Hardcore Fitness Maniac Hotties for 9/17

Today was cardio. I chose In the Ring with Amy Bento. I did the first premix which had 4 kickboxing routines and 4 med ball intervals. Very fun workout. I'm finally getting the moves down and that makes the workout that much better.

Then I did the Ab section from Cardio & Weights. Love that one.

My biceps are screaming at me today. Yesterday's workout kicked my ass. :hyper:

8 minutes below zone
30 minutes in zone
22 minutes above zone

GM MANIACS-

I am soooooo pissed this morning. I weighed in at exactly the same weight as I did last week on my period. I have burned over 3000 calories already this week, so theorectically I should be down a pound. I'm just bummed. I don't think it's muscle because my clothes are tight. I think I may have some water retention b/c my salt intake is a little higher this week than normal. I intend to be resolute in my weight loss and not let this get to me.

Workout yesterday was p90x shldr/arms and a 23 min run/walk ( it was raining so we cut it short). Total time was 56 minutes and I burned 833 calories.

Theresa - Don't get discouraged. Keep at it. You'll see the weight come off eventually. I know it's frustrating. I'm scared of what the scale will tell me on Saturday. Do you know you have two tickers?
 
This morning I did Kelly Coffey's 30 minutes to fitness Cardio Blast premix plyo cardio mix 41 minutes and followed it with 60 Superband squats then 30 Minutes to Fitness Muscle Definition legs 11 minutes(this did not have the compound moves in it) Then I followed that with workoutpound1. 1 hr 33 minutes and I burned 717 calories 45% fat. Max HR was only 156 today.
I didn't get much sleepKept coughing all night. I turned off the alarm and my dog Mudd woke me whining to go out at 4:25 so I never could go back to sleep.

Morning Maniacs -

This morning I had a pretty decent cardio session (work stress again). I did Kelly's 30 Minutes to Fitness Kickbox #1 followed by Leslie's Burn Fat with 3 lb hand wts. Max heart rate was 156 and I burned 665 calories. Workout was 63".

Kelly frustrates me a bit with her kickboxing, as it's hard to follow when you don't know the combos.

I work again open to close......and yesterday I had only 2 sales. It sucks when you're that slow and there for that long.

Speaking of work again- I'm VERY PO'd about what's going on there. The 2 new peeps started in Lancome yesterday. One is from Arkansas and one was transferred from another dept. The one that was just transferred is what I have a problem with. She has only been there 3 months and her numbers must be at the level for her to transfer. I think this is a bunch of crap cuz my numbers were way over my raise goal at one point when I was only there 3 months, but it's keeping your numbers up over the slow months that is the problem and I don't feel this girl has proven herself like I have. My numbers are teetering right on the edge of where they need to be. If my manager really wanted to see me transfer, she could have held one of the jobs open until she KNOWS my numbers will increase with Christmas business, but she is a B%$tch ....so such is life. Anyway, I've been praying about the situation and hopefully things will work out for me at some point. I know there is a current opening in Clinique, but she's interviewing for it now, so by the time my numbers come up....there won't be any openings. Sorry for the vent....but I'm beginning to hate this company. I hate things that are unjust.

Toasty - I didn't even know you were working. What kind of job did you have?

ETA: Just wanted to add that I feel another kickboxing binge coming on cuz of my pent up frustration over the work situation. Can you ladies remind me of the easy to follow kickboxing goodies.....so I can pull them up. I think Rumble is my #1 all time fave cuz of the heavy bag segment.
 
Theresa - Hang in there! I know it frustrating! I did megaworkouts for two weeks burning at least 1000 calories a day ...and nothing. So I quit doing that!:p


Debbie - Congrats on the Bicep DOMS, I know you are loving that!

My legs are really sore from Plyo Legs so I did 4 DS HIS/LIS. Workout was 56 minutes and I burned 428 calories.
 
Linda - What was the rest times with plyo legs? Did you do a weight exercise, a 30 second burst and then rest? Was it hard on your joints?

- You do a weight exercise that is cardio based, you know like squats or lunges the rest 30 seconds and do a 30 second plyo rest 30 and so. On it moves fast and you work hard. My workout socks from yesterday were still wet this morning from all the sweat!:p And oddly it did not come across as my though my joints were really taking a pounding or anything, that is probably due to Cathe doing the plyo moves slowly.

Oh forgot to mention my not graceful attempt at Plyo yesterday. First Plyo was the box jumps and I only have enough for 4 risers, so I am all set up take the first jump up completely misjudge the height my toes bang the side of the step and send it flying off the risers and I land in a heap on top of it!:p

Have to admit I thought twice about trying it again, but of course I did!:p
