Morning Maniacs-
Yesterday was plyo...53 min 800 calories. Love the calorie burn I get with that. Today is a quick couch to 5k run. Tomorrow is legs/back and sunday is yoga x. I weighed myself this morning which was a mistake as I still have my monthly visitor, but I felt so light. I am up 3 lbs from last week. I must say though, period week is the week a give myself the oppurtunity to be lax and I did. So, I'm not suprised by the weight gain. We will see how much is water weight when I weigh next week.

DH did the ab ripper video yesterday and was walking around like an old man today. I laughed my a@@ off !!!! He said he tried the chest/back but did not make it all the way through. The man can ride a bike for 100 miles but he sucks at weight work. I'm gently trying to nudge him to do more. I usually do this by betting him he can't.

Hope everyone has a nice, quick day.

Surprised this morning that I DOMS in my back from Kimberly's Weighted Combat Intervals from Absolute Kickboxing yesterday.

Today I did not feel like working out at all, but bite the bullet and did Step Blast with little enthusiasm.:p Workout was 55 minutes and I burned 363 calories.

Today was Meso 2, Week 1, Disc 13 - Chest, Shoulders and Triceps. Had an exceptional workout. Felt very strong and did well with this one. I know I'll love this mesocycle because now I'm doing what I like with weight lifting.

Getting ready for my interview. I'll update you tomorrow morning!

I got in a cardio workout this morning before we took off for the grandparents day breakfast at the children's school.
I did Kelly Coffey's Cardio Blast premix Plyo Blast 49 minutes. I burned 463, 30% fat, calories and max hr was 160. I really liked this. It did the step moves with some of the plyo segments in between. The workout was 5 min w/up, 40 min cardio, and 4 min c/d stretch. I wore my weighted gloves throughout. Kelly suggests that you can add the weighted gloves because there is cardio kickboxing in the step workout. I didn't eat much at the breakfast. Had a piece of toast, melon, and iced tea. I guess I should be trying to find some protein:) Cafeteria food is not the greatest but we had a nice time with the grandchildren.

Debbie, nice workout. Good luck with the interview:)

Linda, isn't it funny how we do something a little different than what we usually do and we get doms. A lot of the time these workouts will seem easy and then there is the doms:D

Theresa, I bet that weight comes right back off. I never find Ab Ripper X all that hard myself, other than I feel it a lot in the hip flexors. I use a med ball for some of it to increase the intensity. But I hardly ever get much of a burn from ab work myself.

Morning Maniacs -

This morning I was planning on getting up early to do some yoga added on to my workout, but that didn't happen. I stayed in bed until 8!! yikes. I ended up doing Kelly's Muscle Definition workout 2 followed by Exhale Core Fusion Body Sculpt Arms, Thighs and Stretch. Workout was 1 hour and 20" and I burned 551 calories. The DH did this with me. He couldn't believe how hard the barre type weight work of Exhale Core Fusion was.

I work late tonight. I hope it's busy. Both of us are there all day...........ugh!

Have a great day everyone.

Hi :D

Everything is well with me! Had a few sat backs with my painter he's better but first day got sick been in hospital, long story. Any who, I am moving along been so exhausted from the move believe it or not I’m still TIRED.

My sister is coming over today to help with basement cleaned and so on and so on needing to get started with my workout. I’m thinking about putting indoor outdoor carpeting in my basement, argh..... I sho hate to do that my basement floors are lovely but I need to workout…I don’t know what else to do or use when doing a step workout or using heavy weights DO YOU? don't want to be doing a step w/o and slip or while handling heavy wts don't want to slip. What can I use on my floors to prevent injuries?

Okay early lunch for me, got to run to Wal-Mart I seen a book shelf to hold all my workout DVD's. Trying to get organize. Have a bless day all!.

Teddy, good to see you check in. Glad you are getting things settled. Maybe you should check out some of the flooring options at greatmats.com. I got some 7/8" thick martial arts puzzle mats and placed them over my carpet in one of my workout rooms. This has been great and they are staying in place. I did leave a space clear of the mats to sit my weight rack on and book shelf where I have the television and workouts. They do have some flooring that is supposed to good for weights as well. I am not having any problems though. I have a plyo mat that I purchased previously somewhere else(4 foot square) I lay it over the puzzle mats and sit my bar and heavy weights on it when working out to protect the mats. It cost me 200 dollars and is working out great. I don't allow anyone to wear shoes that have been outside on them:) Just me and my workout shoes. Shipping was fast too.
