Hardcore Fitness Maniac Hotties for 9/28

I'm happy to say that I am 100% injury free on the left side of my upper back (where pinched nerve was) and about 95% injury free on the right side where that knot was. It's just sore but nothing detrimental.

Today I did STS Disc #2, Back and Triceps. I had a heck of a time getting the DVD to work. I'm not sure if it was my player or the DVD. I lost 15 minutes of my workout time messing with it.

Had a good workout, though. Went with pansy weights again and used the Golds Gym Bands I got to do the pullup work.

My green band broke thanks to Bear Monkey. He chewed through it the other day and when I used it this morning it finally just broke. I'll have to order another one. Little brat! :rofl:

I think ending early was a good move. I didn't want to irritate my upper back again and some of the tricep moves really make that area tight (kickbacks). So I think it was a message from God to just do a 45 minute workout which was ok with me.
 
This morning's workout was Tracey's Bootcamp metabolic conditioning workout#2 41 min, 364 calories, Max HR 160. I then did Jari's Bootcamp workout #2 no w/up or str, 32 min, 247 calories, max hr 160. 611 calories, total workout time 73 min.. Tomorrow I will do the strength 2 workout. I will have done three weeks of these and 3 times each. That is where Tracey adds a recovery workout week. Not sure what I will do here. Fri and Sat I plan on getting in some other weights and a rebounder workout.
Bootcamp Metabolic Conditioning 2
4 rnds 40/20 1 min rest between rounds
over under, kettlebell frog jump 14kg kettlebell, med ball slam 15# (this is the heaviest that I have. Would like to get the sand bag), TRX jump squat, TRX mountain climbers(last round I did the TRX pike move)
FInisher 10/15 8 rnds body weight squat(I added jumps) squat thrust
Tabata 8 rnds 20/10 squat jump, low hold(on rebounder)
Tracey's I went light with 8-10# dumbbells Don't have all of the exercises down. She does a core move, weight segment that generally works upper and lower at the same time, then a 3 min cardio segment.


Debbie, I am so glad you are feeling so much better:D Having to waste time with fixing something is so annoying. I recently had one of those mornings when I got out my HR monitor and it was locked. I had left it on the counter and I think my grandddaughter 3 had played with the light on it. Anyway I ended up having to get out the manual (I have 3 different ones I had to go through) to figure it out. She also chewed up one of my bands. It was all stuck together. I had to buy a new set. I got the new Cathe ones and really am happy because they are much harder to use than the old ones anyway.
 
Hey Debbie Glad things are going good, once again. Maybe that was all you needed was some time off; glad you are back :)

I tell you I cannot get my ((((shit)))) together, this is the worst time in all the 25 plus years, that I am not able to bounces back:mad:. Know this, I will keep trying until I get it right and the love and passion for working out is back.

I decided to restart STS:) Sunday starts my week.

Diane Sue - Thanks! I just ordered the bands from Cathe's site. I hope they are stronger then the ones I've been getting. Did you get all three colors? Are they different resistence? Can't wait to get them.

Teddygirl - You'll get it back. Just start STS and don't miss a day. It's been hard for me to get up early again after all this time off, but I'm managing and doing ok with it. I sleep better, I know that. Just get back on that horse and kick some bootay! :)

Debbie , yes I got all 3 and they are stronger. I use the green one the most but for some things I use the blue.

Teddy, it takes time when you have been off for awhile to get back into things.you will though.

I need new bands, too. I didn't know Cathe's were stronger, but knowing that, I think I'll go with hers. Today was my first workout of the week, the barre class at Yogaworks. They have a couple pilates-esque classes that I really like. This one was at 700 am which is not such a happy time for me, but I really need to get something in today and the day I generally go to pilates won't work this week.

I’m liken that ‘kick some bootay’ Girl it is in me to work out its’ what I do ( did ):( lol but this longgggggg absence is totally insane:eek:
