Hardcore Fitness Maniac Thanksgiving Day 11/25

HAPPY THANKSGIVING EVERYONE! Hope you all have a very enjoyable day.

Today I worked my Legs in superset fashion. Had a really good workout, almost puke status at some points. No cardio today, should have but didn't. I'll make up for it tomorrow I hope.

WARMUP:
1 minute rest between sets.
Squats - 65#/12 reps - 2 sets

QUADS/HAMSTRINGS/CALVES

1 min. 30 sec. rest between each set.

SS #1
Squats - 85#/8 reps - 3 sets
ss w/
Elevated SLDL's - 80#/10 reps - 3 sets
***This one got me winded. Loved this SS.

SS #2
Static Barbell Lunges - 70#/10 reps - 3 sets
ss w/
Hamstring Curls - 40#/12 reps - 3 sets
***This one was a hamstring burner. Another good SS.

SS #3
Leg Press Station - 180#/12 reps - 4 sets
ss w/
Barbell Calf Raises - 85#/25 reps - 4 sets
***Another good SS. Legs were fried by the end of this one.

Debbie - Great superset mix -- and workout. Thank you for the link on pinwheels; glad you found your song.

Roselyn - I've heard that's an excellent workout (tough and fun). With the TF add on, you should be ready for Thanksgiving ;).

Theresa - Saw your post yesterday. Yes. Icy (and sub zero temps yesterday :( ). Just patches in little spots -- and me, clever enough to find one. I was careful to keep my ankle "happy ;)" yesterday. I must not have sprained it - just slipped/landed wrong dodging a snowball (DS). It complained for awhile right after but seems totally fine now (yay).

Yesterday, I did chest (STS Meso 2 double wave load) and MMA Kickbox (got that idea in my head via Theresa). Today, I will be spending part of my Thanksgiving with Shaun T (now we know what the T stands for :p).

I have been busy with the family. Not sure if I posted yesterday's workout. It was AMy's Step Challenge 4 combos 2,3,4 with Power segment in between each 47 minutes 377 calories, then I did BodyMax & Body Max 2 ab segments 17 min, 65 calories, Turbo Fire Hiit 20 to finish 155 calories. Total calories 597 and workout time was 84 minutes. Then I picked up my granddaughter and we went to lunch and Christmas shopping. Today I did a short workout. I have so much coughing and a hoarse voice from this cold. I just didn't feel like cardio this morning. I did CTX Upper Body with the CTX Kickbox w/up 66 minutes 354 calories. I had cinnamon rolls at my youngest daughters and we watched the parades. Later I went to my other daughter's for the family THanksgiving dinner. Hopefully I can get in some good cardio tomorrow.
