Kick started my workout last night. I ran 5 miles; my legs were to tight, afterwards, worked in my yard for an hour. I was late for work this morning overslept big time lol. Tonight, I am going for another run.
This morning I tried two new workouts. I did Amy Bento Ross Hip Hop Walk, 56 min, 273 calories. This is not hard but is dancey. It was kind of fun but I still feel clumsy LOL. Then I did her Drop Sets skipping bicep, triceps and most of the shoulders. I did take the time to preview the other sections and note the moves so when I do them I will be ready. Amy uses some lighter weights but she does add some elements to make it hard even lighter. I did go heavier than her on most except chest and shoulders. There are 3 premix splits that look good and you can choose bodyparts separately using the chapter menu. I think the splits would be a good way to do it and go heavier. Almost all exercises are done as 8 rep heaviest, 10 rep drop, 8 rep drop. Sometimes she adds different elements to increase the intensity as you drop the weight. For instance, Sumos Squat was done 8 reps with dumbbells in the rack position, 10 reps with dumbbells held up above the shoulders and out to the side, 12 reps dumbbells overhead. Total calories for this was 70 minutes but I did have some pauses to write things down, calories burned 265. I am sure if I wasn't trying to take notes and just did the sets as intended the calories would have been better. Tomorrow I will try to get in triceps and biceps but I did them yesterday so decided to hold off. I won't do all of the shoulders. There was quite a bit over shoulder stuff in the other bodyparts and I don't want that neck pain and headache to happen.
Teddy, good to see you are back at it. Nice job on the run
