GM Everyone,
I'm in to work early so I decided to post before the day gets away from me.
I have another chaotic afternoon today and then a super busy morning tomorrow.
Today was Drill Max for my circuit workout. I did a little better this morning and really gave 100%, but I still called it quits after about 55 min. I also wear 2.5 lb hand weights with this workout and REALLY push the intervals. Most of the time I really like this work out and do not tend to "cut it short". I didn't eat well last night and have been "catching up" on sleep this week, so maybe that's why I feel so drained. Anyway, I hope to get in some great exercise again this weekend, as the weather looks promising. I LOVE to get in lots of swimming, which is a great low impact mega calorie burner for me. My DH says I should swim next to the boat and pull him along the shoreline (like a trolling motor) - very funny.
Diane Sue - What happened to the Fifth wheel? I know you said it was damaged, but did you trade it in or sell it? That's really a bummer.... I hope you are able to catch that baby bunny, although it's easier said than done. Good luck with the gauntlet today.
Lori - I would love to trade my dogs for a Beagle!!
It is good they need so much exercise, however, because it really forces me to get in that second "workout" of the day. I know EXACTLY what you mean about the long hair - drying - sweating, etc. That's why I started getting up "stupid early" (to quote my DH) to get in my workouts. For years I would exercise after work in the evenings, but so many times things would come up or friends would want to get together and would be a sweaty mess! I don't like to blow dry my hair either, so I would end up going out with a wet head...not good in the winter.
Now I get up at 2:30 or 3 am almost every day - do my scheduled workout and then take the dogs for a walk/run. I also try to get in a walk with them in the evening- weather permitting. Nice mix of exercises yesterday!!
Debbie - I hope the knee and mom are better. I really have to thank you again for the rotation(s), which I am still doing, albeit a bit lethargically (don't know if that is a word?) this week.
