I am getting us started. I have grandchildren coming in a bit so need to go get started on my kettlebell and lower body workout. I will report back later. Hope everyone's injuries are doing better this morning.

GM Ladies-

Yesterday was supersets and steady state

SS1-
one leg bb squat- I really liked these
bb pullover to press
squat to bench jumps-these were tough...I used the high step and will up height ea. wk.
bb close grip presses

SS2-
overhead rear lunges-these made my hands numb
chin ups 3x15-these were killer
decline bench press
swiss ball push ups

20 min kcm kickbox as my treadmill is very finicky at the moment

Today was Plyo X again. Starting to get sick of this workout and it really doesn't get my HR up that much anymore. I hardly broke a sweat. Don't get me wrong, I still like the workout, but feel like I should be doing something different. Not sure.

HR STATS:
60 minutes
7 minutes below zone
17 minutes in zone
36 minutes above zone
461 calories burned

I really hate the "hot foot" move. I did jump rope instead.

Debbie - I agree with every word you wrote! I like Plyo X, but I am bored with it. I was actually considering doing something different today. And I also despise hot foot!

Theresa - Nice workout!

DianeSue - You sure are one involved Grandmom! What do your grandkids call you anyway?

Today was Plyo X, but I got up late and had to cut it a bit short. Which I didn't mind as I am bored with it!

Theresa - Nice workout! I love superset workouts!

Linda - LOL! I guess we need to something else next week. I'm missing my treadmill.

Today's workout was like this.
2 minutes w/up 50 15# kettlebell swings then Kettlebell Goddess legs and butt
joint mobility
box pistols 3 sets 4 reps 15# pair of kettlebells
low front squats 3 sets 6 reps 20# kettlebell pair
1 leg dead lift 3 sets 4 reps 15# pair kettlebells
step back lunge pass kb through front leg- 2 sets 12 reps 35# kettlebell
good mornings 3 sets 6 reps 20# kettlebell pair
1 swing, 1 clean, 1 snatch 5 reps left then right 20# kettlebell
50 kettlebell swings 20#
1x12 step ups 16 in. step for all sets 20# kettlebell pair
25 kettlebell swings 25#
1x 12 step ups 20# pair
25 kettlebell swings 35# kettlebell
1x12 step ups 20# pair
30 hand to hand swings 25#
This took 39 minutes and I burned only 210 calories. Had hard time getting HR up
Treadmill Hills 47 minutes 3.25 miles 352 calories(my right knee started hurting on the inside) I have been through this before. I think I am done with hills for a bit. Added to say that it might not have helped that I upped the high step to 16 inches for the step ups. I was hoping to build my rear up a bit.
I felt the need for lots of stretching so did kettlebell goddess stretch 7 minutes
kellys C's 30 minutes to fitness bootcamp bonus stretch 18 minutes(this is a good one for the legs) then I did some foam rolling and stretching 10 minutes dor a total of 35 minutes stretch.
Total calories burned today was 648, 2 hrs 1 minutes, Max HR was 149. Just wasn't getting it

Theresa, that looks like a good workout. I don't really like doing lunges or squats with overhead weights. It is just really uncomfortable and I am not sure what the purpose is.

Debbie, the cardio in P90X does get old. If you had P90X + I would suggest the Interval X and the Kickbox on that set. Maybe you could sub another plyo workout. Are you getting shock cardio?

Linda, the grandchildren call me Nana:D

Debbie and Linda-thanks. I would get tired of Plyo X also. Maybe an interval treadmill workout or interval step? I think it would be the same....

Diane Sue-Nice workout. I ordered the Kettlebell Goddess workout for my sister for Christmas. Before this rotation, did you use it often? And I am in agreement about the overhead work. It is not comfortable on my shoulders and the overhead squats hurt my back....according to things I read online, it is supposed to help strength, flexibility and all that other stuff blah, blah, blah...:D

Theresa, before this rotation I rarely used Kettlebell Goddess. Now that I have used it for the lower body though I may find myself pulling it out more. There are lots of options on it. There is one that is supposed to be more of a cardio mix and it used to really get my HR up and wasn't overly long. I think I am getting past the no music and set thing on it. Really once I bought the AOS ones I didn't want to do my Iron Cores or the Goddess one. That was before Amy came out with hers. That lower body workout is a good one. I think that holding weight above my head makes me lose control and messes up my form. Even when I go lighter.

Yeah, for a rotation that is "suppose" to shock the system it sure does get repetitive after awhile. I almost pulled out Cathe's Plyo Legs from STS and do just the plyos this morning, but I guess I am trying to stick with Tony.

That's a great idea about Shock Cardio, I am hoping to have it in my hands later today!:D I like the Nana, although most times it's hard for me to picture you as a grandmother because you look so great. I guess I associate grandmothers as the overweight gray haired women of my childhood.

Linda, you are so nice. Sometimes I feel like the Nana. Probably felt like that when I was younger too. LOL Glad you are getting your shock cardio today. Wish mine was here but thankfully it is still scheduled for Dec 24th. So I am sure I will be trying out something Christmas day.
