Hardcore Fitness Maniac Hotties for 9/27

Today is usually my rest day but my mom's hip surgery is tomorrow so I'm taking that as my rest day instead. Had a great leg workout today. I did Meso 2, Week 3, Disc 20, Legs. I like these tri-sets. Makes the leg workout go by really fast.

TRISET #1
Lateral Step Ups - 25#/10 reps each leg
Side Slide Lunges with Paper Plate - 15#/10 reps each leg
One Leg Sit N Stands - 15#/10 reps each leg
***Did three sets of tri-sets, 1 minute rest between each. I didn't like the One Leg Sit N Stands. I can't hold my one leg up and this hurts my knees.

TRISET #2
Static Lunge - 25's/10 reps each leg
Plie Squats Alternating Hand - 35#/10 reps first set; 37#/10 reps 2nd & 3rd set
One Leg Slide Back Lunges with Paper Plate - 15#/10 reps each leg
***I liked this tri-set. I really like the way Cathe does the plie squats in this series. It's fun.

TRISET #3
Squats Narrow Stance - 35's/10 reps
45 Degree Lunge - 20's/10 reps each leg
One Leg Sit N Slide with Paper Plate - 15#/10 reps each leg
***Another good triset. Really got burned with this one.

One Leg Calf Raise - 15#/20 reps each leg
***Did three sets non-stop. These burn when you just do one leg at a time.

Please say a prayer for my mom. I'll let you all know how she did on Tuesday.
 
Morning maniacs -

this morning I did Barry's Bootcamp Fat Blaster Upper & Code Red workout with the DH. We also added on Amy's 5 Day Fix 10 Min Solution Interval Fat Burn. Workout was 65" and I burned 680 calories. Max HR was 154.

We also did Longevity Stretch for 30", but yet again, I don't feel stretched. I wish I could feel stretched. Some day I'll have to take the time and do an hour long yoga DVD and see if that works!
 
Yesterday was AOS Newport. I skipped the breaks and upped my kettlebell weight by 5#. Workout was 35 min and I burned 550 calories.

Debbie-I will say a huge prayer for your mom. I hope everything goes well.

Today I'm resting because I am pretty sore from the kb workout.

Tomorrow I start weight work again.

I saw your post yesterday but didn't have time to respond. Of course you are welcome to join. Nice to see you here. I joined this group not too long ago myself. There is something to be said for accountability.
 
No workout today. Probably a good thing. We went to church this morning and I could hardly wait to get home as I was really having some stomach distress. Didn't eat this morning either. Tomorrow I will be starting STS Meso 2 week 2. Hopefully I am feeling better. I have a dentist appointment to replace an old filling with a crown. I can go pick up my laptop from the computer tech too. They cleaned it up and had to clear out a lot of malware. Gosh, I run Spybot and my virus protection every week. Makes me mad. Also it had a program that came with it(I never used it) that was trying to install itself and was hard to get rid of. Hopefully it works better when I get it back. Spent some time this morning talking to a woman in church that had back issues and is going through 3 hours a day of physical therapy. She came up and asked how I stayed in shape.

Thank you for your welcomes. Yes Diane Sue I'm a native UK. I've never been lucky enough to travel to the states, although hopefully I will sometime in the future. All my best wishes to your mom Debbie, I hope everything goes well for you.

Today was a rest day. Tomorrow I may do a kettlebell workout I'm not sure yet. I purchased the new Body Shaper with Stephanie Vitorino and I was previewing it today, may also try that. Unfortnately I lost my job Friday it was a temporary contract at the local hospital and it was on the cards. But its still a shock when it happens isn't it? Hopefully something will come up soon, but it is a global recession and its affecting everyone.

Thats a nice compliment Diane Sue from the lady at church. Must make you very happy that people appreciate how good you look and see you as an inspiration.

Laura, I am so sorry about the job. I am sure you were expecting it to last awhile if not indefinitely. I hope that you find something else soon.
