I am not going to do STS shoulders biceps and triceps today. My neck and shoulders are still really sore and my head still hurts. I even have a place at the upper neck/base of head that is tender when I touch it:confused: I found last night that I had to try and force myself to sleep on my back because on my side caused more pain. I got up 3 times and put ice packs on it which seemed to help. So, I guess I will do some cardio and stretch and foam roller work. Still am not sure what triggered all of this. It hurt terribly even on the couple of days I did nothing. I thought it might be all of the heavier kettlebell swings that I had been doing.

Linda, I get that way with the workouts. Step and kickbox can get old. I like changing it up with some new and different stuff.
 
Morning Maniacs -

I'm working the early shift today. Didn't want to roll out of my warm bed and still have this migraine........but I forced myself to workout. I did a new workout. Body Combat with Kristie Rowberry. Nothing special. I almost popped it out, but I made myself do it. I felt like I was working hard...but my max HR was only 153. I burned 623 calories and workout was 64". I petered out towards the end........just don't have it in me any more.

I think I'm raising my BP from stress at work. I've been working with the other girl daily and we are slow. I get soooo stressed about sales. She's very tall and sees everyone before me...thus gets all of the sales. My reviews at the end of the month and I'm trying to get a raise so if I get a pay cut in the future, at least I won't lose my job right away. If you don't make your sales quota, they cut your pay by $1 and then if you can't bring your numbers up in 3 months, they let you go. Sorry to keep venting about work......but I feel like I'm gonna have a stroke.....need to vent.

Yes I have been following the Insanity as scheduled in the rotation they provide. Althought today I did Insanity upper body/cardio instead of Core balance. I am loving the rotation.
 
Diane Sue - I didn't know Tracey does preorders. I need to get mine ordered. Thanks for the heads up. That is suppose to be the sequel to Strike Zone 2, but she didn't keep that name for some odd reason.

Hello Ladies-today was supersets and ss cardio

1-deadlift, bent over flyes, one arm shoulder press, one leg pelvic tilts
2-dips, leg raises, squat jumps, overhead squats-these really bothered my low back; I did the second set with no weights and kept the move the same and it was fine. On the third set, I just did front squats.

Workout was 45 min and I burned 683 calories.

Lora-was body combat a cardio workout, I'm assuming?
Diane Sue-sounds like you really did a number, maybe a massage is needed?
Roselyn-have you had good results with the insanity rotation?
Debbie-hello and have a nice rest

P.S. That dymatize nutrtion protein powder is delicious. I really look forward to it (chocolate mint and almond milk) with my caramel rice cakes aftera my workouts :D

I feel like my brain is frazzled. My workout today was Kelly's 30 minutes to fitness Cardio Blast mix step plyo blast plus 49 minutes and I burned 400 calories. I then did Amy Bento's Hi/Lo Dome premix intervals 27 min with w/up and stretch 200 calories. I followed this with all of Lawrence Biscontini's Foam Roller workout 65 minutes and burned 201 calories. There is a lot of core work in this with the rolls and yoga based moves, pilates based moves. Some balance moves sitting crosslegged on the roller balancing, feet off the floor and tossing a weighted ball(mine was 5#) from hand to hand. You also do some balancing holding the ball between your knees. The first part is just kind of some playing around then 13 minutes of myofascial stuff. About 17 minutes in he does some more myfascial stuff that really hurts:O Then the massage stuff is mixed in with the other stuff. I got my shopping done, expecting family to show up sometime today. I put the new Clean Eating Cookbook stacked vegetable lasagne in the oven. Have not eaten yet today except for som caulifllower when I was slicing it. Did't look at cooking time. I have to wait an hour.

Theresa, I know I did a job on myself somewhere. It only hurts up one side of my neck and head. Just so bad it kind of graduates to the rest of the head. I think that I have Dymatize protein powder before and you are right it is yummy.

Debbie, Tracey usually waits to do preorders till it is right close to filming time. I don't know why she didn't name it Strike Zone 2 or something. Actually I believe that she has a Kickbox Challenge workout I have it. I think that yesterday was the only day for free shipping but if you preorder it is still $14.99 and I think she is sending out a coupon for a free dvd excluding two of them.

Lora, I doubt that they would fire you because they have to know the economy is bad and it is not your fault. I don't like the way they lower your pay etc. That is not right. I was being honest about your picture, not trying to be gentle. You look great and are way to hard on yourself.

Roselyn, it seems most of the women I know that have done those workouts don't do the exact rotation. I think if you get results and post them you have to do it as is. I like to know how a specific rotation works for someone. Although I will say I am not real good at following to the letter myself so should probably not be one to talk. Glad to hear you are doing that.

Lora, I was being honest about the picture too! I think you look lovely, and as Diane Sue said, you're too hard on yourself! I would be stressed about work, too. I think the policy is unfair, personally. I mean, I can understand with sales they want to encourage you to be outgoing because they get a lot of sales, I'm sure, from people who maybe hadn't intended to buy something, but because a sales person interacted with them, they did end up buying something. However, you certainly can't force someone! If someone isn't buying, they're not buying, and that's no one's fault. Especially with the economy being so bad, a lot of people are drastically cutting discretionary spending. I certainly have.

Diane Sue, I wonder if you need to see a doctor...your neck sound pretty bad. I hope the pain and tenderness go away. =(

Yesterday I did Low Impact Circuit and felt off, really off. I actually felt light headed a couple of times and had to take more breaks than normal. I also cut out the last cardio section. Today, now, I am sick, so I guess yesterday my body was upset at being sick and not wanting to workout. Since I feel crummy today, I just did Ravi and Ana's Ultimate Stretch. In general, I'd like to add a bit more flexibility/yoga work in.
 
I took some Advil and had a nap. I used moist heat with the heating pad when I woke up and it helped some with this pain. At least it is more tolerable than earlier:confused: I found this link that was informative http://www.necksolutions.com/headache-neck-pain.html
I wouldn't buy any gadgets but there are exercises and suggestions for neck/headache related stuff. I had tears wanting to come out one eye this afternoon. I have experienced this before. The longest time I ever had this last was 3 weeks:eek: Tomorrow is 1 week. I sure hope I can get rid of it. If it keeps up I may go see the doctor Monday. I can't keep using Advil and Excedrin. I took Imitrex last night just in case. I guess it helped me sleep a little. Sorry, probably way more than you all want to hear.

Hermia, as posted above I am thinking I might go to the doctor. Although my headache experiences with doctors have not been good. DD got a lot of help from a neurologist for her headaches. I hope that you get to feeling better. There are so many viruses floating around right now.
 
I just wanted to say the stacked vegetable lasagne and the tofu creme brulee from the new clean Eating Cookbook were yummy. I need to go soak in the jacuzzi tub for a bit and hopefully my neck feels even better.
 
Hey Everyone,

I just wanted to let you know that I am not ignoring anyone, just been really tied up with things and my Dad is in the hospital. He will have a heart cath tomorrow and I will be there most of the day, so I will get back when I can.
