HARD CORE FITNESS MANIACS FOR MON JAN 31

Did Total Body today and Hiit 20 TF. Waiting for bad winter storm here, yuck, snow not bad but we are expecting an inch of ice first. Have a good day and good workouts everyone.
 
Today was total body and I had a good workout. Left knee is still really bothering me. It now hurts to bend it. I've been icing it and trying to take it easy, but you know how that goes.

I had to skip the leg part of this workout which bummed me out, and I have no clue what to do about cardio this week. I'm thinking just skipping it or walking lightly on my treadmill. Jumping on it won't help, I'm sure.

Todays workout:

4 sets/5 reps with 1 minute rest between each set.

Chinups - 5/5/5/5 unassisted
***Could have done more but my elbow was still feeling weird. I can't win!
Flat Bench Barbell Press - 95#
Stiff Leg Deadlifts - 90#
Barbell Curls - 55#
***Lowered weight here due to my elbows.
Close Grip Bench Press - 80#
 
Roselyn - An inch of ice? - Yuck is right. We have sub-zero temps in our forecast and some snow for the next couple days. So much for spring fever :confused: Hope you don't have to go anywhere on that stuff. Was it STS Total Body? That's a good one :)

Debbie - So sorry about the knee (and the elbow???). Dang girl :( . The rest of your workout looked really good. I hope you recover quickly.

I had a very good leg workout yesterday. I'll get in some kind of cardio tonight -- thinking about interval circuit (50/10).

Hey you guys:D

I am home today, eek!!! a bit tired and not feeling my best. I thought I felted like working out, but, not happening. I only got half way though Drillmax warmup then decided no cardio. So I am going back to bed and will do Muscle max later, ttyl.
 
I got my workout in and am getting ready to head out on some errands for the Vegas trip and to see the new grandbaby again before I leave:D
I started with Jari Love's Extremely Ripped Bootcamp workout 2 and added on the 3rd round combo which is crab, lunge/bicep/arnold press, jump squats 56 min 411 calories max hr 165. Workout 2 has more work on the floor than workout 1. Then I did High Reps Upper body adding on the back 43 min 283 calories. Workout was 99 min and calories burned was 694.

Debbie, I hope that leg gets better quickly. You got in a nice workout anyway.

Roselyn, we are supposed to start getting the bad weather this evening. I am just hoping to be able to get to the airport Wed morning.
 
Roselyn, I that weather is on it's way. Freezing cold already and the winds are picking up. They are talking blizzard conditions. It was not nice last year when it did this. DH was gone and the power was out. I could not get out of the garage for days. Everything blew up into our drive and in front of the garage and front door. It stays shaded in that corner so the ice took a long time to melt that was under the snow. My son and grandchildren came to help me dig out of here.
