Debbie, nice work on Raw Weights #1. I am seeing some improvement with my changes in workouts.

Roxie, nice job on the walk.

Roselyn, nice work on the back .

Good morning,

I got up super early to do a Pilates for hips. Glad I did it, my hips are tight.

This morning I did RAW Kickboxing #8. I am seriously i a funk. I took a sick day today because I have a dentist appointment later and I thought I'd be raring to go and do a good workout. Nope, didn't even want to do what I ended up doing. But I did have a good workout and glad I did something.

Workout was 30 minutes, burned 241 calories and HR was 134/166.

I've been dabbling in soapmaking and whipped body butters and having a blast. Today since I have some time I'm making a whipped body butter. I already made several soaps and plan on giving these out for Christmas - particularly for people at work. It's fun, I wish I had more time to do it. I'd start selling them at craft shows.

Diane - I'm glad the new workouts are helping you. That is good news!!

Great job with your workouts everyone!! Hope you have a great day today.

Today I did CDorner Step Aerobic #499 with little breakdown, 31 minutes, heart rate 122/147 heart rate, 2, 765 steps. I then did Caroline Jordon Upper Body no neck pain and osteoporosis upper body, 25 minutes, 87 calories. I ended with Caroline Jordan knee pain using yoga tune up balls and a block. My left knee has been really bothering me. It is the one I have had two surgeries on and lots of arthritis. This seemed to help along with Volteran and ice. This was 14 minutes. Total time 70 minutes, 297 calories. My dog thought the yoga tune up blue balls were his blue ball. He kept trying to get it out from under my knees.

Osteoarthritis upper body (she went really light) 45 sec work both workouts are short so I put them together. She does have paid stuff with full workouts. No advertises with Caroline Jordan so far.
1 arm row 10# db
seated biceps curls 10# dbs
overhead press 8# dbs
seated scapular rotation 8# dbs
chest press 8# dbs
skull crusher 8# dbs
prone back etension no weight
forearm plank hold

No Neck Pain Upper Body
chest expansion lateral rotation turning head right and left each set
biceps curls 10# dbs
chest press 8# dbs
chest fly 8# dbs
prone back extension
plank on forearms
tabletop scap dogs (scap squeeze instead of cat cow thing)
seated row body weight
seated on floor wall slide

Belinda, good for you getting in a workout this morning. Loosening the hips before the trip was probably a good thing.

Debbie, nice work on Raw Kickboxing #8. I kind of get in a funk with workouts sometimes. Right now, I spend way too much time looking for something that is going to fit my needs for the day and often feel I didn't work very hard. I like doing craft things and soap making would be a fun hobby. I am still tryig to find the time to get back into the painting I had started several months ago. I am at a part that needs plenty of time so I can work the water in it before the colors dry out and it is hard to blend. Plus I didn't like the first attempt and am painting over it with different shades and hoping it works. I need to get in the mood to push and do it.

Roxie, nice work on Ice Upper Body Premix #3 standing only.

Roselyn, good job on Lower Body.

Monday my mom passed out again and hit her head, this time getting a lot of blood on the brain. Yesterday she had to have emergency brain surgery to get the blood out to save her life. She is just now coming in and out of consciousness. I am so stressed out. Prayer for my mom Dorothy please. The surgeon has high hopes for her even though she is turning 90 years old next month.

This morning I did RAW Lift w/CardioAcceleration and had a great workout. I really liked this one. I can't remember if I've ever done it before? I don't remember the exercises but remember the name of the workout. But I enjoyed it. She didn't use any music so I played my own.

10 reps each exercise:

Dumbbell Shoulder Press: 12's/10's (she does these sort of weird, it was really hard with the 12's)
Butterfly: 10's/8's
Cardio: Knees
Repeat

Half/Full Biceps Curls: 15's/12's (tough!)
Hammer Up/Out/Up: 12's/10's (tough!)
Cardio: Pendulums
Repeat

Elevated Squats: 25#
Goblet Squats: 30#
Cardio: Side step/Shuffle
Repeat

1-Arm Gorilla Row: 20#/25#
Cardio: Kick/Knee Circles
Repeat

Connected Triceps Extensions: 10's
Dips
Abs: Knee-Ins
Repeat

Chest Press/Pinkies In: 15's
Close Grip Chest Press: 15's
Repeat - These were hard for me, my triceps felt it more than my chest did)

Workout was 42 minutes, burned 269 calories, HR was 119/148.

Jolie - Wow. I am so sorry to hear this. Your poor mom. I am praying for her and I hope she will recover fast.

Diane - That is my problem, I don't have any plan on what workout I want to do. I used to be so disciplined and have a rotation for every day. Not anymore. I fly by the seat of my pants. I waste so much time looking for a workout to do each morning, it's ridiculous. Yesterday I made a whipped body butter and had so much fun. I had the day off because I had a dentist appointment and figured I'd just enjoy a day off. The body butter came out nice. My next project is a coffee soap where you actually use coffee grounds in the soap. I'll probably do that on my Christmas break.

Roselyn - Great job with lower body yesterday.

Roxie - I see you are back on your rotation. Good job!

Belinda - Safe travel!! I hope you have a very wonderful time with your family!!

Have a great day everyone!

Today I did Caroline Jordan Low Impact workout for osteoporosis, 25 minutes, 175 calories, heart rate 139/163. I then did Osteoporosis Yoga with Caroline Jordan and another instructor, 16 minutes, 33 calories. I finished with Jessica Valant Physically therapy for knee pain and Pilates Neck Pain, 33 minutes for both, 65 calories. Total time was 74 minutes, 273 calories. I have done this knee pain workout before and my knee felt so much better. She explains why it works for different knee problems and suggests you do both sides unless you are short on time. My knee feels better this evening.

Jolie, prayers for your mother. I am so sorry this happened to her again. That is good they were able to do surgery right away. Praying your mother gets better and heals.

Debbie, good job on Raw Lift Cardio Acceleration. Coffee soap sounds interesting. I buy soaps sometimes from a woman who's family makes soaps as a project to help the needy and missions. She has been doing it for years and they now sell laundry soaps, deoderant sticks, lotions etc.. I buy my husbands shave soap from her around once a year and pick up a few bars. I am thinking coffee grounds would be good for scrubbing. I had a bar with flower petals that came off floating in the bath water.

Roselyn, nice work on Upper Body workout 2.0

I had all intentions to do a Cardio Coach workout on my MT but decided not to. I really wanted to do it when I thought about what I would do last night for this morning, but when I got up I just didn't have it in me. Plus my knees were bothering me.

I decided to do RAW Shadow Boxing #1 and had a great workout. I really got into this workout even though I HATE the music. OMG. But the workout itself is great. I used my 1.5# egg weights.

Workout was 41 minutes, burned 351 calories, did 3596 steps and HR was 140/174.

Roselyn - Great job!

Diane - Great job on your workouts. The knee one sounds interesting, would you be able to share that link? I really should try it out. That was another reason I didn't get on my MT this morning, my knees were bothering me. I would really love to sell soaps and lotions eventually. We'll see where this journey takes me. Wish I could retire so that is all I could do!! I named my soap "company" Pure Heaven Naturals. LOL!

Have a great day everyone!

Evening,

We had a rough day after we landed in Munich. There was a problem with the rental car, it took forever to strengthen that out. I realized at the car rental at the airport looking at our language at the cart, Sadie stroller wasn’t there. Nobody at the airport was willing to help us locate the stroller (the stroller was still at baggage clam. We already left the security. Finally we found Delta service center, they were useless. She ask one of us to go back through security than go to baggage clam and look ourselves, WTH? I am not kidding DH had to go through security then look for the stroller. I will put in a complaint. In the US Delta wouldn’t let you do that. We landed at 8:40 am didn’t leave Munich airport until 12 pm. I was tired, hungry and not in a good mood. It took us another 1.5 hours to drive to Garmisch Partenkirchen. We didn’t get any Euro at the airport we figured we pay the apartment with the credit card. We couldn’t understand why non of our credit cards worked? We found out later on there was a problem world wide. At that point we been up for over 24 hours trying every ATM machines in the area. No look. The owner was so nice, they said we can pay later or when we leave. They also gave us a nice welcome basket with organic fruits and products. They have a organic grocery store downstairs. Today we finally got some cash, yeah! We walked around Garmisch for over 1.5 hours. It’s so cold here, they have snow already. I needed to walk around. My legs are so swollen. They feel a little better now. I was so tired yesterday, for some reason I couldn’t sleep last night. Jet leg is kicking in. I hope I get a better night sleep tonight.

I didn‘t wanted to bring a lot of workout equipment to Germany. I figured I walk a lot. I did bring my travel yoga mat, loops and bands.

Today I did Pilates full body with the loops and lots of walking. Got in a lot of steps today.

Jolie - prayers for your mom. I am so sorry you having to go through this.

Diane - I am glad I did get a workout in Monday morning. Although I walked and got over 15 K steps at the airport, my legs still swoll up.

Debbie - I love soap and body creams. I buy they from a tiny store where my DD lives, they all organic and hand made. I would buy them from you if you start selling them.

Roslyn - great job!

I am getting sleepy. Good night. I will be back tomorrow.

Today I did Jessica Valant full body workout with weights 22 minutes, 70 calories. I used 8 lbs for the weights. I then did Jessica Valant knee strengthening exercises which is suggested to use after doing the PT for knee pain and feeling better. I did both. 28 minutes, 59 calories.

Jolie your mother has been in my prayers today.

Debbie I will post the link when I get on the computer tomorrow. I am on my tablet. I was going to do cardio, but decided to be nice to the knee another day. Good job on shadowboxing #1. Pure Heaven Naturals would be a good name:)

Belinda, what a rough start for your vacation. That is nice that they let you pay later and were welcoming.

This morning I did RAW Upper Body with Sammie and had an excellent workout. This is tough because there is very little rest. Music was pretty good.

This is how it went:

1 minute each exercise, 15 seconds rest

Triceps
Overhead Extensions: 8's
Kickbacks: 8's
Repeat

Shoulders
Lateral Raise: 8's
Alternate Front Raise: 8's
Repeat

Back
Lunge back Row: 12's
High Pulls: 12's/10's
Repeat

Chest
Pullover/Flies: 12's
Chest Press: 12's
Repeat

Deb Added:
Biceps
Hammer Curls w/Twist: 12's
Dumbbell Curls: 12's
Repeat

Abs
Crunch
Bicycle

Kelly didn't have bicep work so I added that. This was a tough workout. I rested a bit between some of the exercises and stretched. I really liked this workout. Workout was 39 minutes, burned 287 calories and HR was 129/162.

Belinda - Wow, what a mess at the airport. How frustrating! I'm glad you were able to find everything. I swear, there is no customer service anywhere anymore. It's truly sad and frustrating for everyone. Cloud Service was out during the time you were trying to use your credit cards. So it possibly was that if the credit card company used that service as their platform. Glad that worked out as well. If I ever sell my products, I will definitely post my website here!!! :)

Diane - Thank you for that link!! And thanks about the name of my products. I like it too!

Have a great day everyone!

Hi,

Today lots of walking and Pilates abs. It‘s been snowing all day long. We still had a lot of fun. They expecting a lot of snow tomorrow, not sure what we will do?

Debbie - It sure was a mess. I agree, customer service isn‘t what it used to be. If you ever sell put me on your waiting list, lol. I heard it on the German news about the cloud server plus my kids informed us too. Everything is working again. What a pain.

Diane - I used to do that workout. It‘s similar what they had me do in PT. I like the name for Debbie‘s products. It was very nice for them to let us pay later and the welcome basket. Everything in the basket is 100% certified organic products. Lots of fresh fruits.

I am getting tired. Still dealing with Jetlag.

Today I did Ice Low Impact Sweat workout #2, step with blizzard blast modified and skipped last plyometric blast, 36 minutes, 207 calories, heart rate 125/150, 2,662 steps.
I also did Jessica Valant downloaded Pilates & Physical Therapy Exercises for Scoliosis, 53 minutes, 103 calories. Total time was 89 minutes, 310 calories. My knee feels a lot better today.

Debbie, nice work on Raw Upper Body With Sammy. I don't remember that one not having biceps. Maybe I am thinking of a different workout with Sammy as I was thinking she did rows seated on the step. The knee PT work only takes 14 minutes.

Belinda, nice work on Pilates abs and getting in a lot of walking. I am not a fan of walking in the snow. I am glad you had fun and things are worked out well for you. That is great that the stuff was all fresh and organic.

So yesterday I went back to April of 2023 when I last did the workout I did yesterday so I could copy/paste it in. That's how I do all my lifting workouts and then I just change whatever is different. It's easier than typing it all up again. So while I was on that thread I was looking at what I was doing back then and I saw that I really liked a CDorner low impact workout. So I found it and did it this morning. It was as fun as I remember and had great 80's music.

I did CDorner's 30 Minute Low Impact Cardio workout. It was fun and glad it was only 30 minutes because I didn't have the energy to do anything else. Our stupid cat is doing that horrible gutteral meowing again throughout the night - which is totally ridiculous - and woke us up at least three times. He will be spending the night in my workout room tonight. Sick of it.

Workout was 33 minutes, burned 255 calories, did 3612 steps and HR was 133/176.

Belinda - Hope you're having lots of fun with your family!!

Roselyn - good job with your workout.

Diane - Nice job with your workouts! I'm not sure why Kelly skips biceps in this one, but it's no problem adding something in. I just time it for a minute and then did two sets. There are several workouts with Kelly and Sammie. I wonder where she's been lately (Sammie)? And I notice Kelly has hardly put out any new workouts since she started the Youtube channel. I hope that changes soon.

Jolie - How is your mom?

Roxie - Where you be?

Have a great weekend everyone! Looking forward to a 3 day week next week. Yay!!

Hi,

this morning I did a 40 min Pilates class OnDemand.

It was snowing so bad, we didn‘t wanted to risk going outside. After a few hours we decided to drive to Schloss Linderhof (king Ludwigs castle). I been there so many times, it’s always breathtaking to see. It was snowing so beautiful despite the cold/snow. We also went to Oberammergau and Ettal ( monks make their own beer). I will attach a picture.

Debbie - I will met up with my family next week. We are having lots of fun. Great job with your workouts.

Diane - I am not a fan of snow either, lol. Coming from someone that was born and raised in Bavaria, I seen lots of snow in my life. I do prefer the warmer weather. Great job with your workouts.

Good night.
