Hard Core Fitness Maniacs for Mon April 25

Today I did Cardio Fusion and the glute challenge from one of Bob Harper's dvd.

Oh my goodness, now to stay away from the chocolate here, my kids never eat it all!!
 
Today was total body and I had a fairly good workout. It went fast, only was a half hour. I should have slept in a bit longer. Same workout as last Monday only in superset fasion.

2 sets/18 reps with 2 minute rest between each superset.

Leg Extensions - 55# (up 5#)
ss w/
Hammer Curls - 20's (up 3#)
***Hammer Curls were brutal. I almost quit at 15 reps each set but I pushed through.

Lying Tricep Dumbbell Extensions - 15's (up 3#)
ss w/
Lateral Raise - 12's (up 1#)

SS #3
Flat Dumbbell Flyes - 27's (up 2#)
ss w/
Double-Arm Rows - 27's (up 2#)
 
This morning I did Supreme 90 Day Tabata Inferno day 60, 43 min, 333 calories. I followed with Urban Rebounding Extreme-MT Keli Roberts Maximum Metabolic Intervals 48 min, max hr 153, 371 calories. Keli used the weights through most of the workout. Each group of exercises is done twice through. It ends with some ab work and a 5 1/2 min str. I finished off with Tracey Staehle's Parts dvd premix pilates, abs, yoga, str 30 min 92 calories. Total workout time was 2 hr 1 min and calories burned 796. I have now done 8 of the URX-MT workouts. 5 more to check out. I ordered Kelly Coffey's new one this weekend.

Roselyn, I hear you on the candy. I have pies and icecream left too:eek:

Debbie, nice workout and only 30 minutes too:) How long are you doing this rotation?
 
Roselyn - I'm glad you are ok from those storms. I seen the damage at your airport over the weekend. How scary! This is not normal weather, I don't care what "they" say. Glad you are ok. Stay away fromt he chocolate. Luckily we only ended up with one box of Russell chocolates. But they are soooo good!!!

Diane Sue - I have this week and then 2 more weeks after until I'm done. I'll take a week off and then start something new. I'm thinking of making up my own thing again working one body part a week, like Chest & Tri's on Monday, Back, Bi's on Wed., and Shoulders and Legs on Friday. Something like that. Sounds like you got a great workout in! Nice job!
 
Diane Sue, so you liked the Kelli Roberts dvd? Mine is coming and I saw Gay Gasper has one too. it looked good, i watched a clip on Collage.

Debbie, that sounds like a good rotation.
 
Roselyn, I liked the Keli Roberts workout. She has two in this set. The other one is supposed to have plyometrics in it. The Gay Gasper one I did was good. She also has two in this set of workouts.

Debbie, that sounds like it would give you plenty of time to concentrate on each body part. Are you thinking of using lower rep ranges?
