Hi,
Rest day for me today. I had almost 20K looking for dresses. My knees are swollen. I went to a boutique for dresses, it wasn’t even a designer dress, it was over $500, WTH? I found a lot of nice dresses, either they too long or didn’t look good on me. Still looking around. I need a petite dress not regular long dresses. I been looking online, most have poor ratings. DD wants a pacific color which makes it a little harder to find what I am looking for.

Friday I did Lauren Cardio and Strength Hitt Low Impact workout Combinations, 1 hour, 322 calories, heart rate 122/160. No workouts Saturday and Sunday. I am not sure about this week. Maybe I will get in some workouts. I have more appointments this month than expected.
Belinda, good luck finding the right dress. I know it is hard and even harder getting the right colors. Nice work on Meso 3 Week 3 Day 31.

Thanks it was not as bad as I thought my knee is just so stiff. I thought it would hurt, but they were pretty gentle.

Today I did Lauren Resistance Band Workout 25 minutes, 106 calories, heart rate 101/119 and followed with her Full Body Resistance Band Knee Friendly workout only doing the standing all upper body portion and skipping warm up, 13 minutes, 58 calories, heart rate 100/123. The floor work looked good, but I did the workout in our room and there is not much room for floor work plus I cannot see the tv from the ground. That was it. We had to go out on some errands. I did not expect to get anything in today so feel good I did. Total time was 38 minutes, 164 calories. Just before we went out of the house they called from the Arthritis center to schedule my knee mri. I go in Thursday. I did not want next week as I have my infusion and will be driving my husband home from another eye appt.. They said they don't like to do infusions the same day as mri's. I am glad I brought that up when she called back and said she had made a mistake and scheduled for next week.
Belinda, nice work on STS M3 W3 Day 38 legs plus pilates core. It seems like purple colors are an in thing right now or orangey colors when I am looking at clothing.

Wow, it's August already and I am back to work today. 
So sad to be here. I want to be home making my soaps and lotions. I hope my business will take off so I can just quit and do that into my retirement. I know I'm dreaming though!!
I'm taking the week off from working out because I just can't wrap my head around getting up at 4:30 yet.
If you girls can say a quick prayer for my DH, he is having a really bad pain in the right side of his stomach. This has been going on since last Tuesday. He should have gone to the ER but refuses but I think he is going to go today because it is not getting better and he can hardly walk. Such a stubborn man when it comes to doctors. I would appreciate it the prayers.

No workout today. Things went differently than expected. Maybe tomorrow. I got caught up on our laundry though. I have been waiting for everyone else to get done with theirs. It is so hot outside. Even my dog steps out and wants to go right back in the house. Not good for getting him exercise. He was walking around a couple of days on 3 legs. I don't know what he did to himself. He is much better now. I hunted to see if he got a burr in his paw or something, but found nothing and he kept licking the side of his ankle area. Maybe he stepped in a hole or twisted it. He flies up and down the wood stairs and legs go sliding across the floors here.
Debbie, sending prayers for your husband. I think men are rather stubborn when it comes to seeing doctors. I hope it is not serious. It really is hard to change up our hours. Mine are changed a lot so I just get a workout in when I can.

Debbie - praying for your husband. I agree, with Diane….men are stubborn. I hope it’s nothing serious. Hernia maybe? I hope your business will take off soon. Fingers crossed.
Diane - that’s nice of you to wait for everyone to get their laundry done before yours. I do laundry as soon as I have a load. My washer runs around the clock, lol. Sadie doesn’t want to go outside in that heat either. I hope your dog is okey. Sadie doesn’t sometimes twist her ankles, I am always worried since she is so little.

I did Raw TBTS Lower Body and then a 2 mile walk. It’s really humid out.
Belinda-she is different from the mom I grew up with lost her personality and last I saw her she has lost weight and can hardly breathe she was a heavy smoker but apparently my sister and her docto doesn’t think it’s a proble.
Debbie-hopefully your stubborn DH goes to er could be appendix

Today I started with CDorner Arms and Cardio and only did 16 minutes. It was a lot of back to that point and cardio segments were crazy like super fast thrusters and jump once she went back to the floor and was doing pullovers I was done with it. That was only 113 calories. I went on to a Lauren Strength Combo Workout 37 minutes, 140 calories, heart rate 95/125.

Roxie - I can’t imagine how hard it must be that your mom is different from when you grew up. I am so sorry you have to go through this. I feel so bad for you and your mom. It’s a horrible disease.I will keep you and your mom in my thoughts and prayers.

My DH had appendix surgery yesterday and it was bad. He is doing well today, thank God but it was infected because he didn't get it checked out earlier that the surgery took 3 hours. Usually only an hour surgery. I was scared to death. Please keep praying for him.

Good Afternoon,
TBTS Push today. Got new contacts and something was wrong now my right eye is so blurry I can hardly see and it burns.
Debbie-when my DH had his removal it was more than an hour because he had gang green they had to remove. They kept us waiting in ER so long he started to pass out.
Belinda-my mom went to live with my brother and he told the doctor she was bipolar so they gave her medication that basically turned her into a zombie

i get my line out tomorrow my bloodwork was normal again still a little scary since I’ve been having medicine for four weeks but have to trust it’s all gone. I’m hoping within 48 hours after that I can start doing some upper body work.

Hi all!! My DH is doing much better, they actually let him out of the hospital on Friday after they said he would be in there until at least Saturday but most likely until Sunday. He's in pain but moves around well, is hungry and back to almost normal. We go back today for a follow-up with his doctor.
I really wanted to start working out this week, I need to, but I didn't want to make him get up early. The man will not sleep in after I get up. So I will wait until he is doing better.
Roxie - Wow, gang green. That is nothing to mess with!! The hospital we were at - where they told us to go for his surgery - got us in at 9:30 and at 10:15 told us their ER was down with no power. Come to find out, they knew that when we got there originally but didn't tell us to go to another hospital - which we could have done easily. They said they would transport us to a different hospital and it took them 5 hours to get us a transport. Effing ridiculous!!! That other hospital had been waiting for us since 1:00. They took him into surgery as soon as we got there which was around 5:30. By 6:30 they had him prepped and started surgery. He gout out of surgery around 9:30.
Diane - Nice job with your workouts. We have all been so busy lately, it's a wonder we can workout at all anymore!
Roselyn - So glad to hear you are doing well. I'm sure you can't wait to get to the workouts again!!
Belinda - I hope your knees are doing better. That sucks because not that long ago you said they were feeling good. Bummer.

I did my last STS workout today. I finished strong. I am so happy I made it all the way through. I am definitely stronger. Looking forward to a rest week. I will have spent some time with my DD in Miami starting on Wednesday. DH and Sadie will come down to Miami on Saturday, we will stay another week. Looking forward to it. My dance instructor will also be in Miami, we are taking a live class with her on Thursday That should be fun.
