Morning Fitness Maniacs -

This morning I did Amy Bento's All Pump followed by 20 minutes of Cardio from The Biggest Loser - High Intensity Cardio with my own music.

Amy's workout seemed a little harder for me today than the last time I did it. I, again, used about the amount of weight she used - maybe a bit more on a few things.

Have great workouts everyone. Ugh.........Monday......I'll try and check in from work later but I'm not sure if I can.

Good Morning all!

Today in Plyo X. I'm glad it's only an hour. How do y'all handle feasts? If there is food around, I'm going to eat it. Our friends brought incredible appetizers, and I ate too many of them. Then I ate dinner. Tonight it's DD17's birthday party at a fabulous Indian restaurant. More wonderful food and wine. I feel sick today. I don't want to feel sick tomorrow. Any hints are welcome. I might just carry around a champagne glass filled with diet Sprite.
 
This morning I did Pyramid Lower Body. I love this workout, its been a while since I've done it. I will be sore tomorrow.

When I get home from work I'm planning on a half hour cardio and some ab work. I ate a lot yesterday! :(

Good Morning Maniacs!!!

Yesterday I did PUB (pyramid down) and a 25 min interval run! Fun stuff!!!

Today I was suppose to do a steady run for 50 mins, but it is raining hard out so I might substitute for Imax 2 instead. If the rain stops, I will run.

Glad you are posting here...MANIAC!!!!! I don't do PLB alot either so when I do it, it ALWAYS brings on the DOMS!!!

I almost forgot to ask you....do you eat the spicy indian food alot. Something like that would give me heartburn. Maybe just eat plain stuff today. Not sure what to tell you to eat as I am not a vegan, but you will figure out. Hope your belly feels better soon. DH and I are planning on a party for DD graduation coming up.

Hi Everyone!

Well I had really great results with the Butts-n-Guts rotation from last year so I'm trying it again but I'm adding to it so I get 2 workouts a day in. So today is StepWorks which I'll do now and abs and a powerwalk this evening. Tomorrow is BodyMax and a powerwalk. So does this qualify for me to check in here? I need to stick to a rotation and be accountable. I've been on my own lately and I just miss chatting and the motivation I get here.

Glad to see you post here! We will all hold you accountable for every workout you say you will do OR ELSE!!!! There is a pledge too you have to take as well! Just kidding! WELCOME!!!! Christine- I can't offer help on chocolate binges (ME Loves the chocolate), but with alcohol, I abstain totally (recovering addict - have to) and with food.....I usually eat a small salad or something light before I attend a dinner with lots of food. It helps keep your pigging out in check. Good luck. I did okay with food yesterday, but I had 3 pieces of chocolate Saturday and Sunday!! Marshmellow eggs are my favorite!! and pecan turtles.

Debbie - where in Ohio are you? I'm in Youngstown.

Charlotte - I didn't know you were a Vegan. I'm vegetarian but I eat eggs, yogurt and cheese ....in modertaion of course. I usually stick with Alpine Lace Swiss cheese and mozzarella as they are lower in fat. I LOVE yogurt. I could eat a gallon a day if I didn't have to worry about gaining wait!
 
Good Morning All!

Did you all enjoy the holiday? We had a fun filled weekend. This week is our Holy Week. So, not only no meat, but no diary or seafood. Oh no! I've done OK with the no meat so far, but what will I do without my egg whites?! I guess it's only a week. We went to our new church and I really like the priest. It's just sad leaving our other church. We got married, baptized the kids, and I converted there. ;(

Welcome Debbie and Kali! When did you two join this "crazy" ;-) group? I'll have to go back and read the weekend's posts.

I haven't worked out since Thursday. I really wanted to, but with the busy weekend and I had a little set back after PT Thursday. x( I'm not sure what happened?!?! Today's the first day it feels "normal" again. ****sigh**** I'll probably focus on yoga and weights today.

I'll check back after I get to my workouts.

Did everyone have a good weekend? Dave and Ashley did finally make it up yesterday. My eating was NO GUILT yesterday :) I didn't indulge in any bad goodies. Well one jelly bean :)

Today is SJP and a hour run.

Terri ~ I did OK with the sweets too. I had to make choc. chip cookies for my ds and dd's bake sale last night. So, of course I had to make sure they were OK before I sent them to school today. ha ha! :9 I also had a quarter sized choc mousse with brunch yesterday. I ate salad, so I felt it was OK to have it! Again, yum yum!!!:9 :9

Not sure when Nicole gets back? How about Sabrina? And Susan?

ETA: Lora, those yoga DVDs sound great! I may just have to splurge! ;-)

Good Morning Maniacs!!

I had a great weekend...I was dreading it going into it because I had sooooo much to do. It didn't look good, but everything went very well and I'm glad that it's over.

Yesterday, I ran before church. I managed to get in round 7-miles then had to hurry and get ready to go...but that's no different than any other Sunday for me. I should have gotten up earlier...

This morning I did HSTA...I'll do elliptical and some upper body part at lunch today.

Lora - I hope end up having a good day. Mondays are not good for me either.

Christine - Well...you had a great time, but now you are paying for it just a little. I suggest that you eat really light today...7-up works better than sprite when you stomach doesn't feel quite right.

Hey Debbie - Glad to see you here!! I love PLB! I'm always sore after that one. My eating yesterday was so-so...it could have been better, but it also could have been much worse.

Toasty - I have a couple of Amy's workouts...I know you don't LOVE Step so I don't think you would care too much for her advanced step. It's very complex and can be frustrating unless you like that type of thing. You may like the Bootcamp, but she goes pretty light on the weights and you really can't modify to much because of the types of moves she does...she has some video clips...you should check them out.

Kali - Hi There! We'd love to have you...yep you just let us know what you plan to do and we'll see to it that you STICK to it!! Have great workouts today...

Dallas - OH NO!! The foot...the foot!! What are WE gonna do??!! Good luck this week on your eating...if it gets tough, let us know...we'll keep you in line!!

Terri - Good girl!!! I'm thinkin that jellybean won't hurt one bit. What did you guys do? I think Nicole gets back today...we may here from her later today or tomorrow.

My oh My this thread is getting so big! I just finished SJP and now need to go meet a client as soon as I shower. I will get my run in later. Glad everyone had a good easter! Marietta we went to dad's and then out to dinner. I ate a plain salad...No appetite yesterday. Lora that is why I had such great will power:) Dallas please take care of that foot! Ohh Now your chocolate chip cookies I may not have had such good will power!

Ah, hmm, I think I gave a wrong impression. I just gave up meat for Lent. Easter was yesterday, so I'm eating meat again. Not as much as before, but still... :)

I managed to make it through Plyo X - I think I burned 100 extra calories with the extra weight I'm wearing from this weekend! :p It's a tough workout, but I feel so much better now that I did workout. I'm leaving at 1:00 from work - don't have to be anywhere until 3, so I'm going to pop by the gym and do some swimming - it's SUNNY!!!! And I want to be outside, but after Plyo X I'm not up to running. I'll swim some laps. Thanks for the advice! Lora - I think I will eat a nice salad before we leave. That's a great idea, and it gives me the leafy greens I need as well. And the sprite/7 Up is instead of wine or champagne. But with the gang that's going tonight, if I don't have a "drink" in my hand, I'll be pestered. So, this gives me an out. I really don't want to drink tonight.

Dallas - I found this thread on Sunday I and joined in. I never read these threads before, not sure why because they sure are fun! Its cool to read what everyone is doing for the day with their workouts. Is there a difference between this thread and the daily check-in thread?

Amy workouts - I bought all four. Hated the step one, I twisted my ankle doing it, it killed my knees and I hurt my back as well. So I sold it. The other three are good from what I've seen. I've done the ab workouts and they are excellent. The stretch ones are good as well.

Just wanted to say ..........YAY...I'm leaving for Vegas on Saturday and my boss is off Thurs & Friday this week!!

the bad news is that I always pick up a few pounds on vacation....even though I eat well, I eat more than I do when I'm home. I'll have to try to be extra careful. The only bad thing I do there is eat Pancakes for breakfast....cuz I luv them and can't resist if the DH eats them. I know they are tons of calories, so I'll try to eat half of my plate......but I get so hungy!!

Charlotte- I'm taking my CD player with my new BuckCherry. I'm addicted to it and totally obssessed with them now. I get like this whenever I find new things I like!! It's my addictive personality rearing it's ugly head! I saw a picture of Josh (the lead singer) with shorts on and he has tattoos all down his legs too....but not as many as on his arms. I'm beginning to appreciate his ink. Am I sick? LOL
