Hard Core Fitness Maniacs for Tues June 28

Cardio today, I chose Imax 2 and a Hiit 15, and 10 abs TF.

Eats
M1-egg whites on ezekial tortilla
M2-protein shake
M3-apple and peanut butter
M4-salad with chicken, blueberries, strawberries (Panera Bread)
M5-yogurt
 
Today was a total body workout and I chose High Reps. WOW! It was tough and I loved every minute of it. Every muscle in my body was shaking when I got done. Cool exercises and just tons of reps, different rep counts, etc. I went really light (although you can't really go heavy with these kinds of workouts) and was really careful about my shoulder. My traps are still hurting, too. I can't help but wonder if it's my motorcycle. I think the handle bars are too far away from me. I'll have to have my dh adjust those for me. Did I tell you all I got a new motorcycle?

Anyways, loved this workout. Can't wait to do it again! I'm already sore! I sweated my @ss off, too!
 
This morning I did Urban Rebounding Extreme-MT Amy Bento Kickbox Metabolic Intervals 53 minutes, 429 calories, Avg HR 131 Max HR 164. I then did URX-MT Greg Cook Metabolic Intervals w/up which is planks, then the first cardio interval segment and forwardaed to the final ab work using sand weights 20 minutes, 145 calories, Max HR 160. I did Cathe's Ab Circuits Med ball abs no partner 10 min 51 cal and finished off with Brook Benton's Yoga Burn 27 min 163 calories. You would think my arms would start getting stronger on this one. It always kills me. All of those slow tricep pushups and holds into up dogs. By the time I get near the end and get to the pidgeon I am relieved. Total time was 1hr 50 min and calories burned was 788.
Meals yesterday
1- ezekial toast with peanut butter
2-a few fresh cherries
3- Cool Greens Grilled chicken chipotle ranch salad
4- lower sodium turkey lunch meat with sargento reduced fat swiss cheese rolls spread with some low sodium jalapeno mustard I found and green beans

Debbie, I love doing High Reps. It is such a good workout and I don't get bored doing it. It usually gives me a nice calorie burn too:D What kind of bike did you get. The only thing I do with our bike is go out and start it every couple of weeks.

Diane Sue - I got a Yamaha V-Star Classic 650. My other one was a 250. I love this bike, more power, a bit bigger, a bit heavier. Very fun to ride. I need to adjust my handle bars, though, because my traps get tight when I ride to work. So you haven't been on any bike rides lately?
 
Debbie, that is a nice bike. We had one. No, rides. Really not much of the usual activity here with dh gone. I just seem to be really busy just keeping up with things that he would usually help take care of. I rarely even find time to look at television. I bet the handlbar adjustment will help. I see some people riding their bikes in the oddest positions and think how bad that could be if you were going for a long ride.
