Hard core fitness maniacs November 2025

Today I did Caroline Jordan Osteoporosis Stronger Bones exercises followed by Jessica Valant Arm Workout with Dumbbells and ended with knee pain PT work, 45 minutes, 133 calories.
For some reason Caroline's peppy chattering about how great we were doing bugged me. Probably just my mood today.
Jessica Valant short 10 minute weight workout had a long add stuck in the middle:( At least Caroline did not have adds.
Jiessica Valant Arm Workout (suggested it could be repeated if someone had more time) She uses 15# and a lighter pair suggesting two sets.
Overhead press 10# dbs

Debbie, I do enjoy CDorner Cardio workouts. I guess that is why I do them a lot. She recently did several with 80s music on them.

Belinda, nice work doing the Pilates workout on demand. I bet that it was all beautiful to look at. Was in warm in the castle.

Today I did a relaxing evening stretch on the wall. It was perfect after running around all day long.

Diane - great job on Caroline Jordan Osteoporosis Stronger Bones exercises followed by Jessica Valant Arm Workout. I like my Pilates instructor she is very calm not to chatty. Maybe next time she wont be so chatty. Yes, the castle is heated and it‘s beautiful.

Tomorrow Pilates has a live zoom class in the morning my time. I will try to take that class.

Today I did CDorner Old School aerobics all standing 80's music, 44 minutes, 278 calories, heart rate 130/172, 4,272 steps. Afterward I did Jessica Valant, crunch free abs, knee pain PT, and Neck Pain Relief, 33 minutes, 62 calories. Total time 77 minutes, 340 calories.

Belinda, a relaxing wall stretch would be great after walking all day. Enjoy your day tomorrow and the zoom class.
 
Evening,

I did a live zoom Pilates class tonight.For some reason the Pilates calendar hasn‘t converted to the right time, it showed 9 am last night, this morning it showed 9 pm. I wasn‘t sure if I had the energy to do a live Pilates class late evening, glad I did.

We visit the Christmas market here in Garmisch Partenkirchen. It was cute put a small Christmas market. They had a park near by, so we walked at the park. I couldn‘t believe how many people walked in the park on the icy pathways. After a mile I had enough, I was afraid I slip and hit my head :( Thank goodness, I was pushing Sadies stroller, lol. Afterwards we went back to the house we rented at lunch and took of driving to another Christmas market, somehow we ended up in Austria instead, lol. We spend some time in Austria than headed back to Garmisch. The temperatures started to drop quickly, we didn’t wanted to be caught up driving in icy/snowy roads. They expecting a snow storm tomorrow. Looks like we are staying at the house tomorrow unless the roads are safe to drive. They are doing am amazing job keeping the roads clear especially on the Autobahns.

Diane - I love the wall stretch. It was nice and relaxing. Great job on CDorner Old School aerobics all standing plus Jessica Valant, crunch free abs, knee pain PT, and Neck Pain Relief. How do you like pilates? Is it helping you? I love it.

Yesterday was just shoulders and biceps today was back and triceps. Went back to Cathes first STS for a little bit.

No workout Sunday or Monday. I had a chest CT done today. Hopefully something tomorrow.

Belinda, be careful with the icy walks. I think the pilates helps alignment. It makes me feel better. Christmas stores sound like they would be fun.

Our stupid cats are meowing throughout the night again. W T F??? I haven't gotten a good nights sleep in a while. Looks like they will be in separate rooms tonight. WHY ARE THEY DOING THIS???? (Rhetorical question)

I forgot to post yesterday, I did RAW Kickbox NRG and had a pretty good workout. I like this one, it's a fun one. I also got on my treadmill for about 14 minutes to add some calorie burns.

Workout was 44 minutes, burned 352 calories, did 4849 steps and HR was 138/166.

This morning I did RAW Upper Body & Abs and had a good workout. This one is fun, I liked it.

Evening,

This evening i did a full body Pilates. I got a lot of steps in today.

Diane - I am very carful especially when the roads/sidewalks are icy.I feel the same way about Pilates. I feel better afterwards. If you travel it‘s easy to do.

Debbie - sorry you are not getting enough sleep. I would separate them too. I am carful on ice. It rained today, most of the snow is gone. Thank goodness. It is a sky resort.

Today I did CDorner All Standing Tabata after doing the warm up of today's new tabata workout which is not doable for me. It started out with some a close stance lunge touching hands to the floor. My knee was not happy with that. This was 34 minutes, 206 calories, heart rate 125/162, 2,509 steps. I then did Jessica Valant Full Body Pilates and Caroline Jordan Full Body Pilates with a mini ball, 30 minutes, 58 calories. Carolines workout was 18 minutes and no ads, and Jessica's was 13 minutes with one batch of abs. I do not get hers having so many ads. Some of Carolines moves were a bit hard for me. Holding a ball between my feet lying face down and lifting my feet off the floor did not happen and bear hold was not good for my wrist. I made some adjustments.

Debbie, I am sorry the cats are keeping you awake. My dog was doing that at night for quite a while. I kept getting up and sleeping in the recliner. He only did it when after my husband came in at 5:30 in the morning and went to bed. He did it so long and when I had appointments and had to leave, he would howl the whole time I was gone and keep my husband up. It wasn't the crate itself, as he has always been happy to go sit in his crate on his own. He likes someone there most of the time. It wears you out. I hope you can figure out something out. Good job on Kickbox NRG yesterday and today's Upper Body and Abs.
The pulmonologist has been doing regular Chest CT scans to monitor lung nodules that I have. One is bigger than the rest. I gather if they get to 8mm they may do more to check it out and rule out cancer or something else. Since I have never smoked it makes it less worrisome. My old pulmonologist that retired was going to let me stop the CT scans soon, but his follow up doctor that also had to quit working at the hospital was worried at the last report she got and set me up with the one I have now.

Belinda, nice job on getting in a full body pilates. Yes, pilates is pretty easy to do when not at home. I would want a mat though rather than hotel or cabin floors and carpet. My almost 17year old granddaughter has pilates sets of stuff and light dumbbells on her Christmas list. I thought she probably does not need things like the ring.

Well, I got a good nights sleep finally - put the one cat that is the worst with the noise at night in my workout room downstairs. Slept like a baby. I hate doing that to him, but geez. We need to sleep. I woke up and had energy I haven't had in a long while.

I did RAW Box a Better Waistline. This is the one with only Kelly and she uses her ankle weights. I used my 5# ankle weights and my 1.5# egg weights. I had an excellent workout and wow did my midsection get worked. Then I still have some time so I did RAW TS Box & Tone. It's been a while but I really like this workout and it added to the midsection workout. I didn't use my ankle weight for this one but did use my egg weights. Great workouts.

Total workout time was 51 minutes, burned 444 calories, did 3414 steps and HR was 143/187. My HR did not feel that high.

Roselyn - Great workout yesterday! Are you still using Caroline's workouts?

Belinda - Glad the snow is gone for now. Yes, finally got a good nights sleep. Stupid cat.

Diane - I hate workouts that have ads. Kelly has some but only when you do the public workouts. Her subscribed workouts don't have ads. I'm totally sick of Youtube adding ads in everything I watch. I could be watching a 10 minutes soap making video and they have 4 sets of ads throughout it. So frustrating!! Great job on your workouts! Hope the CT scan comes out ok. Animals are so weird. I think we are done with them for a while. Once our cats pass, I don't see us getting anymore any time soon. I love them dearly, but holy crap.

Today I did Gloved Up and Sweaty 40 minutes, 208 calories, heart rate 122/161. I finished with Caroline Jordan Posture Stretch, 10 minutes, 20 calories. I forgot I did this before and had to do some different moves to avoid the thoracic rotation. She sits on her knees while doing neck stretch. My knee did not like that. That was it today. I was busy this morning and did not even get to the workout till noon.
We already had Thanksgiving on Sunday so I think I will just make a pumpkin pie for tomorrow. My husband works.

Debbie, nice work on Box a Better Waistline and Raw Timesaver Box and Tone. I bet it was wonderful getting some good sleep. My husband said we were not going to get another dog after ours died and we came home shortly after feeling sad about how quiet it was not having our dog greet us when we came in, and the fun times with her. She could howl I Love You and was so sweet. Harvey is sweet at times, but keeps me quite busy and goes crazy when we come home. More so when my husband gets up in the afternoons. He knows before my husband comes out and is whining and pacing before he even walks out. I am the one that works on most of the outside stuff with him and he begs for me to go play. Butts me with his nose wanting me to go outside too. But, so sweet when he just goes to his crate when he figures out we are going somewhere, and when I fix dinner he will go sit in his crate on his own and wait till the plates are put up. I love him, but he is a lot of work and a huge dog.
I just started paying for no ads when we watch movies via Amazon Prime. It would not be so bad if there was just the ads between one video and another, but crazy all through a short workout. I watch a couple of dog trainers videos that I like and have learned a lot from and there are many ads all through.
 
Happy Thanksgiving,

I did pilates core (20 min) early this morning before we heading to Kehlheim to meet up with my kids, than we all heading to Nuernberg. Both my kids arrived yesterday. We will spend a week with my kids in Nürnberg. DH and I will spent some time with my sisters.

Today we are going today to my hometown which is Nürnberg. We did get a lot of snow in Garmisch yesterday. It is a ski resort. It does look pretty. Glad you got some sleep.

Diane - we do have a small carpet under the coffee table, I just put my travel yoga mat under. I also use a seat cushion when doing abs. You be suprise how much you can find away from home to make it work. So far it‘s working. I did bring some bands instead of weights. It‘s working out so far.

I need to get ready to take off. I will check in later tonight if I can.

Today I did LMR Functional Barre 51 minutes, 200 calories. I hope everyone has a nice Thanksgiving.

Belinda, good job getting in Pilates Core before leaving to meet your kids. Have a wonderful visit. It is nice that things were available that you could use. Bands work thing pretty well.
 
Today I had energy again so I got on my Max Trainer and did Cardio Coach #1. I started out doing one of the RAW Warmups and that really helped a lot. I wish I could fine the TS Warmup she did, that was a good one but I don't see it on her YouTube channel.

Workout was 46 minutes, burned 387 calories, did 2605 steps and HR was 141/185. I know I hit 185, I could feel it. Almost a puke status workout.

We had a great Thanksgiving and I hope you all did a well!!

Good morning,

I am still keeping up with Pilates. I am getting lots of steps in. Yesterday I had over 20K. Legs are feeling it.
Today we are going to Rothenburg an der Tauber. Later that evening we are meeting up with my family for dinner.
