Hard Core Fitness Maniacs for Thurs June 29

Did Pyramid Upper Body, have not done that one in a long time,it was good to totally do something different, then I did some leg work.

Eats

M1-high fiber cereal with blueberries
M2-protein shake
M3-apple, peanut butter
M4-salmon, veggies
M5-yogurt
 
Today was Day 2 of Couch to 5K. Had a great workout. I love these 30 minute cardio workouts. This is what I'm talkin' about!

Today I upped my speed to 4.7 mph and did 60 seconds on at that speed and 90 seconds at a fast walk pace on 3% incline.

HR didn't get as high as it did on Monday. I felt really good running. However, I didn't burn as many calories as I did on Monday. Weird.

I also did the Ab work from High Reps that I didn't do yesterday. Great ab workout! I am sore from yesterday but no like I thought I'd be. My quads are sore the most.
 
I slept in this morning. No grandchildren and no appts or people coming. I heard thunderstorms around 4 am. They subsided and started again at 6. I stayed in bed. I do not have that luxury very often. When I got up I remembered the Schwans guy is due to come. He did not show up last time. So I did Amy Bento's All Pump Extreme 2 sets premix. I forgot that this is really not all 2 sets:0 This was 81 min and calories burned was 461. I then did Brook Benton's Cardio Pump Fusion Kettlebell Crank and stretch 20 min 141 calories to get in a little cardio and more stretching. 141 calories. Total calories burned were 602 and time spent was 1 hr 41 min..

Debbie, I record calorie burns with different workouts and it comes out different a lot. I think sleep patterns, how much caffeine I drink, how I am feeling makes a difference. Not a lot though. You did change the workout though. I am happy if the calorie burns are close because I know there is nothing wrong and that is probably where it should be.

Roselyn, I do enjoy going back and doing something I have not done in a long time. That is what I did today with Amy's workout.

Diane Sue - I'm glad you finally had a morning where you weren't running all over the place. I'm sure you enjoyed it. Nice going with your workouts!
