Good morning,

I did a nice Pilates stretch. I don‘t have a lot of time today, it‘s my husbands birthday. getting ready to celebrate it.

Yesterday's workout was P90X Back and Biceps and had a great workout. I also took a 2 mile walk and boy did I sleep well last night. Today I walked the pup 3 miles, it is going to be a warm one today. 80 degrees at the beach, I have my lounge chair out on the deck with a good book to start. I love these warm Fall days...

Debbie, great job on getting through the workout, I hate when you get all excited and then it isn't as good as we had hoped.

Good Evening,

I did Raw 4 Days Split Hips/Glutes & Abs this is the start of week 4. It is so cold here. Had girls weekend in Omaha Nebraska and it was snowing when I left yesterday

Jolie-they are doing a new P90X with another trainer who is younger.

Debbie-I noticed she is putting a lot of her sons music in the workouts

Today I did Lift Move and Restore Upper Body, Timesaver #2(leaves out a lot of the band work), 39 minutes, 135 calories. I finished with Caroline Jordan Posture Stretches and Jessica Valant pilates for back pain, 18 minutes, 34 calories. I skipped a couple of moves in the pilates work.
 
No workout for me today. I was walking with a friend yesterday and slipped off curb, rolled my ankle and fell on my hands as well as hitting my forehead lightly on the concrete! I thought I broke my ankle and wrists, but I am feeling pretty good today believe it or not! I used my infrared light, and it took all of the swelling away and as well as the pain. However, my back is so out of alignment that sleeping is brutal as well as sitting and bending over. My chiropractor cannot get me into see her till next Friday so I am not sure what I can do to make myself feel better. I can walk the dog but working out today will never happen.

Roxie, great job on the workout. I have to look into who is going to do the new P90X program, I love it, but I only like the first set that came out, the other two are not my jam. I like only traditional lifting workouts, no compound exercises or extreme ones that I could never do at my age.

This morning I did RAW Heavy Bag/Shadow Boxing and had a great workout. Love this one, my favorite boxing workout.

Workout was 40 minutes, burned 292 calories, did 2246 steps and HR was 131/18. My HR never go that high, not sure what that's all about.

No time for personals. I have Academic Challenge tomorrow and was out at the site where it is held to set-up for it. Tomorrow is the challenge so I probably won't post until later in the day.

Great workouts everyone! Jolie, I'm sorry to hear you fell and hurt yourself. Glad you are feeling fairly well today. Yikes!!

Today I did Kelly Coffey Cardio Fit workout #1 and first cardio of workout #2, 36 minutes, 213 calories, heart rate 129/165, 2,363 steps. I used 15# dumbbells for the lower body weight segments between the boxing. I finished with CDorner Neck and Back Stretch that she put up today. Okay, but quite a bit of twisting and cat cow. I had to improvise. 29 minutes, 58 calories.
Total time was 65 minutes, 271 calories.

Belinda, nice work on the pilates stretch. I hope you had a nice time celebrating your husband's birthday.

Jolie, nice job on P90X Back and Biceps and the walks. Ouch on the fall. I hope your back gets better and rest will help.

Roxie, nice work today on Raw Fine Tuning day 2 of the four weeks and yesterday's 4 day split hips and glutes. It was really cold here yesterday and we had our first frost. It gets much colder in Nebraska. It is warming back up which makes me happy.

Debbie, nice work on Raw Heavy Bag/Shadowboxing. I hope thing went well today.
 
Real quick post, Academic Challenge is done. Had a good time but I have such a stress headache. I just want to go home.

This morning I did RAW Weights 2 and had a great workout. I like this one but I need more breaks so I paused it between some sets. She rushes through it with only a 10 second rest period and it's a strength workout. Definitely need more time to rest.

Each move was 45 seconds with a short maybe 10 second break. These were not done circuit style, most were 2 sets unless I wrote differently.

Deadlift/Squats x2: 15's (I only did deads)

My knees were really bothering me today

Tate Press: 10's - 2 sets
Seated Bent Over Lateral Raise, Thumbs Up: 10's - 2 sets
Seated Overhead Press to Triceps Extension: 10's - 2 sets

Abs - Some - got bored

Workout was 40 minutes, burned 233 calories, HR was 115/156.

I am feeling a bit better today. My back still hurts but the other injuries are feeling better. I walked the pup 4 miles this morning and my ankle is doing good. I laced my shoe tighter than usual and that helps with supporting it.

Great job on the workouts everyone. I have so much yard work to do, we have heavy rains coming in on Friday for 4 days and I have to pick up all of the leaves, so my drains do not back up and flood my back yard. We need rain really badly; I welcome it when we get it. Since the government shutdown, no chem trails to manipulate the weather and surprise surprise we are getting rain.

Today I did do a weight workout, but I did an easier one just to be on the safe side. I did CL All In Upper Body and had an excellent workout. This is one of my all-time favorite workouts, no repeat style with no dread factor. We are supposed to have 4 inches of rain in the next four days starting tomorrow, that is unheard of in Southern CA. I cleaned the whole backyard yesterday, cleaned the decks of leaves so the drains do not back up and put away all of the furniture. I live with 3 grown men, and I had to do it all since everyone was working. Not so great for my back issue at the moment. Why they could not do it over the past weekend is mind boggling but my husband is not a planner, that is me.

This morning I did RAW Tabata Boxing. That is one fun workout, I really enjoyed it and I like the music as well. Then I got on my treadmill and walked for about .75 miles.

Total workout time was 47 minutes, burned 348 calories, did 4193 steps and HR was 130/153.

Jolie - Glad you guys are getting rain. I'm also glad you are feeling better. Good job getting all your yard cleaned up, nothing worse than floods!!

Roselyn - Great job on your workout.

Belinda - When do you guys go to Germany? I bet you are really looking forward to it!

Today I Did Jessica Valant Osteoporosis exercises a Routine for Stronger Bones(she talks at first about what not to do with osteoporosis), then tried an Arm weight workout and stopped after the 3 sets of overhead press it started with. She was using 15 and 20# dbs and I used 5 and 8#, So I moved on to Caroline Jordan Osteoporosis Exercises, so weights ended at 34 minutes 129 calories. I then ended with Jessica Valance 20 minute Full Body Stretch, 20 minutes, 51 calories. Total time 54 minutes 180 calories.

Debbie, good job on the Raw Tabata Boxing workout and Raw Weights 2.

Jolie, I am glad you are doing better and got in a walk. I am sure the rain is welcome. I hate when they think they can manipulate the weather. Good job on CL All In Live workout in today.

Today I did Kelly's RAW Weights 1 and had an excellent workout. I like this one, it's tough. I wish she'd do more of these types of workouts. This one and the one I did earlier this week are awesome.

Tabata style, 25 seconds on/10 seconds off. 8 rounds each exercise.

I skipped planks due to time and due to the fact that I hate them.

Good Afternoon,

I went for a 2.41 mile walk it 75 outs so I couldn’t resist. We bought a new car Wednesday so it’s been a busy time trying to get it insured and dropping full cover on the other two vehicles. I haven’t finished the last wee of the rotation Kelly gave me I am behind 3 workouts.

Evening,

Today I finalized my suitcase, lol. I ended up with DD‘s help taking a few things out. I am beat. Looking forward to a vacation.

I did a live zoom full body Pilates.

Not sure if I have time tomorrow morning to get a workout in or not? If not, oh well.

Our flight to Germany is tomorrow.

I will try to check in tomorrow, if not on Tuesday.
