Hard Core Fitness Maniacs for Mon Aug 21

Everyone back to school today, my son who is a junior in hs went back last week, my daughter who will be 20 goes to our community college and starts back today,

I did Gym Style back, shoulders and biceps and TF abs.

What supplements if any do you all use? Just researching.

Today I did Cardio Coach #6 with Sean and I had an excellent workout. Went balls to the wall with this one. It felt great.

Still have a slight pinch in my shoulder blade area but I only feel it when I'm sleeping and my arm is up by my face. I'm going to try and do a total body workout tomorrow but I will be very careful. I'll see how I feel tomorrow moring.

Anyways, today stats are:

CARDIO STATS:
57 minutes total
9 minutes below zone
23 minutes in zone
30 minutes above zone
3.25 miles traveled
476 calories burned

My HR monitor wasn't working right, damn thing. Oh well, it kept track most of the time.

My air conditioner went out Saturday night. Someone is supposed to be out today. It appears to be the same thing that they fixed in June:mad: It was hot in hear yesterday. No workout yesterday. I just sat till I finally decided to go to dd's and eat dinner and cool off. Had a long soak in the tub when I got home with a fan going.
It was 81 outside when I got up this morning. I think it was hotter in here. I was awake at 4:20 but had to push myself to go workout. Anyway, I did it. I drug the big old box fan from the garage and got started. I started with Intensity w/up and step 30 min, 285 calories, avg hr 145 and max hr 170 which is up there for me:D I then did 4 Day Split biceps and triceps with the str. 32 min 203 calories. Total time was 62 min and 488 calories. It was tempting to jump around to get to 500:D I had to get my grandson to school though.

Debbie, nice work and burn on the CC. I hope your shoulder lets you do your total body workout tomorrow. You could just skip the shoulder work though. I think some of the other work does stress that area some too though. I am bad about putting my arms up under my pillow and waking with neck pain and a headache.

Roselyn, my grandchildren started back to school last Thursday and my dd that teaches was back at school on Monday. That just means more work on my part:) Scheduling everything is tough.

Roselyn - I take: Vitamin C, Calcium, Glucosomine. I think that's it. I use to take BCAA's but haven't bought any since I ran out a few months back. I should get some but I haven't noticed a difference with anything since being off them.

Diane Sue - Hope you get that fixed soon, must be miserable! It was only about 55 degrees this a.m. here when I left the house to go to work. I rode my bike and had my insulated riding jacket on plus gloves! BRRRR!! It's only suppose to be 70 degrees today. These are the days that make you love Ohio! :)

P.S. Don't forget to preorder the new Rapid Fire workout if you want it. Go to brucechung.com and you can order it there. Free shipping through Saturday this week.

Roselyn, yes the bands clip to the rebounder. They are two pieces of tubing, blue and green hooked to one handle and two hooks on the other end not hooked to a handle. I see some that look like them on their Urban Rebounding Extreme site but was wondering why it looks like they have two handles attached. There are sets on Amazon from bodyelastics that have handles and tubing that hooks onto them. I am not sure how long they are though. You work with the two pieces of tubing together and they are probably 2 1/2 feet long.

Debbie, I preordered Susan Chungs workout this morning:D It is a great deal. I would worry if it was that cool here because I would be afraid winter was coming. Really didn't have a great winter either of the last two years and I hate being snowed in out here.

Hope you get your AC taken care of soon, Diane Sue! Personally, when I'm home alone I leave mine off part of the day, but my husband would be so miserable without AC. He really needs it cold.

Today was the upper body premix from High Reps and then I did some yoga on my own afterwards.
