Cardio, cardio today, I did Cardio Fusion Mix and Max 80 minutes and MIS abs. Tomorrow I will start week 4, Mesocycle 3 chest and back. Then on to a new rotation after next week. Happy Saturday everyone.
Arnold Press - 15's/12 reps - 4 sets ***I actually lowered my weights on this one. Did 20's last time but my form was sloppy and I just didn't have it in my today to do 20's or higher. This felt good and I had really good form.
Barbell Upright Rows - 55#/12 reps - 2 sets Barbell Upright Rows - 55#/11 reps - 1 set Barbell Upright Rows - 55#/10 reps - 1 set ***Up 3#. This was tought. Last 3 reps were killers in each set.
TRAPS: Standing Dumbbell Shrugs - 40's/25 reps - 4 sets ***Up 3#. These really burned towards the end.

Roselyn - Wow girl, nice workout. 80 minutes is long time to do cardio, especially for me. I bet your burned mega calories with that workout!!! Nice job!

I did Insanity's Plyo Cardio Circuit yesterday. My legs were a little sore (doesn't happen often, so I hadn't really planned for this). I don't recommend doing Insanity with already sore muscles. Most people could likely figure that one out on their own. Evidently the obvious continues to elude me On the upside, I think that workout ran the doms right out of my legs and they feel pretty good now. Today, I have Upper Body Pyramid planned. I will likely do a split (need to figure out) and repeat the descent (like I did last time) -- also some steady state. Theresa got Powerstrike stuck in my head -- I may go with that.
I am getting ready to head to Target. This mornings workout was Amy's Step Challenge 4 including the power ups 59 min,438 calories. Then I did STS mesocycle1 week 2 disc 4 chest,shoulders,&biceps which took me 62 min with stops and changes, 340 calories, I finished off with Flexible Warrior Athletic Warrior Vol 3.0 Sw...im 10:39 min 30 calories. Total calories burned today was 808 and time spent was 2 hr 11 min..
Roselyn - YES. I think it's an excellent workout series and I really can't say enough good things about it. I'm really, really enjoying it. I do not always REMEMBER this during the workouts , but I think they are just what I've needed. Very tough - but doable and always room for a bit of improvement, even if that just means trying to go a little faster next time or whatever. I've really come to like Shaun T, too - he's motivating and SMART in the way he designed the whole program, I think (including the recovery). I remember asking you about Insanity when I was kicking around whether or not to try it. Your high opinion of it was part of what convinced me to go for it. Thank you. I'm really looking forward to the 2nd month (already previewed the workouts), too. No doubt that when I've finished the rotation, I'll include them (like you do) on their own.
