike regularly. Can ya believe that??? ha ha. I was telling Dallas that I think the bike is keeping my legs in SS condition ha ha. I know you could relate..... since you love the SS to.

Terri you are having A LOT of stress to deal with these days!! I am sending you a big ((HUG)), and hope you have a relaxing weekend..... Have a do nothing day. I LOVE those!!

I did BBBB yesterday, and boy I can really feel it in my hips/butt. I find everytime I do these that I learn something new?? Nice Change from everything I have, and it does not KILL me Haha.

Lora I am going to start the rotation that Susan made up for me on Mon. using the TLT's and Cathe. I am looking forward to doing this!!I will keep you posted!! How are you liking your current rotation??

Nicole - I'm eyeing a Cycle Cardio Circuit workout on Mindy Mylrea's site. It is due out at the end of March. It combines riding a stationary bike and then you get off and do gliding and get back on, etc and then there is a section that uses tubing for the upper body. It's supposed to simulate the cross training effect of a Triathalon. I'm leaning towards getting the Gliding discs and a few DVDs, as I want the cross training for cardio. I still have my Reebok slide, but I'm not sure it will work for gliding. I like the rotation I'm doing, but it's only 6 DVDs so I doubt I could stay on it too long.

The movie was good but not as good as I thought it was going to be.
