I moved furniture yesterday and tripped over a table leg last night. Kept waking thinking it really hurt. It is really bruised this morning. I wasn't sure I felt up to a workout but ended up doing one. I did Kettlenetics Cardio Balanced 47 min, 306 calories, Max HR 148. I knew this would not require a bunch of jumping and had a lot of core in it which was my focus today. I had to omit the calf pump thing they do in one portion. I followed this with Rapid Fire standing and floor abs and stretch 23 min, 102 calories. Total time was 70 min and calories burned 408.
Roselyn, nice workout. I have done the I Max and then added the challenge from Rhythmic step at the end. Good combo choice
I'm just checking in to say you all probably won't hear from me for two weeks. I'm resting for two straight weeks to get this muscle in my upper back unknotted and functioning again. I resorted to wearing a sling since Saturday, it has helped tremendously. But I'm afraid to do any type of workout, running or otherwise, because the jarring irritates it. I've come to the conclusion that I have a pinched nerve. Ice has helped a great deal but using my left arm as much as I do hasn't let it heal enough to stop hurting. So I'm done. I need to get this thing to heal or something worse will happen.
I'll be reading the thread and commenting here and there. But don't look for my workouts to be posted until hopefully Sept. 12th. That's when I will start up again.
Diane Sue, where did you order the Sharon Twombly dvd from?
Debbie, sounds good, rest and get better.
Just asking around to find out what kind of shoe people wear for excercising, I am due for a new pair and trying to find the best kind any suggestions?
