I thought that I would get this started. I slept in so am getting my coffee and then will go work out. I have to go get a couple of things I missed for dd's birthday dinner this afternoon. I am going to start with Kimberly Spreen's Combat Surge kickbox and med ball segments then go from there. I was thinking that I would do a total body workout today or at least a second lower body workout. I will report back later on the workout.​
 
Morning! No workout yet for me- today is technically a rest day but I can't do it. I am thinking light cardio of some kind while the kids nap. I would like to tackle Body Max or BM2 but I think that is a better idea for tomorrow. My butt is sore right now. Gotta love PS Legs, eh?

Diane Sue: KS sounds good, you inspired me. Maybe I'll do that one later. :)

Today was cardio and yoga. I chose Cardio Coach #1 and did excellent with it. Had energy and I really put my all into it. For yoga, I chose Yoga Stretch by Karen Voight. Really love that yoga workout.

Hi Maniacs -

This morning I did 321 Bulge Be Gone Level 3. Workout was 70" with stretch and I burned 620 calories. I also did a 1/2 hour stretch DVD and a 25" Classical Stretch - but I still feel tight.

I'm just getting ready for the concert and will be leaving for Pittsburgh in a little bit. I'm psyched for Papa Roach & Nickelback.....wooo hooo!!!

I got my workout in. Waiting for Bill to get ready to go into town with me. I did Kimberly Spreen's Cardio Combat Surge med ball mix and added in kickbox combo 1 39 minutes 266 calories.
I then did Slow Mo Total Body Challenge 1 46 minutes and burned 285 calories. I finished off with the Fusion Stretch from Kimberly's Surge workout. Total calories burned was 630. Workout was 1 hr 45 minutes. HR got up to 152. Not bad as it was not an intense cardio workout.
I put some turkey in a low carb wrap and set it on the counter while I looked for some veggies in the refrigerator. When I turned to get it it was gone. My dog Mudd was sitting here licking her chops :eek: She never takes our food. I guess she is getting used to the grandbaby feeding her hers.
 
This morning I did Drill Max Scambled Cardio premix and 2 sets of hanging knee raises really fighting the negative. Workout was 55 minutes and I burned 444 calories.


Debbie - Do you take BCAAs on cardio days? and if so when?
 
Afternoon! I did Kimberly Spreen's Cardio Combat Surge, but skipped the one med ball lunges section. It's a fun workout- love the strikes with the bar.

Poor kids have colds so I'm a disinfecting machine today- hope I don't get it.

The birthday dinner went great. I only ate a couple of bites of the ice cream cake that I made. My grandbaby wanted it:D The clean eating magazine Greek Salad was really good. I did add some spinach and olives to the recipe though. I got my Squeaky Gourmet book today. Can't wait to try some of the recipes.

Patti, what is up with the cold symptoms during the summer. I have been coughing and stuffy. Thought it could be allergies. It is getting better though. Hope you get it out of your house.That lunge segment with the med ball is a good one. I like how she pulls in some core work too. The one I find tough is when she puts the body bar on the floor and does all of those jumping moves.
