Yesterday I did Beast Bulk Chest week 4. Today I did Beast Bulk Shoulders 35 min, 257 calories. I then did Shock Cardio Circuit Blast, 44 min, 369 calories. Total time was 80 min and calories burned 626. I am headed out of town so I probably won't workout again till Saturday unless it is swimming at my daughters home. Maybe some yoga.
 
Today I did cardio and chose Cardio Coach #1. Had a decent workout. Had trouble with my HR monitor. Lately it hasn't been able to keep up when I'm running. It finally will give my correct heart rate once I stop. Id on't get it. I cleaned up the chest strap a bit, maybe it had something on it that wasn't making it work right?

So no workout for me today. My low back has been bothering me since Friday. DH and I had to move all the roofing to the backyard, he wanted it out of the front yard in fear that someone would steal it. Ummm, that stuff weighed a ton, I would have loved to see someone steal it. :rolleyes: We had to carry each 20' x 3' piece one at a time to the back yard (we had 20 of them) because they were so heavy. We were doing 2 at a time but that killed my shoulder and upper back. I felt like such a wimp. It took us over an hour to move it to the backyard and then we had to move it all over again to place it on the boards they were laying flat on. Talk about a workout. I woke up at 3 a.m. that night with my low back on fire. I took an Aleve and felt better the next day, but really, it hasn't felt 100% since then.

I was suppose to do legs today but I was worried about the up and down movement with my low back so I decided to skip it. I'll combine upper and lower tomorrow and do a total body workout if it's feeling better.

Today is my moms 76th birthday. I am taking her to Red Lobster with three of my cousins to celebrate - (great day to pick not to workout!) I'm looking forward to it.

Today I did STS Single Sets Premix and had a pretty good workout. I love this STS Total Body DVD, it has some really good premixes on it.

Just checking in to say I am home and will get started on my workouts tomorrow. Four days of nothing :) Only thing is my left side neck area and lat area is so sore. Who knows? I hope it lets up. I think I tense up a lot on the long drives and I was driving all over while I was gone.

Debbie, I think that roofing was plenty of weight work. A rest is in order.

This morning I did a premix from Cathe's Low Impact Challenge. It was the double lower premix and requires no weights swung around. 55 minutes, 428 calories. I then did Beast Bulk Chest week 5, 33 minutes, 174 calories. I finished with Shiva Rea Power Yoga Flow mandala namaskar 11 min, 57 calories. Total time 99 minutes and calories burned 659. It felt good to workout again.
 
This morning I did Beast Bulk Legs week 5, 44 minutes, 339 calories. I decided to not take my usual Sunday off since I already had 4 days off this week.
