Just trying to gear up and have some coffee. I slept from 9:30-7 and could have slept longer.
20's today. Heat wave.

I am going to try my fav . MMax tonite. No upper barbell. Going to use dumbells at my side, and chest work,Gotta skip it.Can't do it for 4 more weeks.

This morning I had an excellent workout doing Gym Style Back, Shoulders & Biceps. My workout room was COLD this morning, I put a therometer in there and it said it was 55 degrees! I didn't even break a sweat. This is what I did:

Back:
Barbell Rows (instead of DB): 55# 2 sets/8 reps 1 set/12 reps
One Arm Rows: 25#
T-Back Squeeze w/band: Purple band
Pullovers: 30# (went down from 35# because my form was horrible going that heavy, these felt much better)
Skipped the low back work

Shoulders:
Seated Overhead Press: 15's 3 sets/10 reps (last set I did Arnold Presses) Should have gone up to 17's
Standing Lat Raises: 12's
Lat Raise w/Band: Purple band
Front Raise w/Band: Purple band (both band work burned)
Reat Delt Flies: 15's (up from 12's)

Biceps:
Barbell Preacher Curls: 45# 2 sets/10 reps
Dumbbell Partial Reps: 10's (these burned and I went down from 12's last week)
1st Set Concentration Curls: 15#
2nd Set Concentration Curls: 20# (up from 15# last week)
Zottman Curls: 15's (up from 12's last week)
Hammer Curls: 15's (Up from 12's last week, these killed me)
Wrist Curls: 10's 2 sets/16 reps

Didn't wear my HR monitor. I'm preserving it for my cardio only workouts.

Morning Maniacs -

This morning I did Cardio Coach 3 on the treadmill and just a little bit on the eliptical, skipped the cool down and then did Hip Hop Abs Fat Burning Cardio and part of Hip Hop Abs Ab Sculpt. Cardio with abs and cool down was 1 hour and 25 minutes and I (only) burned 543 calories. I then did Adrienne Reed's Power Yoga - Ultimate Flexibility (50 minute segment). Had to cut my workout a bit short today, as I have to go to do the grocery shopping and dentist.

I don't know if anyone's interested in Hip Hop Abs....but I thought it was fun, Sean has a great personality, it got my heart rate up, and felt it working my abs. When I previewed this last night, I wasn't sure I'd like it or that it would get my HR up. The moves were relatively easy to pick up (except had for a few that will take a bit of practice). The ab portion was done mostly standing and was a bit dancy. It also had a few moves done on the floor.

My foot is hurting in the arch towards the heel. I don't know what hapened to it, or I just might need new sneakers and I know the DH won't agree to me buying a pair.

Gotta run.....and do my neck stretches so I can go to the grocey store. Be back later.

Good workout...you burning it good lately. I bet you have the skinniest legs..you just don't want us to really know. ;-)

Great workout, Maniac..smokin' It was 47 degrees with my heat on in the sunroom full blast. Gosh! I think I will have to bring the dogs inside tonight as that is still not warm enough. My skin is so itchy from the dryness. Ick..ick..ick!

P90x'ers: Ok...this week is now majorly screwed up for me. I may have to repeat it as I did not work out last night! So I'm going to download the workouts onto my IPOD as this place is supposed to have a nice gym.

YES I AM very EXcited to leave...we will be on a plane in less than 48 hours. Bikini will be on under my layers of clothes...will just start peeling them off as we get closer!


Anne...I did a spot allergy test and it was negative with the Revlon colorsilk. So I went ahead and colored last night and I only had a couple itchy episodes. So I think I am ok. Thank goodness!!!OH..i'm gonna e-mail, I can't look at your pics.

Have fun on your trip. Wish I could leave on a trip, but I'll just keep *trippin'* instead for now. That is wild that when you get there it will be so darn hot and like Antartica now in most of the states.

So I am bored. Really should do Imax today instead of Yoga. I feel restless and unsettled. I am in a peculiar mood again today. I want to see the light at the end of the tunnel on some stuff. I am impatient. I should run until my knees hurt. O.k., I am done whining.

Morning Maniacs! I'm still alittle nervous of working my upperbody because of my elbow, so this morning I did 'Plyo Legs' instead of 'Mix it up'. I then did Eoin Finns Quickie yoga practice. Workout was 79 min. Should be a nice day today, in the 50's!!!

Char- Maybe the Yoga will relax your peculiar mood and then you won't have to run around like a mad women!

Amber- Thanks! And have a great vacation! I love the peeling off of the clothes. LOL!

Lora- Great workout. Hope your foot is ok.

Debbie- Another great workout! A cool room isn't bad once you get going, but it's sure hard to start in. Brrrrrrrrrr!

Hi Chickies!

So my promise to stick strictly (try saying that 10 times fast!) to P90X is falling by the wayside. I felt like I needed cardio to burn some fat, because you know I just seem to think I know more than Tony - I mean look at my body compare to his - HA. :p So I did a CompuTrainer workout on the bike on the trainer. DOMS in my triceps. Yay!!!

Lora - That's funny that you cut your workout short but it was still SO LONG!!!

Storm - I bet you're having fun doing some workouts again. How's your chest feeling? Still sore?

Debbie - Awesome workout woman!!!

Amber - I'm SO excited for you. Take lots of pics!!!

Char - Brrrrrrrrrrrrrrr!!! Sometimes I'm so cold when I start my workout I wear my robe over my workout clothes. I look quite silly.

Dallys - Be careful with that shoulder. You KNOW it will be worth it in the long run.

I am gonna do yoga after dinner as I think I will get interrupted if I start now. My day is messed up. People didn't come to look at our home until we got back..2 hours later. Irritated. Dogs running thru the house, etc.

Lora & BPAL Addicts...

I got my Blessing of Isis Tal perfume. This one is not good to wear as a perfume like the others...smells very close to Fire of Love, in my opinion which is very herbally and smoky scent. In other words, it doesn't smell too good to wear. As a matter of fact, hubby detest Fire of Love. These are meant for pure ritual in my opinion.

I am just full of complaints today..I sorry.

Bathrobe over workout clothes..you nut! I do the ab ripper in my underwear cuz buttons and loops, etc. off shorts tear into my backside. I do have the spandex shorts though, but got to be different, ya know? Yes, Tony's body is grand. I mean you can see every fiber and vein. I bet he has to be very unhappy at times when other people are eating pizza and he doesn't. I can only take the nutrition as far I can to be happy and healthy as I will not eat fish everyday...I still got to have the pizza too, ya know? What is life like without pizza???

Done working...Finally.

Suz- It's my elbow not my shoulder, crazy!:p It's starting to feel better, but I don't want to chance it. Might wait til next week to work upperbody. Yoga works arms alittle and doesn't bother my elbow to much. Hpefully that will keep my arm muscles from shriveling away.

Char- Yep, it's 52 degrees today. We switched weather.:p Hope the snow storm doesn't ruin FIL's trip outta there! What luck would that be? Have fun doing yogaX. I've done yoga 3 times this week with zero interuptions so far. Coarse, I've worked out early in the morning all week. Which is a miracle in and of it's self.:)

So did any of ya'll watch Oprah today? Had about The Secret on there. Very interesting. Must get the book. I forgot and only got the last 20 mins, but I got some good information/insight. Something else for me to buy. lol. Been wanting to get back into reading. Not in the mood to read my romantic Nicholas Sparks book (have a collection of them).

Having shrimp and brussel sprouts for dinner tonight. Oy!

Every one here seems quiet today.

I was busy all day with the dentist, shopping, etc. I also have an interview set up for Monday for that Clinical Secretary job in Peds Psych at the hospital.

Diane Sue - I have been wondering if it's okay for me to not be doing any lying leg work for a while since I'm doing this other rotation? Well, I did do a bit of lying leg work in BBBB the other day, but not much.


Charlotte - Sorry you don't like your oil. I think I have another BPAL order on it's way with a couple things I haven't tried yet.

Sounds like your enjoying your time doing things that you normally could not do when you worked, but looking forward to finding the right job for you will be the bonus. Yeah, we should be getting the inquistion stuff soon and I got some samples off ebay. Have a bid on some others too that end soon. Darkdel has still not restocked, but now I want to order The Secret so I know the entire secret. lol

Today I went to the gym and did legs
3 sets of 15 on
Leg press
squats
calf raises
hamstring curls
quad raises
inner thigh machine
outer thigh machine
and 30 min on treadmill

I went with my friend she had a free pass for me. I am so glad I dont go to the gym on a regular basis because it was so freakin busy.
I am so glad I have cathe It also seem like a work a lot harder with her anyways:) And also not bragging or anything hehe, but I looked better then most of the women there haha. Its all about Cathe!

It has been a busy day for me. I got up extra early to do a workout before I went for a mammogram/dexascan. I then did some shopping, picked up the grandchildren from school and have been putting together enchiladas for dinner for 19 people tomorrow evening. I have to get the cakes together tomorrow. Anyway today's workout was Amy Bento's cardio pump & step w/up and step, then Kickmax cardio no leg drills, abs from Amy's All Pump Ex and 20 hanging knee raises. I used an 80# barbell and did rollouts on my knees rather than use the discs. I do like the hand walking plank into pike with the discs. This is a good move. I still am trying to fight off a cold. I am going to go to bed early this evening and hopefully sleep:)

Janie, you got some good weights going:) Good job.

Lora, I think it would be fine to omit some of the floor work for now. You are probably hitting the glutes pretty good on some of those kickboxing ones and the gliding workouts.

Suz, good for you getting some doms in the triceps. I would think doing kickboxing with the weighted gloves would help too.
