Hardcore Fitness Maniac Wed - August 6

Hey Guys!

This morning I did Imax 2. As some of you know, I LOVE that workout. And it didn't bother my knee one little bit. Funny since cycling does and so does the elliptical. I got my HR up to 180. :)

Debbie - That's the aura some migraine sufferers see before they get a migraine. I wish I saw it b/c then you can take meds and head it off. I'm in the migraine group that doesn't see the aura first (there are 3 groups according to my neurologist). I do get the aura about every 6 months but never get a mirgaine after it. It lasts about 20 minutes and it's like stars. It's freaky, huh? It doesn't hurt or anything, just totally blocks your vision in that area. If you Google eye migraine or optical migraine or something like that you can see pictures of what you saw. :) It's kinda cool to know you're not crazy.

Lora - I'm sorry about what you're going through with your job. But hopefully like they said they do have other plans for you. Don't give up just yet. They just may have bigger things in mind for you!
 
I had a late workout today as I had to go into work early.. well.. maybe not LORA early, but you know ;)

Legs:

Squats 5 X 6
Statics 3 X 6
Plies 5 X 6
Lying HS Curls 5 X 6
Deadlifts 3 X 10
Low End DL's 3 X 8
Glute Raises X 3
Hack Squats 3 X 8

I don't know I kept going and going.. I didn't feel like those first three were really doing anything for me.. (is it possible to use too much weight and speed through it too fast and not get anything out of it???
Well, I guess Ill know tomorrow.. and the Deadlifts felt useless.. but Ill have to try something else I guess..

FITNESSFREAK- I used to get the blurries too-- within a couple ours tops I was sick with a migrane as well. I got my first one in YEARS earlier this year-- I was in the middle of some real intense cardio when I noticed it. I knew I had to get home FAST.
I blamed it on the fact that I went apesh*t the day before and ate a whole jar of cake frosting within less than 24 hours and put myself near diabetic coma lol (im not used to that much sugar!)
