Hard Core Fitness Maniacs for week of Oct 8

Today I did Jillian Michaels Yoga Meltdown. What a great workout. I did the first one on the DVD. I'm glad it was only a half hour. Really cool workout!

I am away from home so no workout. I wanted to do yoga but I have 2 appts and taking grandchildren to school and picking them up. Things later too.

Debbie I have that workout and really like it. I also have one in a Brook Benton set called cardio yoga both are nice.

Today was cardio but I woke up with a headache and really didn't feel much like running. However, I made myself get on my treadmill and do something. I wanted to do CC #2 but my mp3 player wouldn't come on. Not sure what is wrong with it. Luckily I have all my CC workouts on a server so if I need to reload them I can. So I just did some hills and a few 1 minute jogs. Not a stellar workout but it was something.

CARDIO STATS:
35 minutes total
6 minutes below zone
29 minutes in zone
29 seconds above zone
269 calories burned
1.5 miles traveled

Diane Sue - I'll have to check out that other yoga workout you mentioned. I'm having fun trying this new stuff out. :)

Hello :D:D:D:D:D:D

I am feeling fantastic this morn, seriously:rolleyes: This morning, I started with 15 minute w/u on treadmill. And I’ve FINALLY, started STS, did d-1 chest shoulders and biceps. Since I’m into the first phase/endurance today: I only used 8 and 10 dumbbells and a loaded bb of 25 lbs; surely I will get stronger:cool::cool::cool::cool:

Debbie: Still........ you did good; thinking of all the times I did nothing kudos to you:)

Has anyone thought about ordering Xtrain?

Today I did Supersets. I forgot how much I love that workout. It's perfect for what I'm trying to do right now. Went light, but pretty much matched Cathe's weights (that's light for me! LOL!) and had a great workout. I was sweating like crazy by the time I was finished. Next week I think I'll do Push/Pull.

Morning :D

Wish I had gotten up early:confused: but for reasons; I did not sleep good, not sure what happened, bc I had a kick ass workout scheduled.

Anywho, I did legs & glutes:cool:

Debbie: nice job:)

Rose: Me too, I am a sucker for Cathe love this woman. I'm going to order next week:)

I am back home. No workout today but I am sure I will make up for it the next few days:) I enjoyed the break. Ate terrible!! So I feel terrible. Anyway I cannot wait to get back to what is normal for me.

Roselyn, I did not order Cathe's yet and I have every single one of her workouts. I have certain ones I am interested in and I am not sure why I haven't ordered. I have so many workouts and everything just seems like variations on the same stuff which I know works and Cathe always has everything lined up and music perfect but I just have not ordered. I looked before I left and know I want that cycle workout. Others I want too. Budget accounts for a lot too. I am sure I will get them all but may be asking for gift cards or something to get them.

Teddy, glad to see that you are back. Legs and Glutes kicks my Butt LOL
Debbie, I know those are light workouts for you but I bet you are getting nice results anyway. I am glad that you are back at it again. I hope things continue to progress well. You are better than me at backing off I think. I do but not total rests for as long as you can do them.

Hey guys,:D

This morning, I did d-2 back & triceps, that’s it; I am expecting the second week to be much better as far as me getting up so that I can get in the workouts I know I should:)

I just finished eating #2 meal, which was my favor grits & egg whites. First time ever buying egg white liquid at Giant Eagles they have it on sale 2 for $5.00, and that's pretty good considering the actual prices. Any who, I will never buy again, just didn't like the way they look or tasted, thought I share.

Diane: welcome back:)

This morning I did Beast Block 3 week 2 Bulk shoulders and Bulk back. Now I am caught up. Well, maybe we have plans tomorrow for a breast cancer awareness day. I would have to get up really early. Anyway those two workouts were 64 min and 365 calories. I then did Turbo Fire Fire 30, 284 calories. Total time was 94 min and calories burned 649. I bought some powdered chocolate peanut butter. Wonder how it will taste? Maybe it will only be good in shakes:) Anyway I thought I would try it since it has less fat. But, I am picky about any peanut butter so it may not be the best idea.

Teddy, I buy eggbeaters but generally use whites from eggs because they do not taste right out of a carton. Funny thing is that the egg substitute omelets at IHOP are good. I think it is because they throw pancake batter in with them.

TGIF:)

This morning, I did Cardio Kicks and had a real blasts. Man oh man, had a hard time getting my legs to cooperate:D:D MY ENTIRE BODY IS FREAKING SORE;) and you know I am loving it.

Diane: I'd def have to say! You are officially caught up (NICE);)

Rose: as always, nice work:)

I haven't worked out yesterday or today, my mother-in-law passed last night. She's been quite sick for the past 2 months and now she is finally at peace. Getting funeral arrangements done today. I'm hoping to be back at it on Monday.

Today I did Beast Cardio and abs 41 min, 363 calories. Headed out for a breast cancer awareness function with DH. I was supposed to do arms but decided to switch it around.

This morning I did Beast block 3 week 2 Bulk Arms. I then did Rev abs Power Intervals because I thought some cardio and some leg work would be good. I finished with Rev abs mercy abs and merciless abs. This was my first time using Rev abs workouts. I liked them.

Debbie, I am sorry about the death of your mother in law. Sending my thoughts and prayers out to you.

Today I did cardio and chose Cardio Coach #5. I just needed to do something. The wake is this evening so I'm going to work today. I will be leaving early, though. Had a great workout.

CARDIO STATS:
58 minutes total
6 minutes below zone
21 minutes in zone
32 minutes above zone
487 calories burned
3 miles traveled

Diane Sue - Thank you!

So sorry about your mother-in-law, Debbie

I did Supersets today, I think you did this last week, Debbie, and it made me look at some old dvds that are still good. I enjoyed the workout and it was something different since I have been heavy lifting certain body parts. Good solid workout.

Diane Sue, I have the powdered peanut butter, I like it but have read some blogs about it that they fill it with more sugar or something, I don't know but it is good in shakes and sometimes I make it and put on a protein pancake to save some fat for later, when I have my all time fave food, real PB!!
